When you become a follower of Jesus you begin a journey of complete transformation from the inside out: a new life, as a new creation in Him. Transformation does not happen by simply deciding to do or not do something, because our past life without Jesus is firmly planted in our mind. We are transformed by allowing God to change the way we think. The Life Transformation Discipleship Plan is designed for just that: changing the way you think - transformation.
Do not let petty issues ruin the joy that God has for you. Instead, focus on the forgiveness that gives you joy. We have an unshakable faith in Jesus!
God made Jesus the authority over all things for the benefit of the church and with the Holy Spirit in us, we can fulfill God's purpose. Together with our faith in Jesus, we can stand against Satan and bring glory to God!
Today we learn about the power that God has over the demons. In Mark 1:24-28, we read that evil spirits tremble against the power of God and can't disobey the orders given by Jesus. Demons will do what they can to scheme against you and deceive you, but the power of God's word is much stronger than them.
We are not alone! Just as it says in the daily reading, " I recognize that I am not alone, God sends His angels to help me." God sends His angels to you wherever you go, so you will always be protected.
Today is all about prayer and the help we receive when we pray to God. Tell God everything and completely surrender before Him, and He will send His angels to guide you!
When we pray to God, He sends His angels to protect us against the enemy. Pray for God to have His angels give you the guidance and support you need!

Welcome to a new week in our Life Transformation Bible! In Hebrews 1:5-14, it describes the purpose of God's angels and how they care for people who inherit salvation. This is a strong message about God's power in us and how we can use it to fight the enemies that threaten our faith.
Throughout this week, we have read that Satan has the power to destroy everything good that God is doing in us. Although Satan is strong, Jesus is Stronger. Satan's power is limited, and God's power has no limit. Trust in God and remain faithful to Him and He will give you victory!
We can all resist Satan with the word of God. Look at John 4: 1-13, the devil did all he could to tempt Jesus, but Jesus used the scripture against the devil to make him leave. Use Jesus as your example and let the scriptures be your weapon against the attacks of Satan.
Satan will be destroyed. Just like it says in the Daily Reading: God's ultimate victory will be when Jesus returns and casts Satan into the lake of fire for eternity. Jesus is my victory and because of that, we can live without fear.
Satan is an enemy of Jesus, His Church, the good news of Christ, the Cross, and us. Satan will do all he can to ruin our lives and take away the peace that God has given us. Take a moment and pray for God's protection and wisdom to stay strong against the enemy.
Jesus Has Won Victory! Although Satan is real, we never have to fear him because Jesus defeated Satan on the cross. The Holy Spirit that lives in us gives us the power to resist Satan and his attacks against us. Do not live in fear because Jesus has already won!
The battle is real. We have all faced a battle against the enemy, but God will always show us a way out. Read through the scriptures and prepare for the battles ahead because Satan wants to kill, steal, and destroy everything good.
Throughout the week, we are going to read about Jesus' victory over Satan. Today we understand that Satan is real, but we don't have to live in fear because Jesus gives us strength. Learn from the scriptures in today's reading and pray for God to help you stand strong against Satan.

Jesus was faced with temptation just as we have been. Because He has experienced the same things we have, he can teach us and help us to resist. Jesus is our example for staying faithful and not giving into temptation.
Anyone who belongs to Christ has the Holy Spirit living in them, which gives us life! The Holy Spirit raised Jesus from the dead, and you have been given life because you have been made right with God.
The result of giving in to temptation is death. We must stay focused on God to keep us from falling into temptation. The enemy will do all he can to take us from God's peace, but we have the tools we need to resist him. Stay focused on the word of God and surround yourself with others that can help you when you feel tempted.
How is your Daily reading helping you so far through this week? Yesterday's reading was about God showing you a way out of temptation, and now we see the Holy Spirit will lead us through that path. Focus on scripture and use it against the enemy!
Today we read that temptations will come and they do for everyone however, with the peace of Jesus, my heart and mind are protected. In 1 Corinthians, we read whenever we face temptations, God will show us a way out. Today pray for God's protection as you face temptation!
Today we are looking at how to resist the devil. One powerful reference from the scripture today comes from Proverbs 3. It tells us to depend on God so that we can follow the path He has for us. Our own will isn't strong enough to do things on our own we must seek God's will and trust in Him!
Welcome to a new reading! This week we are learning to resist temptation, and we start by reading that Satan is the enemy. As hard as it is to resist the enemy, we must know that God is strong and He makes me strong! Will you take the step to resist temptations?
In today's scripture, we read that God didn't give us grace and new life to sin again. He gave us grace so that we can live a new life away from sin. Don't spend the freedom you were given by sinning, spend it growing your relationship with Him and spreading the news of Jesus!
Not only were we given freedom from grace, but there are benefits of His grace. Read Hebrews 4:15-16 in this passage, which says that we can come boldly to the throne and receive help from God when we need it most. God's grace isn't something we have to earn it is given to us. Pray for God's grace to help you in whatever you need!
There are no rules or regulations to God's grace, there is just Jesus. We were given God's grace because it was His plan all along for us to spread the good news of Jesus. Today I live and move to the rhythm of God's grace.
Today's scripture is a powerful message from Paul. He talks about God's grace and how it works best in weakness. He then says he will only boast about his weakness so that God can work in him. We are not perfect, and we should embrace it so that God can continue to work in us through His grace!
In today's reading, we see that the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ. We have been given freedom and a new life through Jesus. Spend time in prayer thanking God for the gift of His grace and choosing to live in it.
Today we read that God is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the Blood of His Son. Our sin cannot compete with the abundant amount of Grace God has given to us. Today as you read, give thanks to God for saving you from sin and giving you freedom!
Today I live and move to the rhythm of God's grace! We see in Romans 5:21 that God's grace rules over sin and gives us eternal life in Jesus. Today, pray that you experience God's grace or pray that you continue to live in the grace He has given you.
At the end of our reading about Serving, make this your application from the week. Today I will express Jesus' love through service, and I will thank God today for those who have served me as an expression of Jesus' love.
You can follow along with the next daily reading by requesting a Life Transformation Bible by emailing office@alivechurch.com.
