The O Show on 94.9 The Bull! Otis was born and raised in a small town in Morton, IL between two pumpkin patches. It’s the Pumpkin Capitol of the World, so there’s that. He considers Charlotte, NC his hometown, after spending 10 years there doing radio and meeting his wife there. Music is his ultimate passion, so much so, it’s tattooed several times on his body. Aside from music, being a dad of 2 beautiful kids (1 boy, 1 girl), boating, and football are his favorite hobbies. He’s been married for 3 years in May to an amazing southern woman and loves everything about the South. He’s also a craft beer and bourbon lover, foodie, and loves to explore and get out of the house.

Wichita Falls Police were called to a Walmart on Greenbriar Road in Texas because a woman was basically shoplifting in her stomach and becoming irate because they wouldn't give her half-off the cake she said was half gone. That's because... she's the one that made it half gone.

Over 600K people flocked to follow the once praised superstar football star and actor, now disgraced by a double murder charge and prison time for armed robbery. After watching "If I Did It", the unreleased interviews about his book. I personally have no question that, regardless of the verdict, this man had a lot to do with those murders. That's irrelevant now though. What is super creepy is how he introduced himself back to the world and announced his Twitter account. His last little quip send chills up my spine, knowing what we know.

Police in Albuquerque where baffled by an very odd theft of someone's Father-In-Law out of a Residence Inn Parking lot. Police got a call of a U-Haul trailer that was stolen while they where sleeping. Turns out, there was no electronics or furniture that one would expect in a U-Haul. Instead they where transporting their Father's body to his final resting place from Oklahoma to Kirtland, N.M. when they stopped off for some rest. They woke up to Dad being gone.

According to new research published Monday by Researchers from Queen Mary University of London, previous health risk claims of major coffee drinkers aren't true. They studied 8,000 heavy java drinkers and found no elevated risks with arteries or heart issues for people who drank one cup or 25 cups.
Dr. Kenneth Fung, who led the data analysis for the research said, “Our research indicates coffee isn’t as bad for the arteries as previous studies would suggest.”

California petsitter Casey Brengle, 26, is looking for a different job now after she used her pet sitting job to just defile every room in the house she was working in. The woman,Rosie Brown, had hired Brengle to watch over her two pups,Penny and Daisy, while she was in Louisiana for her cousin's wedding. She had told Brengle about the doggie cam on the treat dispense that they use to check in on their beloved pups. In an effort to help bring back some audience theaters are losing to Netflix and streaming movie services, Switzerland’s Cinema Pathé in Spreitenbach just launched a "VIP Bedroom" cinema. For a little bit more per ticket, movies goers can get really relaxed and enjoy a new release movie like they're in their own bedroom. Yeah... I don't make it through movies in my bed. I'm either asleep at about 15 mins in, or busy with some adult activities that took priority with the cuddling happening. NO WAY this works out as planned.
The guy shared his story on Reddit, explaining that during his fiancé’s bachelorette party his dog almost died after accidentally ingesting “large amounts of alcohol and chocolate edibles." Apparently, the girl had a big bachelorette party, they got a little too saucy and forgot to clean up the booze and weed edibles. Scrolling through a local "I Need/I Want Connections" group on Facebook this weekend, I came across a hilarious argument over a "vicious" dog attack by her neighbors dog.... turns out it was just a tiny Chihuahua #FacebookFight
The woman who started the post, you would've thought had gotten an arm nearly bit off by a huge mastiff the way she was whining about it on Facebook. She was asking if she should file a police report or call animal control to get this "demon" dog out of the neighborhood. Turns out this was all over a dog that's the size of a large guinea pig and someone calls her out for it!
It was like the 3 stooges robbing a best buy, when 3 guys in Sugarland, TX broke into the local store at 3 a.m. last week. They set off the alarm but managed to grab a bunch of stuff and high tail it before police got to the location. Whew... got away! Right? NOPE! As one was jumping in the truck, he sat on his phone, it butt-dialed 911 and dispatch could hear them getting away.

Texas drivers where stunned by one driver who was driving without a wheel, going in excess of 45 mph on it's brake rotor.
The video was captured by drivers in Houston on U.S.-59, known as the Southwest Freeway. Sparks where flying like crazy as the driver seemed oblivious to the fact that his wheel was gone and he was riding on the disc and caliper of his rear-driver side wheel.
ABC-13 shared the video that has sense gone viral because of how ridiculous it seems. You can here the nearby driver on the video say, "THEIR ON THE FREEWAY!" in awe of the stupidity.
There is no indication on where police caught up with the driver or how this horrible idea ended.

