Restore Church is a growing group of friends and neighbors from all over the North Shore, Mass metro area who have two things in common: a love for God and a passion to serve their community. The lead role of the story is Jesus. We come together in unity because of Him!

3rd and final part of our "Salty and Lit" Series. Now that we know what salt and light are and how they can be effective for our Christian walk how can we use them in our every day lives to impact people with them?

Jesus is the one that calls us the light of the World as He is the light of the world. Because of this, we ought to be representing Him well. Our light does NOT come from the light that people give us but rather from the one Christ has given us.
This week we began a new sermon series “Salty and Lit.” To begin it Pastor Javier explains the core idea underneath all of what Jesus meant when he called us the salt of the earth. He instructed the church that too much information with no transformation is in fact of no benefit to us. Much of the reason why there is no transformation is because there is no accountability.
This week The Bishop of Restore Church, Dr. Emilio Alvarez, blessed us with a powerful reminder of what the heart of a missional church consists of. He spoke about the three ways that Jesus calls us to abide in Him and how we remain.
This week Pastor Javier explains how we are saved by faith alone - but works show the world that faith that saved us. In other words, Works do not save us, but we are saved to work. John Calvin said “We are saved by faith alone, but the faith that saves us is never alone.”
A local church is much like a puzzle. They're all a little different. They come in all shapes and sizes. Some puzzles have more pieces than others. This week we discovered how we, the church universal and local one can learn from a puzzle.
How fantastic would it be to be adopted by the rich and the famous? We could have their fame, financial security and other things that come with that life. But how much greater would it be to be adopted by a King? This week pastor Javier speaks to us about a man called Mephibosheth who was adopted by King David and how we too are adopted by a King.
We know the identity of Jesus Christ and who He is, to us but do we truly know our identity? Do we know who we are IN Christ? Not until we understand who we are, we will won't be able to accomplish our destiny.
What if God doesn't answer our prayers the way we expect Him to? What if our will is not aligned with God's? Will we be bitter and give up living for Him? Even if through our eyes the worse happens, it would ultimately be for our good and for God’s glory. We need to not just believe in God. They believed Him enough to put our trust in Him.
After all that Paul went through in his life, he still had the ability to say that he would not lose heart. How can we too get to that place with everything that is weighing us down? This week Pastor Javier shows us through scripture the secret of not losing heart.
Although the fundamental sermon is that sheep are dumb and stupid. This week Pastor Javier challenges us to consider how smart sheep really are. That God doesn’t compare us to sheep because we’re dumb, but the reality is that God uses this metaphor as a term of endearment to his sheep.
In This weeks sermon Bro. Jorge Santiago brings a word focused on the power of losses and the importance of investing on a foundation in Christ. It is in the pursuit of coming into the knowledge of who Christ is, that we can truly come into a reality that brings the realization of just how ineffective building and pursuing life’s goals without Christ as the true foundation is.
Pastor Javier explains to us what the "Great Commission is" and how it relates to us in our time. He identifies the need to further the Missio Dei (Mission of God) and how we as a church can join God in this Mission.