In today's scripture, read through Romans 6:18-19, which explains the topic of "Slave to Righteousness." We don't serve because we hope to be accepted by God. After all, he already loves us. We serve to honor Him and bring Him glory!
In scripture, we read that leaders must be servants and take the lowest rank. Jesus came not to be served but to serve others in love. Once you serve and love your neighbor as yourself, you will fulfill God's commands!
Because Jesus was willing to go to the cross and die for our sins, he gave us freedom. Choose to use your freedom to serve others in love and glorify God. Serving others in love will not only glorify God but bring you personal energy and joy!
Yesterday we read about humbling ourselves to serve others as Jesus did. That goes hand in hand with having an attitude to serve others. Don't try to impress others, and don't focus only on your interests. We must care for the interests of others to take on the attitude of Jesus.
Today we read in scripture Jesus humbling himself and washing the feet of his disciples. By doing this, Jesus gave us an example to follow. We must change our attitudes to match his and serve others in love!
Welcome to our daily reading on serving! This week, we are changing our minds to think like this: I will use the freedom I have in Jesus to serve others in love. Read through the scripture today and see how Jesus served others with love.
It's the final day of this reading about personality. What have you learned throughout the week? How are you going to honor God with your personality? Join the Life Transformation 2022 group on Facebook and tell us.
Today we focus on renewing our personality. In Matthew 5, we read "Let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father." Let your personality reflect the masterpiece that God made you to be!
God has given me a unique personality to honor Him. He created me in His image with a distinct disposition and temperament. I am His masterpiece created to do the good things He planned for me to do in Jesus.
Celebrate the personalities God has made in others! "Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other." Romans 12:10.
I will not be critical of the personalities He created in others, rather I will appreciate, celebrate and value them. God loves the diversity He has created in the personalities He has distributed, and this was done for the sake of His body the Church.
Today we look into the topic of "Why I'm Misunderstood." We read in 1 Corinthians 12:6 that God works in different ways but God works in all of us. We all have different personalities but we are all made to honor God.
God has given me a unique personality to honor Him. He has created my personality, my emotions, desires, and will to serve the purpose and plan He has for me.

Today we encourage you to learn more about who Jesus is. Look through the scripture today and make the decision to live in the freedom Jesus has for us!
Today's focus is to know that God has a purpose for you and that it is to live a rich and satisfying life. To live in that purpose, we must do what Jesus said to do. Love and then serve. Service is the outward expression of love and the way to express the appreciation of other's worth! Make that your prayer today, that God would reveal areas for you to serve!
My faith is worthless, my words are hollow, and my beliefs unfounded unless they are accompanied by faith in action through service. So today I put my faith into action!
Welcome to the new weekly reading! Throughout the week, we are focusing on using our freedom to serve others. Every day, think of how you can serve others with the freedom given to you by Jesus.

I am a new creation in Christ; He has given me His power to obey Him, and I will stand strong as I do. Put on the armor of God every day to stand strong against the enemy!
Today I choose to obey Jesus by loving God with all my heart, mind, soul, and strength and by loving others. As I obey His command to love God and others, I experience His rewards!
My life is more than just religious lip service; my actions are a reflection of the new creation I've become in Christ. Today take some time to learn how you can act on living out your faith!
Today I choose to obey Jesus' commandments. Let's focus on keeping our eyes on Jesus, who perfects our faith! Read through and pray on the scripture references today to put our mind, heart, and soul on Jesus!
I am a new creation in Christ. As a new creation, I have been given a clean slate, a fresh start, and a new nature. Today, learn and understand that you are a new creation!

As I learn and grow, I will help others learn and grow. I need only give them what I've learned from my journey and I will continue to grow as I do.
Who is someone you can teach what you've learned? Pray and ask God to find someone you can help grow!

Jesus is training, preparing, and equipping me to make a difference in my world and persevere to the end. I am resolved to learn and grow daily.
In order to grow in our faith, we must remain in Jesus. Because of this, I choose to live in the necessary discipline and effort because growth requires hard work.
Be intentional with your thoughts and actions so that you will continue to grow in your faith! I am resolved to learn and grow daily.
God's power is our strength! Read through 2 Corinthians 12:9, which says that His power works best in weakness. So look to your weaknesses as a place God can make you strong!
I will be a person who grows daily so that my faith is a dynamic part of every aspect of my life resulting in good fruit and maturity.
Welcome to the last week of our Life Transformation Bible! This week we are focusing on this topic: I am resolved to learn and grow daily.
Overall this week, we have learned to work hard for the Lord so that we can get our ultimate reward which is God's inheritance. How are you going to change the way you live to work for God?
We are encouraged to work for God and not be idle. Growth and good deeds don't come from being idle. So work hard and honor God in what you do!
Working for God is important but we must also take the time to rest. Just like God rested after creating the world, we must rest as we work for God!
I will practice excellence in my work whatever the compensation; my ultimate reward is my inheritance in Christ! Follow along in the daily readings by emailing office@alivechurch.com for a free Life Transformation Bible.
As a follower of Jesus, everything I do reflects Jesus. Because of this truth, I find work meaningful regardless of how tedious it may seem. So as you're reading these topics, remember: Whatever I do, I will work as though I am working for the Lord!
I will always do my work in a way that honors God. By doing this it will show the people around you how to work in an ethical manner. Showing others the good work you do for God can encourage them to do the same.
Whatever I do, I will work as though I am working for the Lord. This week, start to shift your mindset to think of your work as though it's not for people but God himself!
In John 10:10, it tells us that the enemy wants to kill, steal, and destroy but God's purpose is to give us a rich and satisfying life. So follow the plans God has crafted for you. You are His masterpiece!
God's plans for our future are good so that we will have hope! As God's masterpiece, we have a role to live a life that's to honor Him with our thoughts, decisions, and actions.
We are able to rely on God's power because it is the same power that raised Jesus from the dead. That same power is working in us because we are His masterpiece.
I have a role in living life as the masterpiece God created me to be through thoughts, decisions, and actions. As I obey Him in these areas of my life, He releases the masterpiece potential He placed within me!
We are a new creation in Jesus! 2 Corinthians 5:17 confirms this: "Anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!"