27-year-old Raphael Samuel is taking his parents to court for birthing him "without his consent". He holds a belief called anti-natalism which is that humans are considered a destructive force to the earth and it’s wrong to reproduce, especially if the child did not agree to be born.
He thinks we should all ask our parents for an explanation as to why they thought giving birth to us was a good idea. On his Natalism Facebook page he claims, “Isn’t forcing a child into this world and forcing it to have a career, kidnapping, and slavery?” or “Your parents had you instead of a toy or a dog, you owe them nothing, you are their entertainment.

There are hundreds of people who've joined this group since it was created in 2011. People are just not finding out about it and sharing screen shots of some pretty nasty rituals that people believe in.
The group believe drinking or bathing in your own urine is a way to "eliminate disease". One guy shared a pic of himself soaking his feet in pee and letting his dog lick it off, while he sunbathed. [excuse me while I puke]
There is no scientific basis for this and it's pretty gross, in my opinion.

The A&E reality show "Storage Wars" auctioneer Dan Dotson says one storage unit auction for $500 turned into a $7.5 Million find.
Dotson said a storage unit in Southern California had a bunch of items in it including a safe. Eventually when the safe got cracked the couple who bought it found $7.5 million in cash.
“It was an amazing story,” Dotson told The Desert Sun as he recalled the exchange. “She said, ‘I just gotta tell you this story, my husband works for a guy that bought a unit from you and there was a safe in there.'”
Security cameras in Portland caught a gas thief getting instant karma!
Portland Fire & Rescue investigators said there have been a rash of gas thefts from U-Haul trucks in the city and finally got a glimpse of the criminal on camera and he was coming in hot. They're still searching for the man who is seen on this video trying to siphon gas with a rubber tube. His van and pants go up on flames as he attempts the theft and he is seen running out of frame with his pants on fire.
"Something ignited that gasoline caught fire. We don't believe this is what the individual intended," Lt. Rich Chatman of Portland Fire & Rescue told KOIN-TV.

Police in Huntington, VA are baffled by the latest break-in that has one man missing his toilet?!
Resident Barry Hyder said he went to give his daughter away at her wedding early in the day and when he came home, his back door was wide open and his toilet was GONE! Hyder told WSAZ, "fitting you stole my toilet, cause this is a bunch of crap".

What was supposed to be an amazingly romantic proposal for a couple in Hawaii turned terrifying when the helicopter pilot passed out.
Adam and Carli of Illinois took a romantic vacation to Oahu and Adam had planned a beautiful helicopter ride over the ocean. He waited for the perfect moment to ask Carli to marry him and then happiness turned to terror, when the pilot passed out at the controls.
Carli was in the front seat with Adam in the back when she yelled "What do I do!?" Adam said "pull up, pull up" as the chopper took a deep dive. That's when Carli took over flying and guided the chopper to a shallow part of the ocean and crash landed as soft as she could. Both suffered minor injuries but no one was killed. The helicopter company responsible said "clearly, the pilot had a medical emergency." He survived as well.
Today's Moron Monday nomination goes to Florida moocher Hermes Callijas-Gasperin, 22, who was arrested for assaulting his mother with sausages.
According to the police report, Callijas-Gasperin battered his 41-year-old mother when she told his to "give her a minute" after he demanded her make him dinner. He admitted he threw the sausages in a rage after his mother "bumped" him in the kitchen and wouldn't apologize. Land O' Lakes, Florida police responded to a domestic dispute between nieghbors who have had an ongoing fight about the bushes between their yard, according to WFLA news.
The sheriff's office said suspect Gregory Landaker was cutting the bushes and removing some with a chainsaw when his neighbor Jeffrey Zlocki noticed and started "hugging" the bush. That's when Landaker starting cutting that bush and cut Zlocki's arm allegedly. He was treated at the local hospital.
Police arrested Landaker for aggravated battery and simple battery and taken to the Land O’ Lakes Detention Center.

Passenger aboard a RyanAir flight in London experienced a very odd delay when a man dressed as Tinkerbell was drunk and disorderly and got escorted off their flight by armed police after "threatening to cut everybody up".
According to The Sun, he was a groom on the flight with his best man who helped remove him from the flight after realizing he was being way over the top and too drunk.
One passenger commented "Our flight to Krakow hasn't taken off yet because a man dressed as Tinkerbell has threatened to cut everyone up." Then added, "Armed police have shown up. One officer has adjusted the man's wings."
The man in question was reportedly given several chances to sit down and stop his rant but didn't choose that path. Come one man! You're dressed as Tinkerbell.... you look ridiculous enough.... and you're gonna miss your wedding!
Georgia police are baffled by who would want to steal $98,000 worth of Ramen Noodles. A trailer full was just hi-jacked in Fayetteville on August 1st.
Fayette County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating a full trailer of 300,000 Ramen packets that vanished from a Chevron station in Fayetteville. The driver said he dropped the trailer on July 25th and when he returned to go deliver it on August 1st.... it was gone!

