When the car's owner got his vehicle back he checked the performance data recorder, it captured the test drive the mechanic took with the man's new Corvette. The mechanic had takin it out on a joyride where he went 148 mph. The mechanic was actually street racing a Dodge Charger in heavy street traffic. When the owner complained on social media, the dealership gave the customer a brand new 2022 Corvette no strings attached. Was that necessary? Have you ever takin a car out on a joyride like that?

The HALT act will make it mandatory that cars have alcohol detection devices in cars to prevent the driver from starting the vehicle if alcohol is detected. The man allegedly groped two female flight attendants and then punched a third in the face mid air on a Frontier flight from Philadelphia to Miami. Today's Social Dilemma, the Caledonia police were accused of planting evidence in a Facebook post that went viral a couple days ago. The short clip posted by the man pulled over shows an officer tossing a plastic baggy into the suspect's car. People immediately started accusing the police of planting evidence on a suspect including George Floyd's family attorney Benjamin Crump. It turns out the Caledonia police have bodycams and released the full video. The officer had found the baggy on someone in the car, it was empty so he tossed it back in the car. Isn't irresponsible for people to make judgments based on 15 second videos and isn't time Dane County and Madison give the officers bodycams?

One link was for "parents of color " and the other for " white parents ". The district claims they were trying to create a so called 'Affinity Spaces' . West High principal Karen Boran said "the goal was to create space for our families to discuss this topic". What is the point of discussing any issue unless you have people with differing backgrounds at the same table?

It seems as though the police didn't notice a student destroying an SUV in front of a cheering crowd. There were few masks and too many underage drinkers at this once cool event. How is it, that the best and brightest students in the state act with such craven disregard for themselves and others and yet the police get blamed when they show restraint?

Today's Social Dilemma, the other day I had lunch at one of my favorite Madison restaurants. The owner told me that he was having a difficult time finding employees. This isn't just a problem in the restaurant industry. It seems as though, a lot of young people don't want to work at jobs were they have get a little dirty. One of my first jobs was at Rocky Rococo's. I learned how to work with others and solve problems. What were some of your first jobs, and how important were those jobs in helping you build a great work ethic?
Today's Social Dilemma, again, we have two controversial police stops making the news. One of the stops led to the death of a young man when a police officer mistakenly used her gun rather than a Taser. Both these stops started with issues of license plates. Is it time to have officers use their cameras to take a photo of the expired or improper plate and mail the citation to the vehicle's owner?

There is an epidemic of crooks stealing people's catalytic converters. Thieves sell them to scrap yards because they have valuable precious metals inside them. Have you or anyone you know been a victim of this crime? What would you do if you caught someone trying to steal the catalytic converter from your car or truck?
Today's Social Dilemma, Amazon finally admitted that their drivers are so busy they don't always have time to find a restroom when they are delivering packages. Some drivers have posted pictures of plastic bottles they have urinating in. In some ways, aren't consumers partly responsible for these drivers being so busy? People order things online they could easily find at a local store. I don't give Amazon a dime because I like supporting local businesses who treat their workers well, how about you?

With the help of the ACLU, her parents got her reinstated when a lower court ruled that the school district over reached when they suspended her. Now this case is heading to the US Supreme Court.
