Not so much a remix, but a happy-DJ-accident. This is a blend of "Track For My Father" and a yet unreleased track, named "I Wanted You". I liked the result so much I recorded it as a single track for DJ use. Grab it while you can!

Here's a link to my track which is now part of the Visions compilation on Abseits Recordings. When they approached me to do a track, I was in the proces of finalizing the last few projects, before tearing down the studio, packing it in boxes and have it ready for shipment to the new house. So I had no time or opportunity to make something especially for this compilation. I gave them a few older tracks, form which they picked "Out of Sync - Out Of Time". I think it's from 2011, or maybe even before that. It was probably aired on White Noise once, and been collecting dust ever since. I am glad and proud it now has a place on this stunning compilation.
Andy (Bass Agenda) explains: “After over 100 releases I was planning on taking a break from the label from March but as this Coronavirus pandemic became more and more serious, I really felt like doing something tangible to help. Like many people I am out of work thanks to this crisis and I wanted to do something meaningful and creative with my time. I was getting the same kind of messages from artists both on the label and in the wider Electro/Techno community. Having done large charity release projects before I knew this could be done.”
He continues, “I posted on Facebook and approached a few contacts saying I was thinking of doing it and to get in touch if they wanted to get involved. A week later I had over 70 artists up for the challenge. It is a beautiful thing to see so many talented people getting involved, from newcomers to established leaders in the scene like Carl Finlow, John Selway, Detroit’s Filthiest, Dez Williams, and Radioactive Man.”
“As for where the money from the release will go, I chose NHS Charities Together because they represent over 100 NHS charities and will distribute donations amongst them and also have a specific Covid-19 campaign running. Médecins Sans Frontières are the other organisation that will receive profits from the release. I wanted to include one that worked beyond the UK to reflect the international nature of the crisis and the fact that the Electro and Techno communities are global too.”
"A laid back and lush affair. With added stringsection courstesy of TFHats. Also from Utrecht."
"I like my electro groovy. Groovy, easy to mix, easy to blend. My sounds isn't very purist. Yeah I do like Drexciya, but I do not try to sound like them. The emphasis of my music making is always to create a nice base-groove, and go from there. I am particularly fond of this track, and very happy and grateful that it's getting a home on this record."
"An attempt to squeeze in classic Loleatta Holloway-esque NY House vocal stabs in an electro groove. Don't know if it works, but I am happy how it turned out."

This release of Blind Allies is a disclosure of its main idea, it includes the tracks of artists never collaborating together. The artists toiled hard together on a similar concept keeping themselves unknown. The results of their contribution you can check out by yourself.

Igloo Magazine: Bass Agenda can do no harm, their mission is driven by a passion for sheer electro formation and deformation while RXmode delivers the highly contagious acid-electro squabble that is “Degraded.” Degraded is an apt title, its backbone a driving electro force to be reckoned with.”

Info:
Fans of Electro's big hitter DJs such as Helena Hauff, Dave Clarke, UMEK, Maceo Plex, Alienata, and UMWELT won't have escaped the sonic assaults of Dutch artist RXmode and his fellow Transhumanism collective members; w1b0, Slaves of Sinus, and TFHats.
RXmode's last EP 'Cerberus' was very much the EP he'd been building up to since his debut on Bass Agenda Recordings back in 2015; dark, sinister, heavy, and distinctive.
One of the tracks from that EP, 'Degraded', gets the remix treatment from the other Transhumanism members on this, the third vinyl release the collective has put out.
The original track kicks things off in style before the three very individual remixes take things to new territories. TFHats takes the track, remoulds it and adds his own lyrics and vocals to great effect.
W1b0 brings what will certainly be looked back on as one of the heaviest tracks of 2018; his 'Violation in G Minor' mix is a brutal sonic assault with a bassline that will surely wake the dead.
Last and by no means least Slaves of Sinus brings an abstract acid tinged version; laced with his own brand of sinister vibes and darkness.
Recording of the WhipIt gig, in full-on Transhumanism mode.
