This week: a brief rundown of the box office numbers, and Joe takes a nostalgic trip into his childhood and his extensive toy collection (and when he stopped collecting), as well as a trip down his radio memory lane, regaling us with some of his favorite moments and experiences in both his music, radio, and documentary talking head career.

Joe has LOVED being a part of the Los Angeles radio landscape for nearly two decades, and, with all his success in managing, lawyering, film-making, and show-running, the timing of this could not be better for him...

Producer Sam is moving to Spain to be with his kids, so all of this times out perfectly for us.

Stagecoach went a little less country this year, with Diplo and Pitbull headlining... Journey was supposed to play, but the grounds got evacuated because of a nasty wind/dust storm. But things got back up and running for today... fun times were had by all in attendance.

This week: The Grammy's are happening as we do the show live, and Joe is confused... How is it that the Sublime (the band Joe manages) had the biggest song of the year, yet not get any Grammy love? Joe explains the impact of being an independent band on getting Grammy consideration. Joe also explains why he is puzzled by the fact that a punk rock band won the award for best Metal act. Punk is not metal, but it's not like the Grammy's actually care about accurate musical categories... just ask Jethro Tull!

Also, Joe complains about AI getting everything wrong (again), and then he goes into the laws surrounding the use of the term Super Bowl, discussing when you can and when you can't use the term... Which reminded Joe of LA's history of underground dance clubs, where "Taxi Dancers" would dance in clubs with people for money per song, and the factors that led to its ultimate demise.
