Would you ever get a Brazilian Butt Life or BBL for short? "Perfecting" the female body is an ideas that has been around since Adam and Eve, but in the past 12 years there has been a rise in achieving the "perfect" body more than ever and moving towards more "permanent" solutions like surgery.

We explore why women feel the urge to achieve "the instagram body" and they overall pressure on people, men and women to look a particular way.  We also cover the after care that comes with one of these major surgeries as Kristen Gooden, our guest is well versed in this topic. As women not only is there pressure to look a certain way but sometimes receiving care in the hospitals can be challenging as a Black women. Nurses and Doctors are less likely to listen to a Black woman expressing pain than a white woman, all that and more!

What do you think? Is therapy the new black? In recent years we've seen a rise of talk and chatter around mental health specifically in the black community. Is therapy the new, acceptable form of self care?

Eboné shares her struggle with creating boundaries and Akilah shares her journey going to therapy for the first time. Listen in as we chat with licensed marriage and family therapist, Jaleesa Black, about how therapy is publicized in the media, how seeking therapy could be seen as a luxury in communities of color, and an in-depth discussion on generational trauma. We also do a live breathing exercise that can help anyone struggling with anxiety, depression, or life's general ups and downs.

Then they drive right into giving their Two Cents on the hot topic of the week, and this week we are talking about relationships! Is monogamy overrated in 2020? One the Dead Ass Podcast by Khadeen and Devale Ellis, they brought up an interesting question, If a woman finds that sex is becoming a chore for her should she allow her man to find satisfaction elsewhere?

Now, if you let your man get sexual satisfaction elsewhere are you creating an environment of toxic masculinity? Man who think they can do what they want, when they want because they are a "man" and want to wear the pants and the panties in the relationship. Slim Thug gave us an ear full this past week about how he felt about being "controlled" by a woman.

However, Jeannie Mai is excited to start her new life with her man Jeezy and wants to be submissive to her man.

We end with some Black Excellence News including, Issa Rae, Micheal B. Jordan and Jordan Peele!
