The Godly Woman is a podcast aimed at helping women on their journey with God. It's goal is to encourage, empower and equipt women, giving them the tools that they need to fulfill their God-given purpose and to finish well. Our prayer is that through this podcast, women will be delivered, set free and live totally for Jesus. Monique Lake-Phillip is the founder of the Godly Woman ministry. Her passion is to encourage, uplift and assist women on their journey with God.
In today's episode we talk about the tongue. It's important as children of God that we watch what we say. Not everything that comes to mind we should say. We should be mindful of the words we use not just when speaking to people but when we speak about ourselves. Life and death lies in our tongue so speak life today. Join me and let's talk about it!
In this episode, we talk about being grateful and practicing gratitude daily. Sometimes we get so caught up with the busyness of life that we forget to stop and tell God thanks. Gratitude should start when we wake up on mornings. We should thank God for the small things in life, we should look over our lives and be grateful for every answered prayer and we should take steps daily to be grateful. In today's episode we talk about trusting the process. We often forget or maybe we just dont know, what it looks like when we are moving from one stage/season to the next. Stay on your path and stop looking at what everyone else is doing and wanting to do it too. When you fail to trust the process your purpose becomes a burden. In this episode we talk about Music. Music has the ability to either heal us when it comes from God or hurt us when it comes from the enemy. It can influence us a great deal. Remember, the devil does not possess the ability to heal you. When you listen to certain secular musicials their songs and stories might seem relatable but healing only comes from the lord. Join me and let's talk about it!
In this episode, we talk about faith. Faith is the foundation if our life as Christians. If you have faith you can move mountains. However, how many of us are afraid to stand before our mountains? We look at our mountains and we want to cry, we feel anxious. Remember, the opposite of faith is fear. Join me in this episode where we do a deep dive on faith.

Today Monique shared on what she has been up to since leaving for a break and gave us a quick life update. In this episode we talk about our Cave season. Sometimes God has us in a season where we are out of our natural element. A season where our current and expected position is removed. David in the cave didn't mean he would never be king or he was a coward. It didn't mean he was weak or stupid. We need to separate ourselves from the supernatural work of God. Do you know that there is purpose in pain? Some of you are running from discomfort and pain when God wants to birth purpose in you through it. In todays episode I encourage you to go to God instead of everyone else with your issues. I encourage you to also not be afraid of pain as God wants to use it to fulfill purpose in you. Join me!

As Christians we try our best to live a holy life but our flesh is always at war with our spirit. Can we win this war on our own? Join me and let's talk about it!
