Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. There is a little known provision in federal law that President Trump may use to radically reduce the size of the federal government bureaucracy, which is involved in many flatly unconstitutional actions. While it is almost impossible to fire a federal bureaucrat, this particular law specifies that if a bureaucrat has been furloughed for 30 days or more, he may be terminated at will. Well, the shutdown is coming right up on 30 days, so this is something to keep an eye on. Many federal agencies are operating with less than 10% of their normal personnel and nobody in America can tell. This has been the great secret fear of Democrats, that this shutdown will make Americans aware of how much of our government we can get along without. Maybe those fears are about to be realized. Permanently.
