As we dive into 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 we will learn about end times and especially about being “ready for the rapture”. We will also learn some ways Satan tries to deceive people from following Jesus.
In Mark 11, Jesus will rebuke a fig tree and the Pharisees for the same problem, a lack of fruit. He will also point out that holding on to unforgiveness will block our prayers.
Just as a mirror fogs and needs to be cleaned, so too our perspective on life can get distorted and need a reorientation. Join us as we learn to thrive in life’s difficulties by changing our perspective.
In the second half of Mark 10, Jesus shares with His disciples He will be delivered to the Jewish leaders who will condemn Him to death, but after three days He will rise again. He teaches them that the way to greatness in His Kingdom comes by serving others. The chapter closes with Jesus healing a blind man.
As we finish 1 Thessalonians, we will study the topic of “Living in Peace”. We learn God’s will for us to live in peace with God and others. We will also learn how not to quench the Holy Spirit in our lives.
In Mark 10, Jesus urges us to have a simple, childlike faith. He also redefines God’s requirements and warns us a sacrifice is required to enter heaven.
The book of Colossians chapter 3 gives great insight into “Enjoying The Abundant Life” that Jesus promised to his followers.
This week we will be reminded to remain spiritually ready- for the Day of the Lord is coming. We will also be called to action as God reveals the plan for His children and the work we must do.
More and more, Jesus wants to change us from being good, to being godly. Join us this weekend as learn three behaviors of a godly Church.

As we study 1 Thessalonians 3 we will see the loving heart of Paul as he encourages this newer group of believers. We will also examine the ways people can be strengthened or weakened by temptations and trials. God wants us to stand strong in the storms of life.
In Mark 8, Jesus gives us a strong warning; don’t let hypocrisy, worldliness, and compromise infiltrate your lives. We’ll also learn what doubting God looks like.
As we start 1 Thessalonians 2, Paul models what a model minister is and encourages us all to be ministers in the world around us.
In this passage of Mark 7 we will see Jesus heal based on the faith of others. We will also examine passages to build our faith for physical, emotional, and spiritual healing in our lives.
As we start 1 Thessalonians 1, we will learn how this early church displayed Faith, Love and Hope. We will learn how we can let our faith in Christ be visible to others.
In Mark 7, Jesus confronts the Pharisees about laying aside the commands of God for their own traditions. Jesus also explains that the root of all issues come from the heart.
The bible calls us to honor, respect and love all people whether they deserve it or not. We must choose to live a life that shows honor, respect and love.
In the second half of Mark 6, we’ll learn that God wants us to be an active partner in His ministry and in His miracles. We’ll also learn that if we have faith, Jesus always provides enough and it is more than we need.
As we finish the book of Daniel, we will learn more about end times details from the prophecies in chapter 12. We will also learn what we should be doing while we watch and wait for the return of Christ.
From the beginning of the Bible to the end we see God is in control.We can rest in Him, in His love. His will will not be stopped.
As we study Daniel 10 we will see first hand how spiritual warfare can hinder our prayers. We will also learn some principles to develop a more vibrant life of prayer.
As we close Mark 5, we see Jesus raising a dead girl to life and restoring a woman who made her way through a crowd for healing of her long-term affliction. This passage teaches us that believing faith changes everything and pleases God.
In our text today we will unpack the prophecy of Daniel’s “seventy-weeks” and learn it’s not the Atomic clock that matters, it’s God’s clock and our times are in His hands.

As we read the resurrection story of Jesus, we will celebrate and worship our risen king. We will learn 6 reasons why the resurrection of Jesus is eternally important to us.

Jesus teaches a parable about four soils that describe how the Seed of the Word is sown in the heart of man.

