What's Your Story?
This story will be told in various episodes.
This is Evelyn Maybet's Story: The Beginning.
Evelyn Maybet was born in Puerto Rico to an immensely dysfunctional family. Luckily, the powers that be, removed her from there. However, she was placed and "adopted" into one that was dysfunctional, as well, just that perhaps there were a few disparities in them, but dysfunctional nonetheless. The circumstances of her birth were always clouded in mystery and much secrecy, no one ever talked about how she became a member of THE family.
The truth is that her biological family was the most horrendous there can ever be and, honestly, she was spared many barbaric situations, to say the least. Her "adoptive" parents did want and love her very much, in the beginning, however somewhere down the line those feelings changed. It's not to say that, perhaps, she was still wanted and loved but they did not know how to care for a child that was broken from the very beginning.
Evelyn suffered abuse, of different kinds, at the hands of her parents, especially her mother and her upbringing was quite painful. However, she did have some family members and friends that did love her. She lead a double life, she was one persona at home and another at school and with her friends.
This is as much detail as I can give without spoiling the story! Tune in to hear her battles, despair, troubled yet very happy times.
Love, Joy, Peace and Light!

Connections... Have you ever felt a deep connection with someone you just met? Are there a particular type of persons that are the only ones you seem to make connections with? Do you place value on a connection because of the time that's spent with the person, or perhaps how you have met and interacted with them? Or, do you think of yourself as an island, you don't need anyone, you can do everything all alone? I don't know about you, but I have been making deep connections with people I have just met or people who are not in my "circle" but I do have to deal with on a regular basis. For me is very simple, I need the connection just as much as they do.. In this episode I am covering the need that us, human beings, have for connections, what do connections mean and many other topics that have to do with connections. It is important for us to make connections with others, imperative at times. Some of the issues that are covered here were surprising to me and perhaps they will be to you as well. Stay tuned. Overall, it is all about loving one another, irrespective of anything and everything and realizing that we do need human connections in order to thrive, to achieve some of our goals, to be an important and significant active participant in this world. Let's make a difference! Love, Joy, Peace and Light! Namaste
