We always follow stringent rules when it comes to caring for our pet. Whether it comes to limiting their food, making sure the right nutrients are in their diet, they get lots of exercise, and even choose carefully the toys and products that we buy for them. It's funny because we have such meticulous care for our fur babies, but we oftentimes forget to take care of ourselves the right way!
What if we limit our snacks? We set a schedule for our own walks? We make sure that we eat healthy food? What if we start to take care of ourselves better?
In this voice note, I would like to share a shift of perspective in your mindset, so you can live in an optimally healthy life!

Our bodies can only handle so much when we try to do multiple things all at once, and it is really not healthy and sustainable to do so.
In this podcast episode, I share 6 ways to relive yourself of stress so you don't become a stress stacker!

Did you know that 85% of Australians are affected in some way by suicide? In 2020, we have lost 3,138 loved ones in Australia to suicide - that equates to 8 people a day. This also includes adolescents from 15 years old. Why is this happening?
Melanie Schroder, one of Suicide Programs' Directors, joins the show this week for an in depth discussion about suicide awareness, prevention, and intervention that will enable us to have calm conversations that can save lives.
With Mel's 25 years of experience working across government, education, and community sectors with a focus on mental health, suicide intervention & prevention, as well as conflict resolution & peace building, she has developed an organization which facilitates programs aimed to reduce suicide and its impact on individuals, families and communities. They achieve this through educating and empowering attendees to recognise and support those who have lost hope.
Let's all reach out a caring hand and be that beam of hope for those who are stuck in that dark place. In this episode, let's dive in on How Calm Conversations Can Save a Life.

Have you ever lent money to a friend or family member and never got it back? Sharing and being generous is always great trait to have, but sometimes this kind nature can be taken advantage of, and on some unfortunate circumstances, this whole money lending transaction destroys relationships when it's time to pay it back.
Where do we draw the line?

How do we say no?
In this voice note, I share seven reasons why we should never lend money to friends and family, and if you should, how to carefully plan the loan terms, talk about repayments, and also how to help your loved ones go through their financial burden.

How worthy are you in your relationship? In relationships, we usually try to make our partner realise our worth. But unfortunately we don't have any control of our partners world view.
Worthiness is a bizarre concept that only we humans use to judge ourselves, to judge others, and to judge everything around us. No other species does that, insane right?!
Did you know that only you can determine your own worth? Low self-esteem is a just the way we perceive ourselves and we are all responsible for our own perception, meaning that if we want, we can change that.
If you don’t value and respect yourself, no matter how loving your partner is, you will still not be able to feel it. You will only doubt your partner’s love for you and feel more insecure.
Enjoy this episode on understanding the importance of self worth in a relationship.

Today's show is on building wealth, one of my favourite topics! I've bought in Financial Planner Scott Taylor so that I can rack his brain on how we can all get started on our path to financial freedom.
Scott is an adviser with an emphasis on advice. Working with committed individuals to help them understand their current situation and visualise their future. This then makes it possible to identify the best route, and therefore most appropriate vehicle to get there. Constant checking of this route (identifying other paths/strategies and comparing) and vehicle (what products you are using) is essential to cater for any changes to your goals, circumstances or market conditions. This is where Scott thrives - identifying the route of the journey and ongoing support ensuring wealth creation.

Today's episode is the 3rd part of my 3 Part Series in the importance of showing up for yourself.
We spend way too long living life on other people's terms andwith conditioned behaviours that we may start to correct way too late in life. I dive in to this episode with practical information that will get you back in alignment of the truth of who you are.
To anyone looking in you’ve got it all together; career or business going well, busy social schedule around the children and your friends, and you appear outwardly confident, happy and successful.
What they don’t know is that there are things you think about that keep you awake at night, or distract you several times during the day. Thoughts that even your closest friends probably wouldn’t guess, and some unsettling feelings you don’t understand the origin of, (or if you do, it’s too painful so you block it out.. again).
If you told anyone that you feel insecure, that you worry about not being good enough, you fear success, and failure, or that you’re preoccupied with what others think of you; they’d be shocked because you’ve been so good at hiding your fears and running on auto that you’ve even had yourself fooled until now.

Michelle Lee Diasinos is a Conscious Parent Coach & advocate, author, podcast host and mother of two. After a decade of working with families and educators as a teacher and occupational therapist, she recognised the immense impact of the conditioned self on our ability to connect with our children when she became a mother and met herself for the first time. Her journey inwards sparked a deep calling to support fellow mothers as they navigate their unique healing journey.
Our goal should not be to be perfect parents, but to become more aware and transparent with our kids when we also make mistakes.
What a relief right?
Today's episode is full of so much goodness!
We chat about:
-How in the messiness of exhaustion and confusion of parenting you are able to grow
-Being a patchwork of others expectations of you and finding your identity under there
-The steps to begin conscious parenting and listening to your inner voice
-The paradigm of punishing a child
-How 'not' to speak to children
-Being conscious when we revert to yelling, screaming and trying to control a child
-Building connection with children when you experience guilt from 'losing control' as a parent
Seriously today's discussion is so valuable, there is so much more I can add here, but for now, hit play and come to my instagram page @hol_health to comment with what you loved about this chat, please. I love hearing your take aways!

She was trauma-bonded, co-dependant, always seeking outside validation and I was manically suicidal. When she came across a modality using NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming)and Time Line Therapy®, it changed her life forever.
