Promo's and bookings dimarco.nl@gmail.com Biography Inspired by the sound that was played in the Roxy and Richter in Amsterdam, Marco started playing records in 1992, from 1992 t/m 1995 he played as resident DJ @ the Highlander in Alphen a/d Rijn with DJ M.A.B. and guest DJs, as Angelo D'Onorio, Marcello, 100% Isis and Alvredo. In 1993 Marco played his first big gig @ the Waakzaamheid Koog a/d Zaan, quickly followed years with regular bookings and also played several times in places like Club IT with dj Jean and Sinners in Heaven. In 1996 and 1998 played Marco for Silly Symphonies and others in les 2 Alpes France on snow academy. For the rest of the nineties Marco also played events like Queensday in Amsterdam at the Bulldog (Oudezijdsvoorburgwal)and 'Leids Ontzet' 2/3 October in Leiden. Also he organized private birthday parties, from which 1996 and 1997 were the best. The first he gave on a boat in Amsterdam with Jelle Jansen from Friet Records with DJs like Alwin, Eva and JVM and the second was in Sinners in Heaven together with Bas Abel. In this period Marco played mostly house, but also tech-house. In 1999 Marco came more in touch with techno, played many times in his former residence Harmelen with Mykaz (Trouw, xt3radio) still living here and even in 2003 in a new sports hall a 1000 + party played together with Mykaz and Erick E. In 2000, Marco had his first foreign tour in Bulgaria and did places like Varna (4000 +), Golden Sands, Sofia and Burgas. In 2002, Marco moved to Scheveningen, where he started spinning in beachclubs like de Karavaan, Mecca, Billabong (now boomrang) and Blue Lagoon. There he played deeper styles in house. Since 2005 Marco played 3 times a tour in Poland, including one time for RMF Maxxx, the Polish 538. In that same period he also regularly played for Leiden City Beats with guest DJs like Jean, Mark van Dale and Ramon (LADS). In recent years he regularly plays sets on exclusieffm, other radio stations and other bookings, which in April 2012 in The Hague Tower (Strijkijzer) one of the memorable one, a few weeks after this the frontman René Mulder (Exposure) died. Marco producing the last years also music and plays occasionally his own songs and he want to release soon. In 2013 he played a several times for beachclub Karavaan who also booked dj's like John Digweed, Martin Buttrich, Michel de Hey, Benny Rodrigues and many others that season, did a few clubs and he played also on Ibiza. Marco has been played a long time long before 2000 under the name DJ DiMarco, but the last few years someone else came into the picture, which uses the same name and Marco plays now mainly under his full name. On regular bases he also plays for at least 10 years for Exclusieffm who was the first 17 years a House radio pirate and now it is a well listen stream. In 2015 he did a residency at Harbour Club Ibiza. Preference in music nowadays is tech-house and techno, but he likes also to play a deeper set.
