Its been all about Kourt Zouma this week. The France defender has been widely condemned after a video emerged of him dropping, kicking and slapping the pet. He has since apologised and been fined two weeks’ wages – understood to be in the region of £250,000 – as well as losing his sponsorship deal with Adidas.
Zouma remains under investigation by the RSPCA after his two cats were taken into the care of the charity, with two of West Ham’s sponsors having withdrawn their support for the club.
On this episode, we discuss calls for the player to be further banished and his contract terminated.

After five league games, Chelsea's only blemish – and only conceded goal – was a penalty in a 1-1 draw at Anfield, a match Chelsea ended with 10 men. At the heart of this success has been that impregnable wall at the back, which has now amassed an improbable 24 clean sheets in 36 games in all competitions. All of which raises a number of questions. What exactly are Chelsea getting so right? How on earth are you meant to score against them? And are Chelsea actually a defensive team, or simply a team that are excellent at defending? Does the team need to attack more?

What are new the rule changes?
The video assistant referee system was introduced to the Premier League in 2019 to review "clear and obvious errors" in four game-changing incidents: goals, penalties, straight red cards and mistaken identity.
Despite criticism of the system from managers, VAR stays for 2021-22 but there have been adjustments.
