BIO: Mechanical Pressure is a musical project from Ukraine that specializes on electronic music. Being initially a drum&bass project, Mechanical Pressure followed the global tendency for dubstep and released a few EPs and one LP that concentrated on deep & dark dubstep sound.

Later, he decided to cover even more musical ground, and started experimenting with a variety of electronic genres such asDnB, breaks, dubstep, techno and experemental electronica, etc. His music made its way to many radio stations worldwide.

In 2013, Mechanical Pressure took part in creating the soundtrack for the Russian horror TV series "Vyzhit' Posle" ("To Survive After").

Also Alexey (Mechanical Pressure) is the resident artist of BreakBeatZone (Russian Breakbeat Community). His production skills were praised by Future Funk Squad, BETA, Mesmer, etc.

Code Rising is an American Electro duo that was formed in 2010 and consists of Matt Lancaster (South Carolina) and Ryan Phillips (South Florida). The duo formed after a few successful song collaborations. Over the years, Code Rising has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in the EDM and Electro scene; performing live mainly in Miami and around the Florida coasts.

After a healthy line of digital releases, 2013 saw the release of their first full-length CD "Dissemination Protocol" and was released on their own label, Propulsion Recordings. More recently, they have had two wax EP releases; "The Sequential Mind" and "Quantum Data Volume 1". The former being the duo's first solo wax record and the latter being a collaboration with Florida's own Analog To Future (Rich Hutchings).

Presently, Code Rising is crowd-funding their new 4-track wax release, "The Mixer Fixer EP" through Qrates.com with a goal of 100 preorders that has to be met for the record to be pressed. Meet Joey Delzingaro. A DJ whose story mirrors many a successful DJ’s, maybe even yours…

A child of the 80s, he begins DJing at 13 years old, drawn to the breakbeats and floor wars of the b-boy scene. He meets and is mentored by freestyle impresario Ziggy Gonzalez (producer of Coro’s #1 "Where Are You Tonight”), travels from NYC to Miami promoting for labels such as Micmac Records and Cutting Records, and eventually returns to Orlando where he establishes himself as a well-respected club DJ and concert promoter.

But there’s a little more to Joey’s story: Joey is almost totally deaf.

“I was introduced to the music scene in the early 90s,” says Joey. “But I always had trouble being in a crowd. I wasn’t very social because of my hearing. I couldn’t ask everyone to repeat themselves a hundred times just so I could understand them. So I basically withdrew and suffered in silence as I watched my friends succeed in the DJ industry.”

That all changed in 2016 when a friend asked Joey if he’d consider DJing for a party. “I was a little hesitant at first but I went ahead and played at the party and that reignited a flame that was once bright.”

They said I couldn’t DJ because I couldn’t hear. But I wouldn’t listen.

Inspired anew, Joey bought two brand new turntables and a mixer and spent the next year and a half experimenting with a variety of digital setups before discovering Traktor.

“That was it for me. I learned to read waveforms while stomping my foot as a human metronome and to use amplified headphones to feel bass pressure. That allowed me to utilize what little hearing I have left to be able to mix.”

With the encouragement of childhood friend Derek Steplight aka DJ D-XTREME, Joey has since become a mainstay of the downtown Orlando club scene, regularly appearing as DJ Joey Blanco at Peek Downtown while organizing his own shows once every other month.

“After a year doing shows at Peek I met promoter Ronnie Beatty (RB3) and things started taking off. We began booking people like Rogue Planet, The Beat Mavericks, Gary Sisco and Sean Skeels,” says Joey. “I then met Joel Gray (Dj Tonik) and just a few weeks ago we had our biggest show yet with DJ Rob-E and DJ X.”

Thanks to his social media presence Joey continues to make new friends who provide well-deserved support. “After all the hard work and initiative I am now scheduled to play at The Gemini Party, which is a huge event here in Orlando, playing with legends in the industry and couldn’t be happier.”

BIO: Dmitry Yudin aka WINDOM R is a top quality producer from Russian Federation. His first release saw the face of light back in March of 2015 and it was a totally phat and wicked remix for LLUPA's “BREACH” single on RUNE RECORDINGS. The remix was followed by the rather excellent and unique sounds of “SHAOLIN JAM” EP at the end of the same month for RUNE RECORDINGS again and since then WINDOM R managed to build a really strong profile in the Breaks and Drum n' Bass scenes with some quality releases for RUSTOUT RECORDS, RUNE RECORDINGS, DUBS RECORDS, EGO SHOT RECORDINGS, DEAD FAMOUS RECORDS, XCLUBSIVE RECORDINGS, V.I.M.BREAKS, DEEP GARNET RECORDS, KIOSEK. Dima did not limit himself, and constantly experimenting with different styles of mixing their elements in the Breaks music. He is the author of the podcast BrokenWave, which sanctifies the deep, dark and atmospheric side of Breaks music. Most recently, Dima and his friends open free music label Calligraphy Recordings where release a variety of electronic music with a broken beat.

This mix is a collection of some of Berto's favorite tracks over the years.

Bio: Alberto Taboas, born October 14, 1973, at an early age Alberto grew into the love of music. In junior high school, he became part of his school's marching band. He played both the alto and tenor saxophone. As his love for music grew more and more, he started visiting clubs starting in his teenage years. Scatz, Park Avenue, and Visage were his main hangouts at that time. As he grew older, break dancing and listening to music became his favorite things to do. Starting during the 90's he was inspired by going to the club Aahz and watching other DJs perform and bring excitement to the crowd. He's most inspired by DJ D-Xtreme. Alberto spent relentless amounts of time learning the art and watching other DJs as well. In the early 90's he had a chance to play at clubs such as The Abyss, The Edge, Firestone, Cloud 9 and Infinity. "My passion for DJing never left my soul and now I'm excited to say my DJing has been brought up to another level. I'm very honored to be part of Cognitive Music. Let my dreams and journey begin".