Today's reading shows that God has a plan for all of us to live out His will. Read through the memory verse this week, which tells us that we can do the good things He planned for us long ago!
In this week's reading, we are learning that we are God's masterpiece, not because of what we do, but because He made us to be a masterpiece.

In 1 Corinthians 15:50-55, we read that our physical bodies cannot inherit the Kingdom of God. We will be transformed so that we can spend eternity with our God in Heaven!
Hell is a place of torment, agony, hopelessness, eternal destruction, isolation, and separation from God. However, my home is Heaven - God's eternal dwelling place.
We have the choice to either listen to God's Word or not. Depending on how we use our lives will be up to God's judgment if we spend eternity with Him or not. So, use your time wisely and live on God's path that He has for you!
Since Heaven is our true home, we must focus on the things of Heaven and not earth. The things to focus on are found in Philippians 4:8.
Today we look at what we will receive in Heaven. Revelation 21:1-4 says that there will be no more pain, sorrow, death, or crying. We will be with God himself!
I will live worthy of my citizenship through the power of Christ in me. Because we are loyal to God, we will use our time here on earth to spread His word!
I rejoice today that my name is written in Heaven! Our memory verse this week is Luke 10:20. Take time to learn it and read it every day!
From this weekes reading, go back and look at what you've learned. What can you do to prepare for Jesus' return?
Jesus' return will be a promise fulfilled and a time of great celebration for all His followers! So prepare yourself and build up others for His return.
The dead and the living, those who are disciples of Jesus, will be taken to heaven. This joyous reunion will go on forever. The time or day of His return is unknown, but it is certain and near. I will live ready in anticipation of Jesus' return.
Matthew 13:31-33 says that only God knows when Jesus will return, so we must stay alert and ready for when that day comes!
Yesterday's reading taught us that Jesus' return will be obvious. Today's reading teaches us to stay away from those who tell us that He has returned. When He returns, the whole world will know that Jesus is Lord
His return will be unmistakable; no one will wonder about His identity. Read through Matthew 24:30-33 for more about Jesus' undoubted return!
This week we are discussing Jesus' return, so through this week, we are going to live ready in anticipation of Jesus' return.
It's time to invite! Be prepared to share the story with those you are inviting into the discipleship process.
Prayerfully consider what action you can take inviting those He has given you into the discipleship process with you.
Prayerfully ask God to give you the courage and tenacity that He speaks of in that chapter for those He is leading you to disciple.
As you pray for those you are to disciple, ask God to give you the opportunity to invite them into the process. Read through Luke 14:25-35 about the cost of discipline.
Share the names of those you feel led to disciple with the person discipling you and ask him or her to join you in praying for them.
Part of making a disciple is looking for people that God has made ready. As you continue to pray, pray that God prepares their hearts for this transformation!
Part of today's reading asks this: As you pray, ask God to direct you to one or two people you can take through this discipleship process.
Throughout the week, we have learned about Jesus' attitude and decided to make our attitude mirror his. Make that your goal going forward. My attitude will be the same as that of Jesus Christ!
Having the attitude of Jesus will honor and please God! Proverbs 3:6 tells us: "Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take." Take the path that pleases God and have Jesus' attitude.
Because of the Holy Spirit living in me, I can control my attitude regardless of the circumstances. Jesus has this attitude and so must I.
Having an attitude like Jesus is a continual process. It is something we must work towards every day to live by the example He set for us.
We are learning that our attitudes must reflect Jesus' attitude throughout our lives. Take a look at Matthew 20:26-28, which says that Jesus came not to be served but to serve others. That is the mentality we need. Not to be served but to serve others!
Today's topic lines up with our memory verse this week from Philippians 2:5. "You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had."
Welcome! This week we are focusing on making our attitude reflect Jesus' attitude. As a follower of Jesus and a part of His body, the Church, I choose to allow His attitude to characterize my life!
As we wrap up the week, what stood out to you? For today's topic look at our memory verse. Seek the Kingdom above all else and God will give you what you need!
The action I take to seek His kingdom above all else produces a life of righteousness. This affects everything I do and say because today and every day I will exchange my priorities for Jesus' priorities!
I will recognize I am part of God's family, the Church, and serve it well by giving of my time and energy. "When God's people are in need, be ready to help them. Always be eager to practice hospitality." Romans 12:13
In order to grow in our faith, we need spiritual nourishment. Seek out and prioritize things that will help you grow spiritually!
In today's scripture from 2 Timothy, we read to pursue God and tell everyone about the Good News even if it's difficult. In the end, we are rewarded with the crown of righteousness! So be eager to tell people how important Jesus is.
Part of prioritizing our time with Jesus is to worship Him. I will consistently look for ways to honor, represent, and remember Him.
Welcome to the new I will exchange my priorities for Jesus' priorities. Read Philippians 3:6-11 to see more about our topic today.
I will bring my heart to God to be purified so my conversations will be pure and uplifting. What did you learn about conversations that you're going to apply to your life?
The memory verse for this week applies well to today's topic. "Don't use foul language. Let everything you say be good and helpful..." Have you committed the verse to memory?
My conversations will be gentle so others will feel safe enough to share and be heard. This does not mean I will not need to speak up and sometimes say hard things, but I will always speak respectfully and lovingly.
Make it your daily goal to speak life-giving words to those around you! Talk to others about the good Jesus has done and will do in their lives. Honor God and encourage unity with your speech!
As a follower of Jesus, I do not have the right to say whatever I desire. I must be filled with self-control and grace before any words leave my mouth. Again, refer to the memory verse and take time to memorize it so you can be prepared for any conversation!
The words from my mouth will be uplifting, encouraging, kind, and gracious. Read through James 3:1-12 about controlling the tongue.
In this week's reading, we are learning to honor God and encourage unity with our speech! Take the time to memorize the verse Ephesians 4:29 each day for this reading.
In Colossians 3:20-21, it says don't be angry with your kids or they'll be discouraged. We need to encourage our kids to grow in their faith which requires patience.
God disciplines us because He loves us! We need to discipline kids in the same way God disciplines us as His kids, with love.
