This week we have special guest Bryant, who is Marcus’s brother, who asked to be on the show to troll Marcus and specifically bet against Marcus’s tips because Marcus has been pretty consistently losing on the show.
Aussie Degens Comedy Sports Gambling Show is recorded live, where 3 hosts competitively gamble against each other. We were live discussing the weeks punting on AFL/NRL and our gambling results for the weekend.
Some key points:
With the draw for Collingwood and Richmond, they should play half of each song or both songs at the same time.
Melbourne Storm didn’t score for about 50 mins after scoring 3 tries in the first 35 mins, they took a 2 point penalty to sure up the game with 6 mins to go so I thought they’d just run out the game and the game was fucked but no they managed to score an otherwise meaningless try. We also got fucked on the odds on this cause it was 1.75 when we bet and then right before the game it went out to 2.15 when I bet and there was no real reason for it.

AFL is back and we got a man from Ireland to come on the show to bet on it with our money, he has no idea about either AFL or NRL but he's betting with our money on it. We recap a rollercoaster of a week in gambling, with the NRL off to a flying start and Sunday destroying our souls.

As always Marcus was late, this time it was unfortunately he failed their temperature check, so we will see if they can pass the second one.
James suggests we should switch up the podcast to be just us live streaming competitively driving a bus on bus simulator cause that's about the level of our gambling skills.
On Thursday Marcus predicted the Roosters would win by 40-0+ except he didn’t bet it so even though he won he didn’t take it properly and so even when he wins he loses. Though he still lost due to being screwed by multis.
Marcus calls out the NRL.
We planned to demand that the online bookie refund Marcus’s multis due to the NRL saying the call was wrong.
Fox League announced Cam Smith's final conversion was for all the degenerates out there, which made us quite proud.
Discussion about whether we derisk mega multis when we can, could easily have bet 100-200 on Newcastle at 3.7 to offset the potential 1k we have if it got up and the other.
Marcus is banned from multis. Except we have bets on this episode and that changes things.
A lot of our bets came in-either through the odds moving or the line moving which says that we are doing well despite the results.
Absolutely fucking ridiculous that you cant challenge if it’s a forward pass even if youre not challenging the forward pass.

We follow up with the supermarket guy about his bet, he doesn't remember giving it to us, he doesn't have any tips until we force one out of him.

NRL is back and our guest last week who doesn't even know what the NRL is, managed to have a pretty solid result on her NRL gambling bets on last weeks podcast(go back to episode 5 if you want to check it out). Marcus is on the floor crying in the fetal position because he can't deal with the pain of his losses. We joke about how we can't go live because the NBN have been stuffing James around but in the coming weeks whenever the mess is sorted out we can. NRL Returns this week and as we continue our gambling competition, this week we have Roi Galfo, a Filipino Equality Advocate who doesn't know what the NRL is, much less ever seen Rugby League before or know who any of the teams are and we let her bet on it with our money. As you would expect this episode is filled with plenty of arguments over who will win this week, Marcus as usual has insanely degenerate multis-including a horse which he doesn't know where or when it will actually run, Andrew has taken a more measured approach and James has done his own form.
All 3 players started with $200. Andrew comes into this week with only 86.25 left after a horrid first week. Marcus has $145 only because his bets were minimal since he had 0$ in returns last week losing every bet including one live on the pod. James had $194.47 after small losses last week. We recap the weekends bets. After last weeks massive victories, this week we all lost, some more than others. Last week we weren't playing with real money, this week we are. Marcus lost every bet due to only betting on wild multi bets. Most of Marcus's bets involved the horse Milwaukee and if you saw the race it came dead last and barely walked in the end. James had one of the most epic soccer wins in Korean division 2 soccer, where his team were 2-0 down well past 70 minutes...then came back to win 2-3. Andrew bet 90% of his bankroll this week, but got lucky that one of his bets and only one, got up and so he at least has something to bet, but his bankroll has taken a major hit. Marcus and Andrew bet live on the show between each other.

We review the bets from ep 1 which had a profit on turnover of 57%! On the previous episode we gave out $3000 worth of bets between us on the first round of Bundesliga, with a profit of $1709! On episode 6 we have some fun with a self help expert over the phone who thought Marcus into their life and so James takes the opportunity to keep asking her to use those powers to win him the lottery and keep asking until he gets an answer. James also keeps throwing Marcus under the bus using awkward sound effects and recordings of Marcus saying embarrassing things. The guest eventually tells James his thinking is stupid and goes out of her way to make it clear Marcus can visit her and stay with her for free but not James.
Marcus tries to salvage the interview and keep it going through normal conversation but James keeps trying to get to the point, can she wish for James to win the lottery.
