Vic grew up in privilege, chasing success and finding it in business ventures across Europe and America. By his early thirties, he was a millionaire. But behind the wealth and reputation, Vic was a functioning alcoholic whose life was controlled by money, work, and addiction. When he moved to Dallas, success followed him again, but so did brokenness. What looked like the dream life on the outside was crumbling on the inside.
Even after surrendering his life to Jesus in 1986, Vic faced new battles. Years of abusing painkillers led him into a spiral of addiction, depression, and seven long years locked away in despair, convinced God had forsaken him. Suicidal thoughts haunted him, and with his family history marked by tragedy, it seemed his story might end the same way. Yet, through the prayers of many and God’s relentless love, Vic encountered a miracle — one day, the cloud of darkness simply lifted. Freedom had come.
Now at 73, Vic lives bold, joyful, and free. He has been healed from addiction, restored in faith, and walks daily as a living testimony that Jesus rescues, redeems, and restores.