In Ephesians, it says: "I have not stopped thanking God for you. I pray for you constantly, asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom and insight so that you might grow in your knowledge of God." Pray that prayer over your kids or the younger generation in your life!
Just as we are encouraged to grow, we should encourage kids to grow! Take the time to share the good news with children in a way they can understand. I will live with a childlike faith.
To go further from yesterday's topic, today, we start with showing children the Gospel. Psalm 78:4 says don't hide the truths and tell children the glorious deeds of our Lord, about His power, and His mighty wonders.
Today's topic applies to all of us. We can all teach kids the scriptures so they grow up knowing God. Helping children discover their God-given purpose is the best thing we can do for the next generation!
Welcome to this week's reading about children, and today we're reading to value them. We read in Psalm 127:3-5 that children are a gift from God, and they should be treated as a reward!
The last topic in this week's reading is one of the most important. Sexual Intimacy is between a wife and a husband only. Read 1 Corinthians 7:3-5 and understand that sexual relations are important for a healthy marriage.
While marriage is a gift from God, we are not forced to be married. We can live a life that pleases God by doing His work and focusing on His will regardless if we're married or not!
Read 1 Corinthians 7:12-16 because it tells us how we can impact those who don't believe in God within a marriage. We can change someone's life without even realizing it!
Today's topic is a tough subject when it comes to marriage. God's design for marriage is to join the man and woman as one. Divorce is taking what God made a splitting it. So guard your hearts and honor one another!
Today's focus is to respect the design God has made for marriage. That design is love and faithfulness between a man and woman. It is our responsibility to honor those who are married and for couples to stay faithful. Marriage is a gift from God that should be treated respectfully.
God's intention and design for marriage is a committed partnership between a man and a woman with a permanent promise of love and faithfulness. Read more about the roles in Ephesians 5:21-33.
In this week's reading, we are looking are reading how to honor marriage. These topics aren't focused just on married couples but for everyone to respect the design God has made for marriage. So this week, focus on this: I will honor marriage as a gift from God.
Through everything we have read this week, we have learned that a healthy relationship will grow! Take a moment and pray for God to work in you and those around you so that everyone will grow for the fellowship you create together.
Just as we look to have good influences in our lives, we also need to be a good influence on others. Use these readings as a way to grow yourself as a friend as well as helping those around you.
When we live in a healthy fellowship with one another, we are honoring God! God continually works to conform us to His image. This is love, He is the standard I choose to model as a pattern for my behavior.
We need to be careful who we surround ourselves with so that we can grow in our faith. I will seek friends who warn me when I am about to do something that will cause me harm.
Something important to know about healthy relationships is recognizing the bad ones. Read 2 Timothy 3:1-5 because it will tell you about the people who won't grow your faith.
I will be the kind of friend who cares enough to do what is best for my friends. Take a look at Galatians 6:1-3. What does that scripture say to your life? Think of how you can adjust your life to live more by the law of Christ.
This week we are looking into building healthy relationships and speaking the truth in love. Read through the scriptures today and pray that you can speak the truth in love within the relationships you have.
Over the past couple of days, we asked you questions to make your story. Today we can finish your story with this question: "What has changed in my life since I became a follower of Jesus?" Put all three together, and now you can share it with others!
Today I am focusing all of my heart on Jesus. As I do, Je replaces all fear in my life with faith, and as a result, I live in His rest. Continue building your story with this question: "How did I make the decision to follow Jesus?"
Choosing Jesus to be the Lord of my heart gives me access to the power of HIs courage when sharing my story. Today we have a question for you to think about. What was life like before I became a follower of Jesus?
We all share God's Holy Spirit, so listen to what it can tell you. Matthew 10:19-20 says that God will give you the right words at the right time and that it will be the Spirit of our Father speaking through you!
Today's focus is on not overcomplicating the Gospel. It can be difficult to share the news of Jesus. The best way to share the word of Jesus is to share it just as it's written in the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John!
God is looking for someone who is willing to allow His power and strength to work them. Follow God's direction and be willing to share your story when the time is available. And again, pray this simple prayer this week: "Here I am, send me."
Welcome to this week's reading about Sharing My Story! Today I pray this prayer, "Here I am, send me." Today I am choosing to be led by the Spirit of God, and this makes all the difference in sharing my story. Be praying for that opportunity!
God's plan for me is to become more like Him as a follower of Jesus and for my life to give Him glory, honor, and praise as I trust Him. If you take anything away from this week's reading, it is to trust God with the blessings He has provided!
We are grateful to have a God that provides for us! He proves Himself faithful to me through His provisions and blessings. He meets all of my needs. After this reading, give thanks to God for His blessings and if you need something, He will provide it.
Today we are looking at the question: Is wealth okay? We have read that everything we receive is a blessing from God, but how we use it is more important. Don't take pride in wealth, instead use it for good works!
Today's reading focuses on seeking God in all we do. Read through Matthew 6:19-34. In this passage, we read about where to put our desires and treasures. On earth, we can lose our treasures so put your treasures into God's kingdom where they won't be lost!
Welcome to today's reading about "God Owns It." God has provided me with all the things for my enjoyment and blessing. He has given me all things, yet He does not want things to own me. God owns it all, so give Him thanks for everything He has blessed you with!
In today's reading, we see what it means to give sacrificially. Read from Mark 12:41-44 about the woman who gave all she had. We give because it is more blessed to give than to receive!
Welcome to a new weekly reading, and today we are talking about giving back to God. I will give to God cheerfully because He loves a cheerful giver. As I do, I am reminded that everything I have is a gift from God.
What did you learn from this week's reading on accountability? Go through the daily reading one more time and find something you can work on and apply to your life!
I will develop the gifts, talents, and skills He has given me so I can more effectively point others toward Him and make the most of every opportunity. When you complete today's reading, make that sentence your prayer throughout the day!
Today's scripture we read through Matthew 24. As you're reading, write down things that stand out to you and how you could implement them into your life.
Today, we look at Matthew 7:24-27, which describes someone who listens to God as someone who builds their house on solid rock. Anyone who doesn't listen is like someone who builds on sand. For us to be effective in our faith, we must listen to God's Word!
