We learn a little more about Julia and the lengths that she and Winston have to go through just to be able to see each other. A LOT of discussion spurred on by the book this week, even before we get to the book.

Chapter 10 of 1984, Winston and Julia sneak out to a secluded spot in the countryside, away from all the hidden microphones, and Roo discusses the state of privacy laws in Australia. (Disclaimer: Roo is not a lawyer or trained beyond basic health law, this is based on very much a lay person's general understanding of possible legislative structures in place).
