I'm very inspired by dance and it's an honour to help people with their dance journey in-person & online! π
I currently compete on the west coast swing European competition circuit together with teaching and DJing at events in Europe.
I'm honoured to have been awarded the "West Coast Swing UK" Dancers' Favourite Male Dancer Award three times! π
I love dance and learning other styles including "street dance/open dance", contemporary dance, hip hop, pilates and yoga. I'm also loving learning ballet!
I run West Coast Swing Lisbon dance school!
Iβm native British and am currently living in sunny Portugal!
π In this episode, I got to chat to my dear friend Eszter MΓ³ricz!
Eszter is talented dancer who is originally from Hungary and is now living in Switzerland. She works full time as an architect and is currently competing at Allstar level in west coast swing!
Iβm a big fan of her dancing - the way she expresses herself through music, her poise, grace and movement quality. As you can tell, Iβm inspired by her!ππΌ
In this episode of The Dance Show, we talk about lots of things including Eszterβs story, tips on how to grow as a dancer, injury issues and recommendations Eszter would give to people from her experience of dance.

Otis works in the Startup and Venture capital industry and has just launched a company with his business partner, called Vybebrand.

π In this first episode, I had to pleasure of speaking to Alvaro Lopes, Director of, Jazzy Dance Studios, Portugal's largest dance school (and possibly the largest in Iberia!).
The school teaches a wide range of classes including hip hop, ballet, contemporary, dancehall, jazz, salsa, bachata, salsa, kizomba and more!
He teaches Pop Dance and Hip Hop at the school - I am a student of his and love his classes!
Alvaro reveals his dance journey and discusses tips on growing as a dancer. This is helpful for all dance styles including hip hop, west coast swing, salsa, ballet and contemporary!