Monica Berlin, 39, of Half Moon Bay, CA set 900 hay bales on fire causing 2 giant blazes and doing $20,000 in damage the leading the police on a chase while on Facebook LIVE.

Earl Stevens, 69, from Vero Beach, CA was pulled over after another driver called police to report he bumped her car in the McD's drive thru. When police caught up with Stevens he reaked of booze, eyes blood shot and glassy, and he had a 5th of bourbon in the passenger seat next to him. Was he drinking and driving?
"No!" is what he told police when they questioned him. "[He] only tooks swigs at stop signs and traffic signals", when the car wasn't moving! #SafteyFirst right?

Scott Garrett, of Florida, had the perfect story to get out of his DUI arrest when he was pulled over recently.... his Dog was driving.
Just outside of Port St. Lucia, FL, police saw a 2005 Nissan driving erratically. When they pulled the car over, Garrett reeked of booze and had blood shot eyes and slurred speech. Police questioned him about the car swerving all over and he told them, "he wasn’t driving the vehicle but it was...actually his dog", according to the police report.
The open bottle of Rum didn't help make his story very believable either.
Patresha Isidore, 24, who is the baby mama of Junior Francis, 22, (pictured on hood) is now facing many charges after a domestic dispute turned into a wild ride on the interstate.
An argument ensued at his residence and somehow he ended up clinging to the hood of her car. Francis held on with one hand, as he called 911 to say she was “swerving the car and I'm on top of the car. I really need help.”(The Smoking Gun)

Chelsea Police received calls about a 56-year-old bicyclist was struck on Revere Beach Parkway. The vehicle fled the scene but in his excitement to get away, didn't realize there was a GIANT piece of evidence that made it easy for police to find him!

All shoved where the sun don't shine. 4 1/2 lbs of gold worth $82,000 was being smuggled in the most uncomfortable way possible (possible was questionable before this).

A Zookeeper at Discovery Wildlife Park in Alberta may be in a cage soon himself, after taking a Kodiak bear to a local Dairy Queen to get it some ice cream.
DQ workers caught it all on video, which shows the bear being fed through the Drive-thru as the owner of the DQ leans out of the drive-thru window. Someone in the video is heard saying, "We’ve got Berkley in the drive-thru testing out some ice cream so she can pick out her birthday cake."
The zookeeper SWEARS everyone was safe because the bear "was on a chain". Right cause the several hundred pound bear couldn't destroy that chain in a heart beat I'm sure. Plus, the owners hand is like inches from his mouth! NO WAY!!! (The Guardian)

Police have not released the name of the 24-year-old suspect who was arrested after residents at an apartment complex called stating a naked man was under a car in the parking lot. He was allegedly attempting to make love to the tailpipe of someones car.
When police arrived he still didn't stop his love session, so he had to be tased and taken into custody, according to Lieutenant Scott Powell of the Newton Police Department. He blew a .35 on the BAC test, which is 3 times the legal limit of .08. Prosecutors are charged him with lewd and lascivious behavior, a misdemeanor.

Look, we all grow a little impatient when we are waiting in the parking lot for too long. It's frustrating when someone says, "I'll be quick" and takes forever in the store. I imagine that's what this dog was thinking, when he crashed his owners truck into the cell phone store.
Workers and customers jumped out of the way as the small truck barreled through the wall and into phone displays. They didn't think anyone was behind the wheel until a confused dog's head popped up in the driver's seat.
The owner claims the dog was in the truck when he left it running to go inside real quick. Somehow the dog kicked it into gear and went for the joy ride. No one was hurt, thankfully but the store has a lot of damage to clean up.

25-year-old Xavier Moran should probably just changes his name to MORON after getting himself arrested for burglary. Moran was in an accident, according to Palm Beach police, on April 5th. He swore to the officers on scene that he was cut off in traffic and had the dash cam video to prove it.
Moran handed over the footage to police. They not only found the accident video, but an even more incriminating video on the same dash cam that landed him in jail for probably MANY years! (WPTV)

Science Fiction movies have predicted one day we'd have devices that could read our brains and thoughts, but now MIT has made it reality.
MIT researchers have created a wearable head gear, that can read brain signals and decipher your thoughts as you talk to yourself, without a word being spoken. According to EnGadget, the device will measure neuromuscular signals that get triggered when you subvocalize. Meaning it literally will read your thoughts.
It's designed so electrodes read signals when you verbalize internally. Also, bone-conduction headphones use vibrations to send code to a computer that will distinguish to word or phrase you are saying to yourself. (engadget)

Isaac Bonsu of Washington, D.C. found out the hard way when he was running from police after the attempted a DWI stop. After a short car chase, Bonsu jumped out of the car and took off on foot. As he ran in front of his car, it ran him over.

Kane Brown is speaking out for struggling families who have trouble paying rent and making ends meet. He grew up with a single mom who had this struggle, it's why "Make Room" is so close to his heart.
