The All-Stars have descended upon Portland and ExtraTime Radio was on the ground to talk to the protagonists: What does DeAndre Yedlin's future hold? Will Diego Valeri retire a Timber? And Michael Bradley discusses whether MLS should re-think the international friendly strategy.

But it's not just today's big names who are in Portland. Several of the future All-Stars will play in Monday's inaugural Homegrown match and we sat down with three of them for a wide-ranging intimate conversation: Gyasi Zardes (LA Galaxy), Wil Trapp (Columbus Crew) and Shane O'Neill (Colorado Rapids).

It is back! For the second time the ETR gang has come together in the name of education. Well not really but another soccer book is in the books (sorry), and this time it is "31-0" by James Montague. The book about some of the less heralded national teams around the world in their attempts to qualify for Brazil. The gang chats with the author about his extraordinary and sometimes dangerous journey to every continent to watch soccer. Bobby Warshaw also calls in to chat about his thoughts on the book and the idea of soccer being an agent of change in the world. And in the end Andrew reveals the next book up in the ETR book club!

Midweek MLS action didn't disappoint, and the guys run down all four games (except Chicago and Vancouver's scoreless draw ... Zzzzzzzz). The biggest topic of discussion? Red Bulls' defender Jamison Olave's intimate grab on fellow Colombian Olmes Garcia. What would you do? David's been through it before, and now we want your stories. Then D.C. United midfielder Davy Arnaud joins the show to talk the EJ-Ching beef, grey hairs and his second-place club.

It's that time of year, the Designated Player rumors are falling from the sky. Montreal locked one up. So did San Jose. Meanwhile, Sacha Kljestan and Jermaine Jones appear to be in the pipeline. Which one really gets the guys going? The last-place Impact hope it's Ignacio Piatti, and Goal.com reporter Nick Sabetti explains why the lay of the land in Montreal has changed so drastically in recent days.

Finally, your mail! A new idea for the Chipotle Homegrown game, we'll take it. Who cares about college soccer? Andrew and Dave, for two. Plus, allocation rules explained. Don't miss the second-ever book club on Friday morning!

There is no other word to describe it than abysmal. The result speaks for itself. 3-0 at the hands of DC United and the question is certainly raised of where TFC sits in overall scheme of MLS. Clearly, despite the money spent, not near the top of the Eastern Conference as they have lost back to back games against teams who have not splashed the cash and have built around proven MLS calibre players. With three more road games coming, these next games will be a major factor in where, or if, the Reds are positioned come post-season.
