We are a church located in Treasure Valley of Idaho. We are reaching Boise, Meridian, Kuna, Eagle, and Nampa.
How do we grow in our faith. The focus is time with God personally, and being around other christians.
How do Christians preserve unity when they disagree on controversial topics? How do we know what is right, wrong, or just a difference of opinion? Pastor Doug will walk us through I Corinthians 8 as we see how we can foster unity when seeing things differently pushes us to divide.
If you are reading this you probably have been impacted by divorce in your family or your friends. Divorce breaks families and can cause decades of hurt. Our culture often celebrates divorce as an easy solution to a broken marriage and on the flip side the Church as a whole at times has marginalized and not helped disciple people going through a divorce. In this passage Paul will teach us the biblical way to think about our marriages and how Jesus will bring healing to anyone who has felt the sting of divorce.
In this message from 1 Corinthians 7, Pastor Doug walks us through Paul’s teaching on singleness and marriage. When it comes to marriage and singleness, it’s easy for us to get disoriented. Outside the church, marriage seems less and less important. But inside the church, it can sometimes be elevated to the status of idol! So how do we understand God’s design for both marriage and singleness? Simple: We follow the example of the Apostle Paul.
The ultimate purpose of our lives is to honor God. One of the areas we struggle most to do this is in the area of sexuality. We live in a culture that prioritizes gratifying self instead of glorifying God. We will look at 1 Corinthians 6:9-20 to identify our priorities when it comes to having God honoring sex.
Conflict is going to happen. As Christ Followers we are called to handle conflict in such a way that we point to the Gospel. In 1 Corinthians 6, Paul points out the problems with how the church is handling conflict and corrects their actions. Conflict is an opportunity to reflect Christ and show the world the power of His redeeming love.
In this message from 1 Corinthians 5, we learn about the messy but necessary process of church restoration. We may find it harsh to hear what the Apostle Paul says about those who persist in sin. But if we truly care about our people, if we truly care about the vulnerable, if we truly care about our neighbors, if we truly care about Jesus’ reputation ... we will be faithful to lovingly confront our brothers and sisters in Christ.
In Chapter 4 of I Corinthians we learn what it means to be a leader in God's kingdom! Paul gives us multiples ways to be found faithful.
When you think of spiritually mature people, what comes to mind? As we continue in our sermon series I Corinthians, Doug Connelly walks us through what it means to have the mind of Christ and what real spiritual maturity is.
In 1 Corinthians, we will be challenged to examine every area of life through the lens of the Gospel. Specifically, Paul addresses unity among believers, marriage, sexual morality, love, worship gatherings, spiritual gifts, the resurrection and many other practical topics. Through this series, we will learn how to shine the light of Christ into a world full of hurt, brokenness, and darkness.
So many of us want to read, study, and apply the Bible, but are not sure exactly how to do it. Regardless of how long you have been a christian, you will learn something new about "How to Live out the Bible."

In Colossians, we are taught to put Christ first In Everything. Everything we do, everything we say, and every relationship we have. The only way to do this is by trying harder and abiding by Christ. This week will talk about what things we are to put Christ first and how to actually see that happen.
We are learning to put Christ First in everything. Our purpose in life though is greater than just living a life on this planet. We are also meant for eternal things. We will continue to learn from Colossians as we learn how to practically live today for things to come in eternity. Colossians 2:8-3:5
In the book of Colossians, the Apostle Paul makes it clear that Jesus is not merely a character in God’s story; he’s the author of that story. He’s before all things. He’s above all things. He’s first in all things. In light of who Jesus is, we are asking one simple but revolutionary question: Is Jesus merely important to you, or is he truly first in your life?
How do you know you can trust God in the middle of your stress, anxiety, and depression? We can learn to trust God when we know who God really is.
All of us experience stress, anxiety, or maybe even depression at some point in our lives. How do we deal with it? How do we overcome it?
You weren’t created to exist in a constant state of stress. It drains your joy and leaves you anxious, burned out, and exhausted. Your purpose isn’t living in fear. Step boldly into the peace you’ll find when you learn and understand the fullness of joy we can have in Christ.
What do you want to be known for? We can be known for living a life all about ourselves, or we can be known for following the mission and plan of Christ. We will learn how Paul chose to live and finish his life.
How should a follower of Jesus handle being "canceled". How do we stay above the fray in the culture wars?
What does it mean to be empowered by the Holy Spirit and how does its presence make you an effective witness?
To be a powerful witness used by God, we need truth, humility, and passion. As Christians, we need to receive and share the truth but always in love and humility.
What are you devoted to? We spend most or all of our resources on the things we are devoted to. Learning more about Paul in chapter 18, we will discover what he is truly devoted to and what we should ultimately be devoted to as believers.
How did people become Christian in the Old Testament before Jesus?
Why does it seem like God is angry in the Old Testament?
Is drinking alcohol okay for a Christian?
Can a Christian lose their salvation?
Do animals go to heaven?
If a Christian commits suicide, is he/she still saved?
Jesus’ mission is to help people find their way back to God, and he lived out the B.L.E.S.S. practices showing us how to live that mission too. It all begins with prayer.

We have been changed this past year by God’s grace, both challenging ways, and joyful ways, remembering these things will empower us to move into the future.
At Jesus‘s birth he was given the gift of Myrrh. John 19 tells us that Jesus would later be buried in Myrrh. The world is a dark place but Isaiah 9 promises a light will be given to us and his name will be Jesus.
As we look at the gift of Frankincense, we will see that it represents the fact that Jesus is our High Priest. Because Jesus is our High Priest, we can go directly to God. We don't have to cower, be afraid, or be ashamed. We can have a direct relationship with Him knowing He understands us.
So many times it is hard to live a life full of joy because we struggle with not having enough. If we are honest, most us wrestle with this. God is a God of abundance and wants to provide for us in every way we need it.
