The message tackles how people that claim to follow Christ, Use the act of service to an almighty God more of a mask for fame, Reputation, Insecurity, and many more hidden agendas that the human heart desires, ultimately using the idea of "the more useful I am, the more of a person I am" where We forget the most important part of being here is to truly Love God, letting Him transform our hearts by His word, and be surrendered at His will. This gives us an opportunity to be part of something much more bigger than Us; God's beautiful redemptive story of Jesus to be made known so we can be home to where we belong. The ultimate goal of a changed Christian heart should be that, but we have made it more about building our own kingdom and blasphemed His name for our agendas. This Message is a heart check and a wake up call. It forms a question "Why do you truly serve?"

We sometimes feel a tension between authenticity and growth - as if challenging each other to grow would imply that the “real” us doesn’t belong. But who are we, really? What is the authentic version of ourselves, and what does that imply about spurring each other on towards transformation into Christ likeness?

In a culture built around convenience, preference, and personal fulfillment, it's easy to bring a consumer mindset into our faith. We often evaluate church the same way we evaluate restaurants, products, and entertainment: Did I enjoy it? Did it meet my needs? Was I fed? But Scripture presents a radically different vision of the church—not as a product to consume, but as a family where God forms us into the image of Christ. This message challenges us to move beyond comfort and preference and embrace the kind of commitment, sacrifice, and perseverance that produce genuine spiritual maturity.

Modern Christianity doesn’t usually reject God — it often reshapes Him. In this opening week of Golden Calves, we look at Israel’s worship of the golden calf and ask a hard question: have we done the same? When worship becomes centered on our feelings, experiences, and spiritual highs, we can mistake emotional atmosphere for genuine surrender. This message challenges us to move beyond chasing encounters with God and toward the long, hidden, ordinary path of obedience that actually forms us into Christ’s image.

Ephesians 6 reminds us that spiritual warfare isn’t just about external attacks—it’s a battle for our minds, our hope, and our confidence in God’s salvation. Paul describes salvation as a helmet because hope protects us from despair, fear, temptation, and the lies of the enemy. In a world obsessed with control and consumed by anxiety, the Gospel offers something deeper: safety in Christ that frees us to surrender fully to Him. The enemy wants believers distracted, fearful, and spiritually asleep, but hope in Jesus keeps us steady and alert. When you truly believe eternity is secure, the temporary pleasures and fears of this world begin to lose their grip.

We are in an ancient battle between the kingdom of God and the enemy, and most of the conflict happens in the unseen decisions of our daily lives. In Ephesians 6, Paul doesn’t just describe armor; he reveals the character of God that we are called to “put on” every day—truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, and the Word. The real fight is not about external threats, but about whether we will rely on ourselves or on God’s nature as our source of reality and direction. This message challenges the instinct to trust our hearts and instead anchors us in who God actually is. Most Christians know the phrase “put on the armor of God”—but few actually live like they’re in a war. Ephesians 6 reminds us that spiritual battles are not occasional, they’re constant, and standing firm requires intentional, daily action. This armor isn’t something we admire—it’s something we actively put on through prayer, Scripture, and dependence on the Holy Spirit. The enemy is strategic, deceptive, and relentless, but we don’t fight for victory—we fight from it. This message is a wake-up call: if you’re not suiting up, you’re leaving yourself exposed.

Romans 11 reminds us that being part of God’s family isn’t something we earned—it’s something we’ve been graciously grafted into. Using the image of a tree, Paul warns believers not to become proud or complacent, but to remain rooted in faith and humility. God is both kind and severe—welcoming those who trust Him while cutting off those who reject Him. Tonight we'll challenge our tendency to take grace for granted and calls us to examine the posture of our hearts. At the end of the day, it’s not about what you’ve been given—it’s about whether you stay connected to the source.

Romans 7 exposes something every believer feels: the internal war between what we know is right and what we actually do. Paul teaches that the law isn’t the problem — it’s holy, good, and reveals the sin we were blind to. God uses His standard to convict us, expose us, and lead us into transformation, not condemnation. Romans 7 teaches that following Jesus isn’t about obeying God out of pressure — it’s about loving God out of freedom. Paul uses the picture of a marriage covenant to show that when we died with Christ, we were released from the law and united to Him in new life. Instead of producing a harvest of rebellion, our union with Jesus now produces a harvest of good fruit. This message explores the difference between religion and relationship, and how the Holy Spirit empowers us to live in love, not legalism. Real transformation flows not from trying harder, but from living connected to Christ.

