The Avenues Library & Media team podcast. Each episode will focus on a different theme (Love! Murder!Climate Change! Tech!) and share some of our school’s favorite reads and the books we can’t keep on our shelves. (No seriously, where did those books go?) Very loosely hosted by your resident librarian Ms. Peralta, but most of the talking will be done by our special guests and YOU!

For the remainder of this school year, all of our episodes are going to follow one common theme: What are you reading while at home during this time?
We're collecting recommendations from teachers and students throughout the school to find out what everyone's been reading; whether it's a fantasy series to escape the daily monotony of being at home or a longtime favorite that hasn't been picked up in years. This week, we've gathered recommendations from some of your favorite faculty. Listen to hear what they say!

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, for this episode we focused on the idea of LOVE in all types of YA books. We kick it off with a conversation between students (who don’t read romance) about love storylines in all kinds of fiction and spend a lot of time talking about our favorite fantasy and Sci Fi novels. Then, we share some book recommendations from students and wrap it all up with a little piece of trivia. Can you guess what book that first line is from?
