Projects are prophecies, prophecies are projects is a series of talks with artists, curators, writers and other creatives. In the first season, you can hear Stine Deja, Cécile B. Evans, Luca Lo Pinto and Jeanne Graff talk about the future through their own practices. The goal is to understand how they approach imagination and creation. Talks are in English and are moderated by Natalija Paunić, in partnership with British Council and supported by LUX and Eugster || Belgrade. Sound edit: Žarko Komar, visuals: Stefan Unković
The artist Cécile B. Evans talks about some of the ideas and details from her practice (among other things), within the broader context of the podcast series: the futuristic qualities of contemporary art.
Curator and writer Jeanne Graff reads a chapter from her book, with her baby by her side, and then goes on to talk about how she approaches writing, curating and gallery spaces.
The artist Stine Deja talks about some of her works and the ideas behind them, meditating on different versions of our world in the future, the human, transhuman and non-human.
The curator Luca Lo Pinto talks about his experience with MACRO in 2020 and his vision for art institutions in the future.
