This podcast is about setting out on a journey with Christ which will always be filled with wonders. The foundational scripture is Joshua 3:5 ESV: "Then Joshua said to the people, 'Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the LORD will do wonders among you.'" God continues to do wonders in the lives of those who choose to follow Him in faith. Following God requires faith, discipline, and bravery. No journey is without detours and challenges yet God promises to give you His peace. Join me on this journey and study God's Word.

We sat down with Lindsey Maestas of The Living Easy Podcast and she shared her heart about how to create a thriving, Christ-honoring relationship with a difficult in-law. Many married couples struggle with how to maintain a healthy level of autonomy while getting unwanted outside advice/influence from their in-laws. Lindsey shares some absolute gems about how to protect your marriage while also honoring your spouse's mother or father. This conversation was so good! If you know someone who might benefit from these tips, please share this episode with them!

Wow! What an awesome interview we have for y’all today! We had the chance to sit down with our dear friends Cleveland and Susie Piggott, who are both MDs working in the Denver, CO area. As an interracial couple, they have a unique and powerful perspective on the world and have some challenges that most people do not have to face. These two have such a strong commitment to one another and we were inspired by their answers to our questions. Enjoy!

How do you learn to celebrate the differences between you and your spouse instead of constantly butting heads? We wanted to explore this in a bit more detail. It's all about the give and take. Be open to new experiences for the benefit of your husband or wife. Join us as we dive in and discuss.
Stay tuned after the outro for some fun outtakes! Also, this was recorded very early in 2020 and the coughing is not due to any serious illness!

Life is busy! We had a wonderful question from a listener that asked how we stay close in the daily grind of life. We took some time to break own how we like to connect and even go into detail about our morning, afternoon, and evening routines. Hopefully this conversation can spark some inspiration if you find that you and your spouse are feeling like "two ships in the night." Comment in the MTP Facebook Group with any feedback on the episode!

Y'all are going to love this episode! We had such a great conversation with our friends from the Chicago area. We love this couple dearly and we think you will too! We got deep into three things they wish they could tell their younger married selves. It's a cool thought exercise and wow did they deliver!
This conversation was so good we are going to release it in two parts. Stay tuned next week for the conclusion to the conversation.

Don't underestimate the power that finances can have over your marriage. It can and has caused many divorces.
One of the best ways to get on the same page when it comes to finances is to share about your financial past. What kind of upbringing did you have when it comes to money. Did you grow up poor? Wealthy?
We get into all things money-related in this episode.

My 52 Day Journey of Reframing my Thinking with God
In September, I challenged myself to act on the belief that God can do anything in a short period of time. I challenged myself to overcome low confidence and build an online store in 52 days with no experience, no plan, and very little guidance. During the 52 days I built the store but also strengthened my faith in what God could do with me.