I will work diligently to use my gifts and talents for His Kingdom and obey His commands until the day He returns. As you do these readings be praying and looking for opportunities to use your skills and gifts!
In today's reading, we talk about being accountable. Read through all of Romans 2, which talks about God's judgment waiting for anyone who doesn't live to represent Him. Carefully read through the chapter and think of areas in your life where you need to be accountable.
Welcome to our reading in Accountability. Today we are reading about our responsibility as servants. Check out Matthew 25:14-29, which is about three servants that were responsible for money. Read through it and understand why it's important to learn!
Recognizing Jesus as the Lord of my life and putting my faith in Him for salvation is only the beginning of discipleship. Throughout this week, what did you learn that you can apply to your life?
I want His will more than my own, knowing that I will experience the rich and satisfying life He came to give me. Pray that God's Will is clear in your life so that you can carry it out!
In today's reading, take a look at Mark 8:34-38. This verse is where we see Jesus saying that if we want to be His follower, we must give up our own ways and follow His. If we try to hang on to our life, we will lose it, but if we give it up for Him, then we will be saved!
Today we read into living as Jesus did. As Jesus' disciple, I will not use my life on earth to serve my own pleasure rather I will, by the best of my ability and grace of God, invest it in serving God and people. Today, pray for ways to live like Jesus and serve others!
A disciple is a student, an apprentice, a follower willing to learn and grow by obeying and imitating Jesus' life and obeying HIs commands. In order to be a disciple, we need to remain in Jesus and follow what He tells us for our lives!
In today's scripture, we look at counting the cost. Check out Luke 14:25-33, which explains some cases if someone wasn't fully prepared to pursue something and how bad it would make them look. So what does that look like for you? What can you do to take up your cross daily and represent God?
Welcome to the new weekly reading, and today we are looking at taking up our cross. In Luke 9:23-25, Jesus says to give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow Him. So as we begin this week, ask yourself this question: "What does love require of me?" and act on it.
God's Spirit works continually within me to bring about transformation, in the tool he most frequently uses is his word. A question from today's reading is: Consider the Holy Spirit's role in helping you know and live God's Will. How do you see it changing your life?
As I navigate through this day I recognize the need for God's wisdom and power to do his will; therefore I will ask him for wisdom and power in every decision and situation.
Today's Daily Reading is all about listening to God and obeying what He tells us. In Deuteronomy, we read that if we listen to God's commands, He will be merciful. Take time to listen to what God has for you in your life and obey His commands so we can carry out His will.
In today's reading, we look at not worrying. A great example is from Philippians 4:6-7, which says don't worry about anything and pray about everything. We need to trust God with everything, and then we will experience His peace and He'll guard our hearts.
God's desire for me is to experience complete transformation from the inside out, and it begins in my mind where all thoughts and actions originate. We are called to live Holy lives in a way that reflects God, so stay away from anything that makes us impure. Pray for God's help to be strong!
Today we read about God's Plan, which is for us to live out His will. He gave us freedom with the sacrifice of His Son on the Cross. Now we can carry out His will, which is good and pleasing and perfect!
Welcome to a new reading about God's Will. Today we are talking about being all in with our lives to God. Reread the first paragraph from the Daily Reading and trust God with everything and seek His will!
As we finish up the week of Courage in Trials, what helped you the most to have courageous joy? Take some time to reread parts that stood out to you and write them down so you can look back at them when you face trials in your life.
I will not let pain or struggles steal the joy of growth, insight, depth, and dependency on God. Just as we read yesterday, we have to focus on God when we struggle and not let situations change our hearts. Continue to pray and practice an attitude of courageous joy!
In today's reading, we see some encouragement from Mark 4:35-41. Jesus literally brought peace in the middle of the storm! This leads us to today's topic. We can be sure of one thing, when all else seems too difficult, Jesus will always remain and give you peace in the storm. What storm are you facing? Pray right now and ask for God's help in the trials you face because we can't do it alone.
Today's reading is about building a firm foundation. Check out Luke 6:47-49. These verses paint a picture of what it's like to listen and obey God's word. It is like building a house on a solid foundation that won't fall. However, if you listen and don't obey, it's like building right on the ground with no foundation, no support. So listen to God's word and obey what He tells you.
Today's topic is an important one to remember when going through trials. It says in our memory verse, Hebrews 12:2, that because Jesus endured the cross, He is placed beside God's throne. He is the example we live by, and we will endure the trials of our lives so that we can be rewarded eternal life by His side.
Check out 2 Corinthians 1:3-7, this verse tells us that we are comforted by God in our troubles so that w can comfort others in their troubles. As you finish today's reading, thank God for the comfort He gives, and also pray that you can comfort others that might be struggling!
This week we are reading about the trials we face and how to focus on joy during those hardships. Throughout these readings, make this statement your prayer: My attitude is one of courageous joy in and through all of life's trials.
As we finish up the weekly reading, go back through parts that stood out to you. What have you learned from the reading, and how can you apply it to your life?
I will keep my focus on Jesus; He is my example of perseverance, because of the joy awaiting Him, He endured the cross. I am wholeheartedly committed to God and His power, I will persevere and I will finish the race!
We read earlier in the week that the trials we face aren't easy, but today we read that we must not lose sight of what God has for us. Read Colossians 1:23 Paul says that we need to stand firm in the Good News. Don't let trials shake your faith. Remain confident in Jesus and what He did for us on the cross!
Today we look at honoring God with our perseverance. In the Daily Reading, it says: "It is not just an attitude for withstanding trials, but the ability to overcome and turn them into glory." When we live by the example that God has for us, we are honoring him! Pray that you can honor God by persevering.
In today's reading, look at Hebrews 12:4-11, which says God disciplines those He loves and accepts as His child. It also says discipline is painful, but after there will be peace for those trained in His way. Think about how you look at discipline and know that God is using it to make you His child!
My response to difficulties and trials will always be positive and joyful because of my confidence in Jesus and His presence. Romans 5:3-5 says, through the trials, we develop strength, character, and endurance which won't disappoint because of God's love in our hearts. Look at the trials you face and pray for ways to grow from them!
