I Rise In My Truth

Ebru Calin

2 Episodes

I Rise In My Truth is a biweekly podcast that unpacks the story of a Muslim feminist woman of color. Through introspection, it unveils the making of intersectional identities, and the role culture, racism, interracial relationships, and sexual orientation play. It is not only about finding one's truth in today's society. The podcast touches the deepest parts of people's humanity through reflecting upon the intimate relationship with the self, the body, womxenhood and life. This podcast allows all those who have been rendered invisible to be heard.
