Finns Dockside Bar & Grill in Apollo Beach Florida is a destination restaurant and bar serving delicious seafood focused menu items, friendly service and a true Florida casual dockside dining experience. That is what their website says anyway, check out our Podcast all about our experience at Finns!! Did we love it? Did we have any issues? Lol!

First thoughts on walking into Finn's was a big open concept with high ceilings and you absolutely got that Waterfront vibe. The outside patio/deck area has plenty of covering and a nice big square bar that with a rough guess seats about 40. Country music mixed with Jimmy Buffett helped set the mood for our date night, lol! A lot of tables spread throughout the deck for dinner and seating all along the edge of the deck. We took two seats overlooking the Bay, the wind was howling which made for a very comfortable night.

We own property in Florida! It's been quite the journey since we arrived over 4 years ago and we are very happy to be staying in the area we first moved to.

Westgate River Ranch Resort & Rodeo

This trip was a little different than our beaches and sea creatures! And we LOVED it!

Our accommodations @westgateranch for the long weekend were a 6 person tent, a grill, fire pit and a golf cart!

We were surrounded by farm animals…the beautiful horses and the hilarious goats were the best!

Jett found his inner cowboy at the rodeo and saloon.

So much fun. So much to do! We can’t wait to go back.

River Street Savannah GA:

Quick Stop in Savannah and just in time for to celebrate America with July 4th fireworks!
We fell in love with this city as soon as we arrived. We stayed at the Best Western, right in the heart of the Riverside District, 2 minute walk to River Street! We enjoyed an awesome firework show to celebrate the 4th of July and America! Then we lucked out and got a table at Graffito Restaurant, the place is very cool, huge glass windows and the pizza was delicious!
We walked around the cobblestone streets and up to Market Street before heading back to the Hotel.
In the morning we woke up and took a walk to the Best Dang Biscuits and Donuts, and I will say, they didn't disappoint!

After a short stay in the Boston area, we headed even more north to Ashland, NH and the Cold Springs Resort. Its Jodi's little slice of heaven once a year where her family owns a time share since 1980.

It was just what we needed, a relaxing week in the woods. We spent a day at the river, a couple hikes, great food at local restaraunts and hung by the pool with old friends....

Venice Beach, FL: A Beautiful Condo and our Top 5 Places to Eat in Venice, FL.

Jodi and Jett enjoyed a relaxing long weekend at our friends awesome condo minutes to the
Beach. They also let me join in for a couple days.

Jett came on to start the show to discuss his big shark hunt!

Croissant & CO is a French bakery located in downtown Venice, Florida.
All their products are Home Made from scratch daily with the freshest ingredients!
Our favorites were the Quiche Lorraine, Chocolate beignets and obviously the croissants.

Venice Island Coffee is family run and has that old school diner feel where everyone knows everyone. Go where the locals go!
Our favorites were the Pancakes, Monkey Toast and the Chai Latte!

Cafe Longet, Steve Longet is a Grand Chef with epicurean taste who devotes his time to pleasing palates with food.
We went for a quick take out lunch, The Chicken Salad Tartine and the Chicken Panini were both a big hit with us!

Nokomo's Sunset Hut, Tiki Hut Waterfront Bar, whats not to like already!! Come down to Dona Bay and enjoy some of the best sunsets in Florida while you enjoy outside seating with one of our handcrafted cocktails or unique Caribbean food!
We enjoyed Happy Hour with Margaritas, IPA's, Peanut Butter Whisky, Peel & Eat Shrimp, and Tuna Sashimi. Great atmosphere with live music and the sunset is a bonus!

Pop's Sunset Grill, Gulf Coast's favorite waterfront dining landmarks on the Intracoastal waterway. Live music and inside and outside seating.
We enjoyed the Calamari, Flatbread and the Salmon BLT! Margarita was pretty good as well!

Sean Finally Got Invited on the Boat with Josh & Marissa! It was sure worth the wait for him as we took a Day Trip over to Egmont Key State Park, about 17 Miles from St. Pete!

First we had lunch over at The Big Catch and the Grouper Sandwich did not disappoint!

Accessible only by boat, Egmont Key has a unique natural and cultural history, including a lighthouse that has stood since 1858. During the 19th century, the island served as a camp for captured Seminoles at the end of the Third Seminole War and was later occupied by the Union Navy during the Civil War.
