Sometimes in life, when it comes to the painful emotions that come along with day to day life, the struggle can be very real. In part 2 of our series The Struggle is Real, we lean into the pain we experience when we feel desperate…..like there’s no hope and we have no idea what to do or where to turn. Join us as we discover four truths for defeating desperation and emerging victorious in the end.

In our culture, we often have a view of what real faith is that collides with the truth of what God’s Word tells us it is. And as we struggle to view it through God’s eyes, there’s often times, things that contribute to that. But if we could address those things that cause us to struggle, we could have the kind of faith that God desires which could change our lives. A basecamp helps people rest and recover from a difficult climb and it equips them and sends them out for the next stage of their journey. God has called Crossroads to be a spiritual basecamp. Sunday we will continue with our series, called “BaseCamp,” where we see the importance of having a team of people around us to help us in our journey.

And to help us improve our sending and serving capacity, in part 4 of our Basecamp series, God challenges us about our heart attitude towards money as he invites us to answer the Call to Trust.
God is calling us to build a better basecamp – to improve our equipping and sending capacity as a church. Part of that is working together to buy a new facility. But part of that is letting God stretch us spiritually. Sunday in part 3 of our BaseCamp series, we will discover how we grow, with God’s help, to become the basecamp he’s calling us to be.

What a “family” is has been defined by society through the centuries, and that definition is ever changing.