I will persevere and finish the race. In the same way, a runner strains with every effort toward the finish line, I will press on toward the goal of knowing Jesus fully. Today, read through Galatians 5:22-26 about the fruit that comes from living in the Holy Spirit. Go back to our previous reading about the fruit of the Spirit to learn more!
It can be hard to forgive others, especially when they've hurt you. So ask for God's strength to live by the example He made for us. Our memory verse this week is Matthew 6:14-15, which says: "If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you. But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins."
God gave His Son Jesus as a sacrifice so I can be forgiven. My attitude toward others today is one of forgiveness, for I recognize and appreciate the mercy I have received. After today's reading, give thanks to God for the forgiveness you have been given and continue to forgive everyone.
My forgiveness towards others is in proportion to how God has forgiven me. I choose to follow His lead and constantly forgive others. We encourage you to read all of Ephesians 4:17-32, which says in detail ways to follow God's example!
Write this section of the Daily Reading somewhere you will see it throughout the day. While it is not my human nature to forgive, my heart is being changed moment by moment through the Holy Spirit living in me. I am depending on His help and His strength to love and forgive others.
God's love and forgiveness reaches out to all people and I must do the same. I cannot, I will not refuse to forgive others while asking God to grant my request for forgiveness. Pray that you can live out forgiving others in your life.
In today's reading, we look at a parable that asks how often we should forgive someone. Jesus essentially gives an answer that means there is no limit and we should always forgive. Today, I recognize that I will never have to forgive another person as much as I have been forgiven by God. He has never-ending forgiveness.
Welcome to a new week in our Life Transformation Bible! My prayer today is "forgive me of my sins, as I have forgiven those who sin against me."

Earlier in the week, we read about being an example. In today's topic, we are looking at being hardworking which, goes hand-in-hand with being an example. A great verse to read is Colossians 3:23 which, says to work as if we are working for the Lord rather than people. Be hardworking and be an example to those around you.
Because He transformed me, today I will live a life of honesty and integrity; everything I do and say will reflect my faith, His Word, and His love. As a follower, we teach others the good news of God to please Him, not others. In doing so, we will bring glory to God!
In today's reading, go to 2 Corinthians 6:3-7. In these verses, we read about the struggles and difficulties we face but we still remain faithful and react with kindness and patience. Today, pray that you will continue to live in kindness and patience with whatever you face.
In order to live with honesty and integrity, I will always make God's Word the standard by which I live. Read through the scriptures today, you'll see that to live with integrity, we must do so with God and not our human nature.
I will set an example by doing what is good, then my life will give greater impact to my words. Today's scripture in Titus tells us to teach with integrity and the truth, so we can't be criticized. How can you be an example to others?
Today in the Daily Reading, we look at our actions. It says: My actions and my desires demonstrate God is at work within my heart. God chose us as His Holy people to show His love to others. Live in obedience to what God tells us, and we'll bring Him Glory!
Welcome to a new Daily Reading, and this week the topic is Honesty and Integrity. I will allow God to influence every aspect of my life down to the practical details of every ordinary thing I do. Start with that this week, and let God influence the way you approach your day!
God works in and through all believers in different ways using our gifts. We should desire helpful gifts to support one another within the Body of Christ and fuel Jesus' mission. He has given me the exact gift I need to serve Him, His Church, and the Kingdom of God. Did you discover your spiritual gift, or are you using your gifts?
We are most effective when we use our unique and diverse spiritual gifts working together for the sole purpose of the mission of Jesus. Pray for ways that you can use your gift with others!
Welcome to a new day, and today we are reading about the equal importance of our gifts. Read through 1 Corinthians 12:22-26, it says that the parts of the Body of Christ that seem the weakest are some of the most necessary. It also says that if one part suffers, then all parts suffer and if one part is honored, then all parts are glad. So, value all the gifts that the Spirit gives because they all work together in Christ.
In today's reading, we are looking at our different gifts. Take a look at our memory verse which is 1 Corinthians 12:11. It tells us that the Spirit decides which gifts each person will have, and the scripture today says that we all make up the body of Christ and that all the parts are valuable. So today, make this your prayer: I will discover and use my spiritual gifts.
Today we read about unity. 1 Corinthians 12:12-13 tells us that we are all different people, but in Christ, we all share the same Spirit. No matter who we are, we are baptized into one body.
As a follower of Jesus, I have been gifted by the Holy Spirit for His divine purposes to build up and encourage the Body of Christ. In Romans 12:6-8, we are encouraged to learn what our gift is so that we can honor God. Take time to pray and ask God to reveal your spiritual gift or how you can use it!
Welcome to a new week in the Life Transformation Bible. This week we are learning about our Spiritual Gifts. Today I will discover and use my spiritual gifts.
As we finish the week, what have you learned about self-control, and how are you going to live in it? Take a moment to read and pray over an area of your life where you'd like God to help you grow in self-control.
Self-control touches every area of my life. When I feel I cannot live in self-control, I will prayerfully ask the spirit to prompt and remind me He is working in and through me. Do that now. Encourage yourself to live in the Holy Spirit because there will be trials in your life.
Email office@alivechurch.com if you'd like a free Life Transformation Bible to follow along with the readings.
In today's reading, we look at what right conduct means. Read through James 3:13-18, it tells us about living in the wisdom of God and not letting selfishness and jealousness control the joy and peace that God has for us.
Welcome to a new Daily Reading. Throughout the week, we have talked about living in self-control, and now we look at control over our speech. All our scripture references talk about being aware of what we say and guarding our lips. Pray for God to help you guard what you say and use your words to encourage one another.
In order to live in self-control, we need to be disciplined. A great example of living in disciple comes from 1 Corinthians 9:24-27. Read it for yourself and think of ways you can benefit from living in God's discipline.
On my own, I lack restraint over sinful nature, human desires. What is impossible on my own is made possible through the power of God's Holy Spirit living in and through me.
While much of the world is focused on self-fulfillment, self-satisfaction, and self-awareness, God is working in me to produce self-control. Be open to God's Holy Spirit in you as it gives you the strength of self-control.