We all face moments when identity struggles, unmet expectations, and anxiety seem unshakable—even after we’ve tried every “Christian” answer we know. The problem isn’t that Scripture isn’t enough; it’s that we sometimes use it like a band-aid instead of seeing the deeper truth it points to. In Exodus 3–4, God meets Moses in his insecurity, not by inflating his ego, but by shifting his focus from his own limitations to God’s sufficiency. Our potential and our limitations are two sides of the same coin—both designed to lead us to rely on God. When we take our eyes off ourselves and fix them on Him, we find the strength to walk where He calls.

We live in an image-driven world, where the fear of truly being known leads people into isolation. In contrast, scripture encourages us to embrace truth and live in reality as it actually is. How do we put this into practice?

This week, we will be going over Romans 4:1-12, to better understand what Paul is saying in his thorough presentation of God's gospel in Christ Jesus. Paul describes Abraham's righteousness as not stemming from the works of the law (as the law hadn't been given to Israel at that point), but through belief in God (obedience, love, faith and trust). This would have been unfamiliar to many of the Jewish believers at the time, since the teachers of the law pressed onto perfection in the law and the acquisition of God's righteousness through that way. However, God's standard stressed perfect obedience, which was not possible, and God knew that, so it is through faith in His Son, who took our penalty and became our sin, that we might become God's righteousness in Him (through faith in Jesus Christ) and this was for all who accepted Christ, not only the circumcised, but also those who have not been, since they share the same circumcision in their hearts (the same seal of faith in Christ Jesus).

The promises of God are true and real, often times we want them in our own time, when we think they should happen. How do you handle yourself when the promises don't happen when you think they should. We need to take encouragement from waiting on God's timing.

In a world where we're constantly trying to prove ourselves—morally, spiritually, even socially—Romans 3:19-31 offers good news: we can stop striving and start trusting. This passage confronts the futility of earning righteousness through the law and reveals the heart of the gospel—God makes us right with Him not through our performance, but through faith in Jesus. Whether you feel burdened by guilt or prideful in your goodness, this message invites you to rest in the righteousness that only God provides.

In Romans 3:21-30 Paul says God's righteousness has been revealed. Jesus Christ has been put forward as the new mercy seat, establishing the sacred, tabernacling presence of God on planet earth once again and empowering the formation of a just community. This is no arbitrary venting of wrath - this is the restoration of the human vocation so that God's purposes can be fulfilled... and that is what we call justice.

On a spectrum of legalism to "cheap grace", Paul calls out both camps and calls the Church of Rome (and us) to a higher standard.

The right action done with the wrong intent, is in fact the wrong action. God desires for His people to be holy in all of life. Paul condemns the Jews for being people who said one thing and then did another, and did not practice what they preached. Instead, God desires that His people's words, thoughts, heart, and actions are aligned and that his people are transparent, even when they don't "look good" on the outside.
We have all sinned, we all fall under God and we can't look down on anyone else. Those who follow the law are condemned by the law that they can't keep, those who follow their own standards fail their own standards. Yet, we are judged by the perfect Lord Jesus Christ and this also offers hope.

In a world full of idols shaped in our own image, we're reminded that God's wrath is not impulsive anger—but the righteous response to our willful rebellion. This message will challenge what you think about sin, culture, and the cost of rejecting the Creator for created things.

Paul begins by thanking God for the Roman believers, whose faith was so vibrant it was known throughout the world—reminding us that gratitude and prayer must be the foundation of all Christian relationships and ministry. He emphasizes his deep desire to visit and encourage them, reflecting the mutual strengthening that comes through Christian fellowship and the shared pursuit of spiritual growth. Contrary to popular understandings, Romans is not Paul's systematic theology. Instead, Paul is encouraging a troubled community in Rome to welcome one another as Jesus has welcomed them, and in so doing they will display his gospel, which he defends as the fulfillment of the Law and the Prophets.

In this intro to Habakkuk, we dive into the story of Judah's decline and the prophet Habakkuk's cry for justice. Habakkuk sees a world filled with violence and corruption, and his doubts about God's silence reflect the struggles many of us face when our experiences don't match what we know about God's promises. Is doubt a sign of weak faith? Or an opportunity for God to prove Himself; inviting us to trust Him despite our circumstances? We also confront the impact of generational sin—how issues like abuse, addiction, and anger can be passed down through the family line, and how through Jesus we have the power to break these cycles for generations to come.

