Welcome to our sermon series on the book of Ephesians!
In today's message, titled "You Are Blessed," we dive into Ephesians 1:3-14 to uncover the incredible spiritual blessings that God has lavished upon us. Here are a few of our main points:
We are blessed but tend not to see it because we focus on what is seen instead of unseen.
Four spiritual blessings must be embraced:

We are chosen as God’s children out of His desire.

We are redeemed by the blood of Jesus.

We are enlightened to the will of God.
-
We have the presence of God with us right now.

“Truly I tell you, anyone who doesn’t enter the sheep pen by the gate but climbs in some other way is a thief and a robber. 2 The one who enters by the gate is the shepherd of the sheep. 3 The gatekeeper opens it for him, and the sheep hear his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. 4 When he has brought all his own outside, he goes ahead of them. The sheep follow him because they know his voice. 5 They will never follow a stranger; instead they will run away from him, because they don’t know the voice of strangers.” 6 Jesus gave them this figure of speech, but they did not understand what he was telling them.
7 Jesus said again, “Truly I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep. 8 All who came before me[a] are thieves and robbers, but the sheep didn’t listen to them. 9 I am the gate. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will come in and go out and find pasture. 10 A thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I have come so that they may have life and have it in abundance.
Feast Upon The Lord!
After Jesus feeds 5000 people with a couple of fish and a few loaves of bread, many people are still only seeking Him so that they may see more miracles take place. He responds that the Israelites should be seeking Him because He is truly sent from God to save them. As they listen, he declares “I am the bread of life” and that no one will have everlasting life outside of having faith in Him. Jesus wants us to know that we should hunger for Him because he fills our spirits, not just our stomachs.

How do we feast up the Lord?
-Believe in who he is, not just what He can give
-Enjoy the things of the Lord in His presence
-Give away your desires for full dependence
-Get what you need from Him daily
We will wrap up our sermon series on #GodlyStewardship by looking at what the Bible says about how we should spend the money that He has given us.

GOD USES OUR SUFFERING TO TELL US HOW HIS WAYS ARE GREATER THAN OURS.

Things to meditate on:

Before we seek another word from God, be sure to know the word of God.

Sometimes the people of God help you recognize the voice of God.

The life-changing word that we seek can be on the other side of the invitation to speak.
How we can make this worth it in our lives:

Learn to hear God's voice more clearly by being in community with Christians who already know the voice of God.

Pay attention to the disruptions that may be God getting your attention so that you might listen more intently.

Invite God to speak into your life through prayer and meditation on the Word of God
Jesus is the sweet aroma of justice that comes as he dies for our sins. The aroma is one that has been there since the foundations of the world were established. Jesus was precious at birth but what made him worthy of worship is that He was God in flesh, born to die for those who need him.

Our text is Genesis 6:5-8
5 When the Lord saw that human wickedness was widespread on the earth and that every inclination of the human mind was nothing but evil all the time, 6 the Lord regretted that he had made man on the earth, and he was deeply grieved. 7 Then the Lord said, “I will wipe mankind, whom I created, off the face of the earth, together with the animals, creatures that crawl, and birds of the sky—for I regret that I made them.” 8 Noah, however, found favor with the Lord.
16 The eleven disciples traveled to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had directed them. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped,[d] but some doubted. 18 Jesus came near and said to them, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go, therefore, and make disciples of[e] all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember,[f] I am with you always,[g] to the end of the age.”

All over the world, there are billions of Christians that are and have been worshipping Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, rising from the grave and displaying God's resurrection power.

Whether you have been a Christian for years or you are not a Christian at all, you should look at the resurrection as a factual event that impacts your everyday life. God does something special for us through the resurrection and that's what we'll talk about this morning.

How do you treat the tests of your faith in life? The writer of the book of James shows that our attitude, approach, and ability to see our struggles as tests instead of tragedies. Go with us as we walk through James 1:2-4 (CSB) in our series called 'Live It Out'
In a time where the church is scattered around the world yet confined to their personal spaces, we are tempted to relax while we believe the Bible is calling us to put our faith to work. Take a look at our first video message from our new series "Live It Out"
Paul's example of joyful sacrifice in his ministry gives us a blueprint for how we should be proud of being servants of God and the gospel.
Paul starts off his letter to the Colossians with thanksgiving and praise because the Colossian church is both fruitful and faithful. We can take away the fact that faithful and fruitful churches that can’t be ignored are produced by the life-changing message of the gospel.
We are constantly tempted to pray like so many other people, yet as followers of Christ, we must pray to God about God and for God’s purpose.
- Pray with confidence to our Holy Father.
- Pray with a heart that pleas for God’s provision.
- Pray with an assurance of God’s preservation.
The prayer that Jesus gives the disciples to pray is one that is focused on God and His Kingdom. The Father and His Family. The Messiah and His mission. God and His Glory. Is this how every prayer should sound? Maybe not. But every prayer should be God-focused. Every prayer should reflect that you know the one that you go to intimately, you need him desperately and you know that he’s saved you perfectly.
The second practice of religion that Jesus highlights in Matthew 6 is the practice of prayer. Jesus wants his followers to be God-Centered worshippers that don't perform to seem holy or neglect God do things without the heart for God.
We launched a new sermon series called #GospelSongs which will lead highlight the gospel through the Psalms. Our first week focused on Psalm 93 and the refrain "The Lord Reigns".
Our family wrapped up a series focused on the Sermon on the Mount, called #CheckYourHeart with a message regarding Jesus' demand for us to love our enemies.
This video gives the original vision for the church plant that has grown into Identity Church.
