Our Differentiator is Divyanshu Poddar who is the CEO and Chief Educator at Rockeeter’s research institute. Rocketeers Research Institute is a tech enabled platform providing students with a step by step path to go and become the spacecraft builders of tomorrow irrespective of their location and formal education. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology. So, lets hear from him how he is transforming education to a practical playground.
Our Differentiator in this episode is Richa Shrivastava who is a Managing Partner at Maker’s Asylum. Maker’s Asylum is a community space focussed on fostering innovation through purpose based learning focussed on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. She is graduate from Indian School of Business and in her previous stint she worked with Government of Andhra Pradesh to drive IT investments into the state. She has been particularly instrumental in forging strategic partnerships with the likes of Monetary Authority of Singapore, Visa, Thomson Reuters and 30+ such partners for Fintech Valley Vizag (a sustainable ecosystem created to support the flourishing Fintech industry in India) in the short period since the initiative took off as a state level strategy. She has also been responsible for creating the brand proposition for Fintech Valley and has travelled to most of the global fintech hubs to learn and incorporate the best practices in Vizag. Richa has also worked in the Indian Telecommunications industry. Her role as the Business Intelligence to the Chief Technology Officer at Idea Cellular involved strategic and analytic support to the leadership of the organisation. She was recognised as the Emerging Professional by the Chairman of the Aditya Birla Group for her contribution during the Telecom Spectrum Auctions held by the Government of India in February 2014 & 2015.
In this interview we talk to Hemanth Kumar (Entrepreneur and CEO of Pontis (Bridge in Greek)). Pontis (Uber for Cryptofinance) is a DeFi (decentralized finance) solution for centralized cryptocurrency exchanges built by a two-member team based out of Bengaluru. In our conversation with Hemanth, we spoke about his journey as an Entrepreneur and also their utopian vision to bring easy finance to everyone in the world through a completely unconventional approach and how their idea is different from other Entrepreneurial ideas. They were recently funded by AE Ventures (startup accelerator), an investment company that invests in blockchain startups.
