A Gospel Truth is a ministry of Fireside Bible Fellowship for sharing the truth of God’s Word to a lost and dying world one truth from scripture at a time. Jesus said that he “is the way, the truth, and the life”. This truth is what the world needs in this life and the one to come.
Pastor Anthony is a follower of Jesus Christ through salvation. He loves sharing the gospel with everyone he meets. He is a husband to a loving wife and they have five wonderful children. He also works as a educational assistant serving the school and the families within our community.
Sin, "The Silent Killer" in our lives doesn’t always show any symptoms and can go undetected for the longest of time. Unrepented sin will lead to more serious damage such as separation from God and eventually death.
We all struggle with sin. Even the apostle Paul struggled with sin. God who is faithful has given us the ability to overcome sin.
John 14:6 tells us there is only one way to get to God! There’s only one truth! There’s only one life! The way, truth, and life is found only in Jesus Christ.
Matthew 7:13-14 tells us to enter in at the Straight Gate for straight is the gate and narrow is the way. Since there are false prophets in the world, we must always be careful of deception. The greatest danger of deception we will face is that of self-deception. The Scribes and Pharisees had fooled themselves into believing that they were righteous and that others were sinful. Like the Pharisees and Scribes, it is possible for people to know the right language (bible talk / churcheze), believe intellectually the right doctrines, obey the right rules, and still not be saved. There is a head knowledge and there is a heart knowledge. We will be discussing both.
Just like the three Hebrew children in this story you are faced daily with choices of whether or not you are going to bow down to the sins and idols in your life. Will you stand firm in your faith trusting that God will deliver you from whatever may be tempting you to turn from him? Will you bow down to those sins and idols?
There are two types of people in the Christian circle today. There are those who only talk the talk (having only a head knowledge, professing but never receiving) and the there are those who walk the walk (blood bought born again, receiving the power).
Scripture declares the all humanity has turned away from God, and must return to him. The term “repentance” if often used to refer to this process of returning to God and the inward and outward changes that it demands of people. Scripture also indicates that believers can wander away from God; they too must return to Him.
There is a literal hell and apart from the saving graces of God through the shed blood of Jesus Christ you will enter it for eternity.
Today we’ll look at Romans 7:14-25. Sin is something we all deal/struggle with. We are all sinners and we struggle with sin naturally. Even the Apostle Paul dealt/struggled with sin. My sin may be different from your sin, but we do all sin.
James tells us in verse 2 of chapter 1 to count it all joy when we face trials. Today, we briefly discuss trials.
As we continue in our study on the topic of preparing for meeting the bridegroom. In preparation to meet our bridegroom we must learn the ABC's of christian living. We should always denounce sin, be dependable in service, and continue in our dedication to selflessness.
During the time of engagement, as seen in the book of Esther, the bride (church) spent time preparing to meet her bridegroom (Christ). The bride went through a time of purification, that is making herself as perfect as humanly possible for her bridegroom.
These two texts of Scripture in today’s message are addressing to two different classes of people: the first is to the saved; the second is to the unsaved. These two groups will not be judged at the same time. Scripture teaches that the millennial reign of Christ will separate their judgments.
All throughout scripture we find that you are either a believer of Jesus Christ or you are serving the father of lies.

Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.” Romans 5:8-9
There is a step to prayer. Ask - it will be given, seek - you shall find, and knock - it will be opened
