ALIVE: Alternative to Living in Violent Environments is a St. Louis-based nonprofit agency that is working to eradicate domestic violence from the community through emergency shelter, safety planning, court advocacy, and counseling.
Being ALIVE is a podcast where the realities of domestic violence are examined and talked about plainly in hopes of normalizing the discussion of this misunderstood and stigmatized issue. Join us as we speak with advocates, survivors, and other members of the community to uncover myths surrounding intimate partner violence and learn what you can do.
