THE WAY I USED TO LIVE BEFORE I GOT SAVED.

©️ FALADE MOFIYINFOLUWA

Many of you might not have known me before I got saved, but the truth is that this girl here wasn’t born a saint. Yeah, I once lived the life of a sinner before Christ, in his infinite mercy, reached out to me🙇.

Being born into a Christian home, I had an idea of what it meant to be born again, but wasn’t. My parents, who are pastors in the RCCG church, taught me how to pray regularly, study the word of God, and even fast at intervals. At some point, I became active in the church, performing several duties just to appear to be that "godly child" everyone thought I was.

But these were all lies, because the more active I was in church, the deeper I fell into my sins. Those religious activities I engaged in didn’t stop me from stealing from my parents, nor did they stop me from telling those petty lies. Permit me to also say that they didn’t stop me from having ungodly conversations with the opposite sex.

Hmm, the truth is that I was drowning in my sins without anyone knowing because of my pretense, deceit, and sanctimonious activities that weren’t from a pure heart. I tried to live right, but I couldn’t. Oh, how I tried, all to no avail. I couldn’t save myself.

It continued this way until I met with THE ONLY SAVIOUR OF MANKIND (JESUS CHRIST)💃💃. I was told about the love of Christ, how he came to redeem us from our sins and that anyone who believes in him will have eternal life. What more do I want? I couldn’t but accept his offer of salvation, and since then, it’s been a blissful journey with Christ.

Are you there and you are fed up with your sinful lifestyle but do not know how to be free? Jesus is calling you today. The above story isn’t fiction but a true story. If Jesus could save me, he can save you too☺️. NO SIN IS TOO HARD FOR CHRIST TO RESCUE YOU FROM.

Just believe and take a step of faith in accepting Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour. With God's help, confess your sins and promise never to return to them. After that, you begin to live a victorious Christian life💪.

SHALOM💌.
