Today we're going to talk about the "What if..?". Have you ever wonder what the world would be like if there's no activities related to public speaking? Maybe there will be no unity? No war? What is the origin of public speaking? Let's find out and imagine!
In this episode, we discussed our own takes about worldbuilding in creative fiction (1:20) and differentiate between lore and plot (05:26). Afterwards, we took a quick look at a couple of forms of worldbuilding itself, starting with stories that have vague plots but surprising revelations (15:06) as Respati shared an in-depth explanation of anime Yuki Yuna Is A Hero for his example (25:42). All of which makes us wonder: is the quality of the story depends on the quality of the world building? (37:26). With it, we gave some tips on how you can create a world of your own (47:24).
Sounds of Siloence is back with a new BRUH episode. Hush, be quiet, and listen close. Because Bimo, Zoltan, and Respati will tell you about our ghost stories. The stories may or may not scare you, but we will try anyway.
The podcast starts with Bimo telling his firsthand experience on ghost that haunted during his stay in Saudi Arabia, starting with a dark brown hand sticking out to mess with his room door in the middle of the night (02:59), and the horror continued as his family once saw a dark figure on his sofa (15:01). Something mysterious was also happening to his neighbor upstairs (21:48).
Moving on from Bimo's Arabian ghosts, Respati then shares his supranatural stories with his indigo friend (27:09) and a day when bad omens continued to haunt him and his friends throughout the day (32:37). Respati also tells about his experience during his trip to Mount Cikuray (43:04).
Are ghosts real anyway? Can things like that be rationalized? (47:16) Whether or not they're real, the podcast continues with Zoltan sharing his sighting of a woman in green Kebaya in the middle of the night (50:45) and when he and his friend heard a girl's weeping in his high school restroom (54:02). Lastly, Respati ended the stories by telling a closing tale of his ghost story that can actually be rationalized (01:00:00).
