Ben, Mark and Jarod talk evidence!

Key messages.

Evidence helps us avoid bias traps as we are all biased towards interventions and also to positive effects.

Understand more about research methods. Just because it says so in a paper does not make it so.

Evidence has to interact with patient values.

Evidence does not simply give us an answer.

Critical thinking is not just accepting or dismissing evidence.

Be critical of your own biases.

Current challenges in the Information Age maybe more about how to consume and deconstruct research rather than how to discover it.
