29:53 Summary of our beautiful podcast
Our guest today is my ex-colleague, Victor Gonzalez.
For most of his career, he was a Tech Recruiter, working in agencies and in-house.
We used to work together at N26 where Victor was scaling the Barcelona office.
Around 2 years ago he made a big leap in his career and became a Product Manager.
In this episode, we will discuss his experience of making a career change.
- how did he manage to make a move
- what are the current challenges
- what is exciting about being a Product Manager.
I hope this episode inspires you or maybe boost confidence if you're already thinking about making a career move.
Our guest today is Daria Shulepova. She is currently running her own consultancy business, scaling engineering teams for startups in the EMEA region. Daria used to work as a TA Specialist at companies like Careem, Tajawal, and other Dubai based tech companies.
Besides recruitment, Daria helps job seekers to find a dream-job by optimizing the LinkedIn profile, sharing market insights, and some other things we will discuss in this episode.
We will discuss more Dubai and the overall MENA region. What are the cultural differences, how does the talent market look like, and how Daria's life has changed after she started her own company.
My guest today is Alena Kuliashova who is currently working as an Employee Experience Partner at N26. For more than a year Alena was leading Design hiring at N26 and successfully placed more than 40 designers across 4 locations. I’ve been always impressed by Alena’s energy and commitment to learning and growing.
In this episode I want to focus on the challenges of hiring designers, and what are her tips on finding the right talent. The second topic is her new role Employee Experience Partner. What is this role about and what are the day to day responsibilities and challenges
Enjoy the episode :)
Joe McAllister is a TA Team Lead @HelloFresh. He has been in recruitment over 15 years and worked across UK, Spanish and German markets. Joe recently moved to Berlin and currently leading a global team of talent acquisition.
We used to work with Joe at N26, and I was always amazed by his professionalism and wide understanding of talent management. He had a very important goal back then to build a new hub for N26 in Barcelona. Joe joined a company straight from a recruitment agency where he was a Lead Recruiter. So it would be extremely interesting for me to know what is his view on the differences of working in-house vs agency.
Anastasia Holub is a Talent Acquisition manager at Omio, one of the most successful Berlin startups. She has been in recruitment over 5 years and knows the industry inside out.
Anastasia is consistently getting hundreds of likes and thousands of views on Linkedin. I was always curious about what makes her content so successful. How she stands out in the flood of the content we see on Linkedin.
Enjoy the episode.
