Elsie suggests a new podcast name before we work through the continued testing of Joseph’s brothers. Even when doing the right thing, Joseph was not in control of the outcome. But God was and God was with him, working his blessings from imprisonment. We learn that nothing is truly chaotic in the Lord. We can trust his Word even when all our circumstances seem to contradict God’s promises.

Joseph has two dreams with meaning that cause double trouble. Perhaps if all involved had learned more humility by faith, these dreams could’ve been discussed differently. It takes a lot for a family to practice humility, love and trust. God help us! He has and he does. Music: Isaiah 43:11 as a song.
Our new unit of Joseph begins, but it’s not all pretty. First, one child “remembers” that Joseph went into a lion’s den. Then, we actually read the sad family start to this account. But we end with the fresh air of a far greater love from our God!