Culture convinces us that to welcome someone means to "entertain" - to have the well arranged house, the right food, the mood lighting, the perfect music and vibe.
In contrast, Jesus shows in the story of Zacchaeus that by leading from a place of humility and weakness we make space for the weakness of others. And it is in a moment of honest vulnerability and being seen and loved in their vulnerability that people come to truly and fully belong to a community.

As we walk with Jesus, he entrusts us with pieces of His Kingdom and allows us to do work alongside Him. However, the temptation the disciples faced (that we still face today) is to do things for Christ without doing them with Christ.

God's faithfulness to Israel is one of the primary witnesses to God's character in the Bible. In Romans 11, Paul unpacks this "mystery" and shows that God's commitment to His people goes farther than most would imagine.
God has displayed His love for fallen mankind in this: that while we were still His enemies, Christ came into the world, lived a sinless life, and bore our punishment on the cross so that we could be justified and brought into a relationship with Him. God offers this gift to us out of His love so that we would respond with love. He enables us to love others because He loved us first.
The Lord our God is Just, but He is also Patient. These two aspects of His character show us the core truth behind the attribute "slow to anger."
God's Grace is Him showing undeserved favor toward humanity through Jesus on the cross. But the Scriptures also show that Grace is much more than that. In this message we'll unpack how God's Grace saves us, empowers us, and elevates us to one day judge all of Creation with Him.
Paul and Silas encounter a slave girl possessed by a spirit of divination, who is subsequently freed from the spirit by Paul, leading to their imprisonment by the girl's masters. While in prison, an earthquake miraculously opens the prison doors and unfastens their chains. This leads to the conversion and baptism of the jailer and his household, and eventually, Paul and Silas are released after Paul reveals his Roman citizenship.

When Peter is told to bring the Gospel to Cornelius, he has to overcome years of Jewish tradition that separated Jews from Gentiles. Now, it's Peter's turn to decide whether God's instruction or Peter's long-held beliefs and traditions would guide his actions. When Job’s life gets wrecked, naturally he wrestles with God about why. Chapter after chapter depicts Job & his friends’ attempts to make sense of the suffering. God gave King Solomon wisdom, riches, power, fame, relationships and everything else that the world could offer…and in the face of it all Solomon writes that it’s all meaningless. So many of us will spend our lives chasing the next thing - the next job, the next car, the next house, the next promotion, the next relationship…just to realize that whatever ______ is leaves us empty and unfulfilled. Society today tells us that a good life means being rich and having our needs met by our own doing. That, in doing this, it must be done by any means necessary. But James is correcting us saying that no, we need to treat others right and value what matters most: Jesus.

Jude is writing his letter to the early church as he felt compelled to speak on a particular topic. The topic was to have believers contend for the faith by watching out for those who pervert the gospel. The way people can pervert the gospel is similar to that of Cain, Balaam, and Korah as mentioned in the letter and we still see the same issues today. We need to watch out for what is being taught and what we believe because our beliefs lead to actions.

Many people fall victim to two types of thoughts. Either they are good enough without Jesus, or they believe they are horrible and undeserving & undeserving Jesus and His forgiveness. Judas fell victim to both. Where does that lead? It ultimately leads to death and separation from Christ.

When someone wrongs us, our gut tells us to make things right by getting even. Jesus tells us differently - to turn the other cheek. But does that mean that all Christians are to be pushovers and let things happen to them? Or is there a time and place to "get back" at the ones who harmed us?

The story of the rebellion of Korah in Numbers 16 illustrates to us that we don't dictate equality, but the ethos of what God's kingdom is one of authority and structure. Samuel a direct descendant of Korah helped lead David is his family was an integral part of David's tabernacle leadership and wrote 11 Psalms, including Psalm 47. Psalm 47 declares that God is King. And the beautiful part is that God adopts us to be His sons and daughters.

Christians are caught up in a long-standing conflict between The Lord and Satan. Where the Lord wants life, Satan wants death. Where the Lord wants hope, Satan wants despair. This week we unpack the tactics that our enemy uses to discourage and derail God's people by looking at the story of David and Bathsheba...and how Satan turned a "Man after God's heart" into an adulterer, hypocrite, and murderer.
