In this episode of SOMOS we chat to illustrator Javie Huxley.
Javie is an British-Chilean illustrator that centres black and
brown people in her work. Her illustrations have appeared in
Gal-dem Magazine and Shado Magazine. Javie is also a
trustee and campaigner for the Save Latin Village Campaign.
We find out what it was like growing up in Felixstowe, her
move to London to study illustration, and how she found her
community far away from home.
