What is holding you? What is keeping you from joy, peace, and the richness of God's blessings? Sometimes it can feel like we're trapped and surrounded on all sides, but that doesn't mean the feeling will last forever. Remember: objects in the mirror are closer than they appear. Your victory, your breakthrough, your miracle-is closer than it appears!

Hello, Mama. Happy Birthday! I wanted to talk about Proverbs 31 and the power of a woman in God's eyes. I've also added a little song at the end that I wrote. Here are the lyrics: (I don't own the rights to this music, so this is coming down in like a day lol credit to : MLB Productions)

Take my hand

Walk with me

You’re the woman I depend on

Who I want to be

There’s no me

Without you

I wanna see you happy mama

Wanna see your dreams come true

And when they do?

You taught me how the rise from the pain

Not to hide from my pain

Now I’ll never be the same

When your dad left this world

It almost made me go insane

But thanks to you and your love

We are facing better days

And we made it through the fire

Even when the flames got high

I looked and you never left my side

Its me and its you, and we got our battle cry

You’ll always be my rose til I die

Take my hand

Walk with me

You’re the woman I depend on

The heart inside of me

There’s no me

Without you

I wanna see you happy mama

Wanna see your dreams come true

And when they do?

Remember when we lived in the park

Or When I wanted to go out

And you’d have a change of heart

Or even when we’d shop

Fashion Metro, Citi Trends, yeah

They had the best tops

Remember all those men

Who tried to call you out

And when they noticed me

I’d turn around and give the meanest pout

I’ll always have your back

And that’s without a doubt

We gon ride it til the beat go out

Go Adrienne

Its your birthday

I know its hard right now

But its your birthday

I may not be right there now

Its still your birthday

And ima always hold you down

And its your birthday

Go mama

Its your birthday

Love yourself

Cause its your birthday

Its another year

That God has blessed you

Don’t take it for granted

It’s your birthday, birthday

Independent woman

She can do it by herself

She always got her own

She don’t need nobody else

She give you a smile

When you try to give her hell

In the end she could always raise hell

Phoenix in my eyes

Even from the ashes I always saw you rise

Black girl magic, yeah we’ll always be tight

Even if we argue, everything will be alright

And that’s just how it is

Cause its me and its you and we got our battle cry

Ima always be your rose until we die

Go mama its your birthday

I love you its your birthday

I miss you its your birthday

I still got the better walk on your birthday

God calls us to focus on that which is higher. Higher than our troubles, our finances, our jobs, and any other things we seem to distract ourselves with and idolize. 1 Peter reminds us that we have an inheritance that doesn't perish or fade when we emulate the holiness of Jesus Christ. So who is God and why must we be like him?

Galatians 5 reminds us of the importance of walking by the Spirit, which bears the fruit of love, joy, kindness, and forbearance. How do we walk with the Spirit when Satan seems to keep us off our feet? We find the answer on our knees.

God heals us physically, but God's greatest gift is spiritual health. Because of his son, we have all gained spiritual healing through the forgiveness and cleansing of our sins. The wager for sin is death, but we have life in Jesus Christ. This is important to remember, especially today, when illness and disease are rampant.

Easter is a time when we read and sing about Jesus' death and resurrection, but why don't we reflect on the weight Jesus felt when he was strung on the cross? He cries out to his father "My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?". Why did Jesus, the one who warned and prophesied that this would happen, suddenly feel abandoned and forsaken? The answer has to do with his love for you.

Where are you investing? How are you spending your valuable resources: your time, your energy, and your money? God wants to pour blessing after blessing unto our laps, and all he asks is that we invest in Him. This can be hard for us to do, especially in difficult times like this, so how can we make worthy and honorable investments to God in our time of need?

I wanted to offer up my story and my testimony. It's filled with mistakes, paralyzing fears, sickness, disappointment, and pain but also light, love, passion, joy, and miracles. God has been my redeemer and has pulled me from the ledge many times. Some of you may be on the ledge now. God is there for you, always. He's already working for you. His love is boundless. I'm praying for you. Send me your stories, comments, and testimonies.

It's so difficult to be motivated in this time. We can feel helpless, small, insignificant, and unfocused. What does God want us to know about times of darkness? He promises to be the light that shines in our bleakest moments. This was an urgent word from Him. I got a bit excited, but it's only because I know that he always brings hope and peace in the middle of the storm. Patience is key.
