The spiritual discipline of Silence and Solitude is about disconnecting from the noise, busyness, and demands of the world so that we can connect with God in a deeply personal and meaningful way. During times of silence, we quiet ourselves so we can hear from God. During times of solitude, we escape the demands of everyday life so we can enjoy and abide in the love of God. By practicing Silence and Solitude we give ourselves time and space to be still and know that God is God (Psalm 46:10)