In our Daily Reading, it says, as we walk in the strength of gentleness the fruit of gentleness will materialize in and through me, and I will be more like Jesus. Take what you've learned from this week and put it into practice, then look back to see how it's helped you!
Regardless of when anger may seem like an appropriate response, I will respond with the strength of gentleness. Gentleness will always keep anger focused on the desired end; love others as Jesus loved me.
Part of learning to be gentle is being gentle with others. In Ephesians 4:2, we read this: "Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other's faults because of your love." Think of how you will and others around you will benefit from being gentle.
In today's reading, we see from 2 Corinthians 10:1-6, Paul describes the gentle and kind authority of Jesus. Read the full scripture for yourself on the message that clarifies our authority in obedience.
Today we focus on wisdom in gentleness. Take a look at the memory verse, which says: wisdom from above is peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. What will you do to benefit from today's reading?
In today's scripture, we see examples of how Jesus' gentleness with others. This fruit of the Spirit, gentleness, in Jesus is power harnessed to serve others in love. When the world deals harshly with me, I too will respond in gentleness with the power of the Spirit.
Today I will walk in the strength of gentleness. In Proverbs 15:1-4, we see the good that comes from using gentle words and the bad that comes from the opposite. Encourage yourself to be gentle in all interactions so that you can show the love of Jesus.
My love for Jesus motivates me, and His Spirit empowers me to live in faithfulness. Our Memory Verse for this week says, pursue righteous living, faithfulness, love, and peace. What will you do or you're doing to live faithfully?
We've talked about being faithful means you must be trustworthy. Today we dive into that meaning and you're encouraged to read Psalm 15, which describes being a trustworthy follower.
We have been reading through the week that anyone who is trustworthy, endures the struggles, and is faithful will be rewarded with the crown of life. I am faithful because I trust He will do what He promised and work all things for my good.
In Colossians 3:23-24, we read that we must work at whatever we do as if we are working for the Lord rather than people. Keep that mindset as you go to work with your attitude and interactions with others.
In times of trouble and persecution, I will be found faithful knowing God is in control. Read James 1:12, which says anyone who patiently endures will be rewarded with the crown of life that God promises.
Welcome to a new day in Faithfulness. In Luke 16:10-12, we are challenged to check our faith and make sure that we are trustworthy. Take time to reflect on your faith and pray for God's faithfulness in your heart or to continue in His faithfulness.
As a follower of Jesus, my life is marked with faithfulness. God is faithful. He is constant in His love, unchangeable in HIs character, and true to His promises.
As we finish up the week, continue to pray for new ways to show the goodness of God to others. What is something new you learned from this week's reading?
Romans 7:4 shows us that we have been given new life that we can use to produce good deeds for God. And in Philippians 2:12-13, we read that God is giving us the desire and power to do what pleases him.
I am empowered and energized by the Holy Spirit to express goodness by helping others who are in need. Even when others don't deserve it, I will reach out to them in goodness with a positive action.
In the same way Jesus was a blessing to His generation, He is using me to bless my generation. Read through all of Philippians 2:1-11, which encourages living selflessly and humbly.
Goodness is the rare quality of generosity and benevolence, a choice to always go the second mile when someone has asked me to go the first. Ephesians 5:9 says the light within us only produces what is good, and right, and true. Use the Holy Spirit within you to reflect the goodness of God to others.
God's divine power has given us everything we need for living a godly life. Read all of 2 Peter 1:1-8 to read more about growing in faith. Just as we read yesterday, all our Good deeds point to God and His divine power.
I will express goodness by helping others who are in need. Matthew 5:16 says to let your good deeds shine out so that everyone will praise God. Pray for opportunities this week to show others the goodness of God!
In 1 Corinthians 13:4, we read that love is patient and kind. From the reading, what did you learn about kindness, and how are you living in it?
Reread the final paragraph from the Daily Reading and make it your choice to live as it describes. I will be an expression of Jesus' love to everyone through kindness.
For those who show me kindness, I will respond likewise. For those who choose to hurt me, I will respond Christ-like toward them by speaking words of kindness and blessing. Today make your choice to be kind to everyone.
As others observe me through the day, I will be careful and disciplined in my actions to communicate kindness, for my actions reflect my relationship to Jesus as His follower. In today's reading, go through all of James 3:1-12 and learn more about our communication to others.
Today's topic is all about checking our hearts. Read through Hebrews 3:12-14, it says to make sure that we listen to what God tells us and trust Him in our hearts so that we can share in all that belongs to Christ!
Regardless of how others treat me, I will remain calm, peaceful, and undisturbed by their actions. I will be quick to forgive and willing to overlook their actions by responding to them with kindness. Today pray for God's kindness so that you can respond to others kindly in a way that reflects His love.
Kindness is a deliberate act, and I choose to act in kindness. Today I will treat everyone with kindness. Go through the scriptures and start learning about God's kindness so that you can apply it to your life.
Through this reading of patience, what is something you learned that you will apply to your everyday life?

I am allowing God's Spirit to supernaturally work in me to produce patient love. We encourage you to go through and read all of Colossians 3:1-21 for a great definition of a New Self.
Patience is not idle, it requires action. I will take action by reflecting pm God's patient love towards me and ask Him to help me be equally patient with others.
Reread the fourth paragraph from the Daily Reading. It says: I will persevere even when under great pressure and while enduring injustice. And read James 5:7-11, which says, the Lord is full of tenderness and mercy to Job, who endured.
Through this week, we are reading that our interactions with others will be characterized by patient love. Today we read that love is patient and we see that thoroughly described in 1 Corinthians 13. "Love is patient and kind." Keep that in mind for your day-to-day life.
In today's reading, we take a look at examples of patience. Think of someone in your life who is a great example of patience or an experience you had with patience. What about them or the situation impacted you?
Today my interaction with others will be characterized by patient love. Throughout this week, pray over areas in your life where you need God's patience.
When I am called upon to make courageous moral decisions, His peace will remain as I do what is right and align my life with the truth of God's Word. Throughout this week, what is something new that you are applying to your everyday life?
Peace will continue to rule my heart and mind through all friction and strife that may come my way and I will remain strong and faithful. Check out the verses from Romans today and be encouraged for what it tells you. We are made strong through God's peace!
