In chapter 10, we reunite with Crooked Ear and this chapter is told from his perspective. What do we learn about wolves from his narrative? Later, the governor comes to inspect the school and is very impressed with the 'progress' that is being made. We learn too about his opinion about what should happen to the older indigenous students. Mrs. Hall burns the letters parents send. What can we infer about the actions and opinions of these people who work at the residential schools?