In Mark Chapter 3, Jesus is attacked for opposing a religious system based on manmade rules and rituals. We’ll also learn what blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is (and what it isn’t).
Daniel 7 is most of the most prophetic chapters in the Bible. We will take a deep dive into it’s possible meaning and draw practical application for our lives. We will see many correlations in this chapter with end time passages in the book of Revelation.
Mark Chapter 2 highlights Jesus teaching back in Capernaum. Through friends, faith, and forgiveness a paralytic is healed, a tax collector is called to discipleship, and the religious rulers witness Truth in action.
Former victories in life are no guarantee of an absence of future crises. When we find ourselves in the pits of life, we are minded that God has a perfect plan.
As we finish Mark Chapter1, we’ll see Jesus turn the religious “system” upside down. He will demonstrate His authority, His power over demons and darkness, and His power to heal. We’ll also learn how to love ALL people as Jesus shows us His love for ALL people.
As we study Daniel 5 we will learn from the fall of Babylon. We will examine the difference between the king’s pride and the humility of Daniel and how we can apply those lessons to our lives.
As we open the Gospel of Mark, we learn how John the Baptist fulfilled the Old Testament prophecy of being the messenger who would prepare the way of the Lord.
That same truth extends to us today. God is God and we are not. He is still sovereign and we are still dealing with pride. Like Nebuchadnezzar, we are all tempted to rule from our little thrones, we all must learn that God is sovereign.
In Genesis Chapter 49 and 50, we see the final moments of Jacob and Joseph, two of Israel’s Patriarchs. We’ll also examine what Biblical forgiveness looked like in Josephs life and what it should look in our lives as well.

Last week, we learned that Jacob was ill (slowly dying). Jacob set out to see him, and he took his two sons with him.

Tonight we will study Genesis 33, and conclude the story of Jacob and Esau. The question we are asking ourselves tonight is this: Is He “a God” or “My God”.

Genesis Chapter 30 teaches us great lessons about coveting, rivalry, and selfish gain. We’ll also learn that God’s plans can’t be thwarted and that His promises are always fulfilled.
As we start the book of Jonah we will learn reasons why people run from God but how His loves pursues us. We will see how our sin can negatively affect us and others but how the “perfect Jonah – Jesus” saves us.
As we study Genesis 29 we will see God taking Jacob through some very valuable lessons. We will learn about the principle of sowing and reaping especially related to integrity and servanthood. This is also a beautiful love story of God bringing Jacob and Rachel together.
The journey though life is marked with un-expectancies and even battles, but God is certain and so is His provision through it all. Join us this weekend as we learn how God provides on the battlefield of life.
Genesis Chapter 28 gives us a symbolic picture of God’s presence. We’ll also learn ways to enter God’s presence and how to properly respond after we “meet God”.
Part 1 of a mini-series on spiritual warfare as study Ephesians 6:10-13. We will learn what it means to “Stand Firm” as we let the Lord fight our battles while we take ungodly thoughts captive and shift the focus from our circumstances to worshipping The Lord.

As we start Ephesians 6, we will study God’s design for kids and parents. Pastor Dave Folkerts and his wife Barb share biblical principles on how to lovingly train our kids to follow Christ.
In Genesis Chapter 24, we’ll learn what being “On Mission” for God looks like. We’ll also review a few guidelines for making Godly decisions in our own lives.
This weekend, we are going to attempt something audacious – learn the entire story of the Bible in one teaching. We will discover that the Bible is one unified story about God redeeming the world through Jesus. The more we understand The Story, the more we understand our stories.

As we finish the second half of Ephesians 4 we will study 5 things that we are to “take off and put on” as we follow Jesus. This is a very practical teaching in how a disciple of Jesus lives differently than the worldly culture around them.
In Genesis 21 and 22 we will study the faith Abraham displayed in obeying one of the toughest things God has ever asked of a human to do. We will see how we can apply these faith lessons to our own life as we face God’s tests. We will also examine the correlation between this story and the Gospel of Jesus.
This weekend we’ll discover that God’s invitation in our lives deserves a response. God has called. Are we walking?
In Genesis 19 - 21, we’ll learn that God is ALWAYS faithful, even when we’re not. We’ll also see how God uses our mistakes for HIS Glory!
