1) What do you think about the first main point Pastor Jesse made regarding discovering the equity we have in heaven through our heavenly Father?
Answer: The king in Matthew 18:21-35 has enough resources to completely forgive a HUGE debt of a servant. In the same way there is enough equity set aside by your heavenly father for any challenge you may face in life.
2) What do you think about the second point Jesse made regarding being intentional to build equity with others? How do you build equity with others?
Answer: Love people around you with a whole heart. Bring your gift to the Lord and pour them out into the community. Forgive debts in the same way the king forgave the debt of his servant. Do not be like the wicked servant who would not show the same kindness shown to him.
3) What did you think about developing honor and clarity in relationships through the statement - Your thing. My thing. Our thing.
Answer: This tool helps to communicate what I am agreeing to in our relationship. We do not have an “our thing” unless both people agree to it. This tool removes assumption and false expectation that erodes healthy relationship.
4) What did you think about the four categories Jesse presented regarding relationship?
Answer a:Fourth tier is acquaintances. Third tier is associates. Second tier is friends. Inner most tier is covenant friends.
Answer b: These categories help us see where people are at in our lives and who we are building our lives with. Having this level of clarity can help us prioritize our time and who we trust as counselors and advisors for big life decisions.
Personal reflection: What do you think about the following kingdom principle: When you align yourself with heaven you get unintended blessings. When you align yourself with the evil one you get unintended curses.
Jesus wasn’t trying to perform or be great at anything. He knew the Excellent character of the Father and knew that by following Him, Kingdom would come, Excellence is the outcome! This is why we need to know the Word. It shows us “what the Father is doing”
1- Why is it so important to understand that we are a child of God? (As it relates to being excellent)
(Answer: because a son has complete access to everything the Father has!... this releases us from needing to know everything, because God knows everything and we can ask him) HE IS EXCELLENT!
2- Why do we need to know principles and patterns and not just verses and stories?
(Answer: Because much of the Bible is written historically and culturally.. we may not always find a verse or a story to answer our question, we need to see how God works, what His character is like) HIS WAYS ARE EXCELLENT!
3- What did Heather mean when she said, “gifting (ability) works, until it doesn’t!”
(Answer: Sometimes life throws things at us and we have no idea how to handle it. Our knowledge, strength and ability is often not enough... this is where we lean into God, take the back seat and ask Him to drive, we study the Word for wisdom, and lean into love)

In the Fall of 2019 The Point will be clarifying five opportunities for people to gather together and practice the root systems we are intentionally implementing into our lives. We will use these structures to gather people together in our Trellis.
It is important to understand that different types of groups create a different result. It is impossible for one group to be “one size fits all.” Each person needs to know what a specific group exists for and then ask the Holy Spirit if this is what you need to participate in right now. There are people that are discovering things in the Lord that you are going to get around, attracting you, magnetizing you to spend time with them. People are carriers of the revival the Lord wants to release into the earth. The Trellis is meant to lead people into cultivation of kingdom values. Here is a brief description of each structure in our trellis.
A. All Worshippers Gatherings: This large group is meant to bring every smaller group in the community together to worship Jesus and have very personal encounters with His love and manifest Presence. The all worshippers gathering will be the following groups: These are our Sunday worship gatherings, all church and city conferences, etc.
B. Believing Believers workshops/classes: This gathering is meant to point to take deeper in nuanced courses, classes, and workshops that will be focused in specific areas of our faith in Jesus being developed.
C. Community Life Groups: The Life Groups will be for families and friends in group sizes of 10-12 people and will gather in homes in and around the city. These groups exist so people can grow together in a home to foster deeper relationship. We have identified three different ways that these Life Groups will gather:
· Interest.This could be that you want to gather the artists and go deeper in relationship with people interested in the arts, sports, intellectual, entrepreneurs, etc.
· Life stage. Groups may want to meet around people in their own life stage: College age. Family life. Baby Boomers. Middle School. High School.
· Geographical area. Groups may want to meet with their neighbors who live right next to them and cultivate relationship in an area around their homes.
d. Discipleship Groups. These discipleship groups are powerful opportunities for people in the community to meet and dive into the word of God, invite the power of the Holy Spirit to illuminate the Word of God and encounter vulnerability in a small group of 2-4 people.
e. Encounter Jesus in the secret place. This is the point of everything we are about here at The Point J. The value of encountering the Lord in the secret place is what gave Jesus so much connection to the Father. Every system and structure at The Point is meant to lead people to the place of encountering Jesus in the secret place of your heart. This is where personal revival occurs. Without personal revival there can be no corporate revival or outpouring.