I set my mind on the things of the Spirit and embrace His leading today. Read through Galatians 5:16-26, these verses give us a great example of what it looks like to not focus on the Spirit and why it's so important to listen to what the Holy Spirit tells you.
We are called to live in peace as members of the body of Christ. I will practice living in the peace of Christ by investing the first moments of every day in prayer and meditating on the promises He has given me in His word.
The peace of God gives me comfort in a place of conflict. Reading Romans 8:5-8, we need to focus on the Holy Spirit to please God. In doing so, we will be given peace, so don't let our sinful nature control our thoughts and actions.
Today in John 16:33, Jesus says that we will have many trials and sorrows but we can have peace in Him because He has overcome the world. Just like we saw in yesterday's reading, go to Jesus for peace.
Today I am experiencing peace of mind and heart. Jesus promised to give me true peace and I receive it this very moment. Read Matthew 11:28-30, which says to go to Jesus if you are "weary and carry heavy burdens" because he will give you rest. Go to Jesus if you need peace and he will help you!
My heart is set on a journey with Jesus today and on this journey, I have strength through the joy He gives. Throughout the week, what have you learned about Joy that you will apply to your life?
His joy in me is unchanging, everlasting, and will sustain me for the rest of my life. As you're reading this, think of the areas of your life that will benefit from everlasting joy.
Today I am going to live in such a way that others will see and know that the joy of the Lord is my strength, so they too can see their life through Jesus' perspective.
In today's reading, take a look at Luke 15:7 it says there is just as much joy in Heaven for a sinner returning to God than 99 people who never left. Sharing the good news of Jesus with others is a way to create new believers that we can celebrate!
True joy comes from our trust in our Heavenly Father. 1 Peter 8-9 says that we love and trust God although we cannot see Him and because we are faithful, we will be saved.
The joy of the Lord is my strength! God, the source of all hope, fills me completely with joy through my faith in Him. Think about what you are hoping to gain from this week's reading as you go through it every day.
On the final day of our reading about Love, we learn to see ourselves as God does, His masterpiece. Nothing can change that we are loved and approved by our Heavenly Father. We are made new in Christ so we can do the things God has planned in our lives.
Today's scripture includes a prayer from Philippians 1:9-11. We encourage you to pray that same prayer for yourself to experience a love that overflows and pours into others.
Love begins and ends with God, it is His very nature. Love cannot be earned, it is a gift. The references from 1 John say that if you do not love others, then you don't know God. Focus on living in the light of Jesus and spreading the love he has given you to those around you.
I love because He first loved me. I love Him, myself, and others. Because we have been given new life through Jesus, we live our lives to spread the love given to us. Spend time in prayer asking for ways to show love to others!
Today's scripture from 1 Corinthians 13 gives us a great understanding of what love truly is and why love comes first. Love is the greatest, which is why we are responding to others with love.
God's love is immeasurable and beyond my comprehension. We encourage you to read Ephesians 3:16-19 and understand how powerful God's love is and why you should trust in Him.
Throughout the week, make this your goal: I will respond to others with love. In Matthew 22: 37-39, the top two commandments say to love God and love others. So, challenge yourself to live in those areas this week.
Throughout this week, we have learned about God's incomparable power. We have been given grace from God to live a life that honors and brings glory to Him so that we can spend our eternal life in heaven. God has a plan for our future and we must listen to the Holy Spirit in us to guide us on our walk of faith.
Check out the scripture references from today's reading to get an understanding of God's power working in us. Looking back at the previous days, God has done what seemed impossible, so put your trust in Him and He can do the impossible in your life. When God placed Jesus at His right hand in heaven, He also made him the authority over all on earth and heaven. In Job 26, we see a great example of how immense his power is and how none can compare to him. We are made strong in Jesus because we share the same Holy Spirit!
The power of God was able to bring back Jesus from the dead and placed him at His right hand in Heaven. The same Spirit that raised Jesus also lives in us and we can honor God by living the life we are called to live.
With God, nothing is impossible! Reading the scriptures today, we read that God makes the impossible possible. Trust in God's power and He can help you with anything that challenges you in your life and faith.
God's power is everlasting! From Isaiah 26:4, we read that we can always trust in Him, He is our eternal rock, He will always smooth out the path ahead of us. We know that God's power is above all on heaven and earth, so trust in His plan for you.
No one can equal the power that God has. His power gives us assurance in the eternal life He has for us. Throughout this week, we are learning about God's power and how it affects you.
We finish this week with Purity in Heart. The scripture references go hand in hand with why we must have a pure heart and what things can come from the heart that will keep us from God. What did you learn throughout this week's reading? Pray in the areas you felt were most impactful to you.
Read James 3:17 and see how beneficial God's wisdom can be in your faith. Having His wisdom will help you in every topic we have gone through this week. So today, pray from God's wisdom to help you in your purity!
Jesus is our best example of being a leader. We always look at the qualities he shared with us to help us be better in all areas of our lives. Read Philippians 4:8, and keep in mind all the qualities listed to be a stronger leader.
We have been brought to new life, cleansed from sin so that we can spread the good news of Jesus to others. We are called to treat others with the same love God has for us, and we can do it with His Holy Spirit living in us. Pray that you will receive new opportunities to show the love of Jesus to others.
We have a powerful topic today of Not Being Corrupted. In James 1:27, there is a powerful part of the verse that says, "refusing to let the world corrupt you." It is so easy to get caught in the distractions and complications of the world, but it is important to remain strong in God and let His Holy Spirit guide you.
Today we are reading about being an example. In our faith, we must represent Jesus in all things we do, and that includes being obedient with purity. Read through the scriptures today and understand how important it is to live in purity.
It's a new week! Throughout this week, we are going to be coming back to this statement: "I choose to submit to a life of purity from the inside out by the power of the Holy Spirit." Make that your own goal as you go through the reading this week!
The end of this week's reading finishes with the topic of Angels in End Times. In Revelation 14, we read about the angels coming and telling everyone to worship and give glory to God, and to those that don't, they will receive God's judgment. Talk about the new things you learned throughout this week's reading.
