Some days I find myself engaging in topics I know aren't going to go anywhere, just a bunch of chest-pounding ego-measuring conversations. As I grow in my walk with God, I'm finding that my want to be involved in pointless things is changing. How many of us get on social media saying things that contradict who we are in real life? There’s a lot of group thinking happening on social media just so that people don't feel alone or so that they can gain a more significant following. For some strange reason, we are back in high school. I mean that People are trying to please people just so they can fit in. If you are lost and don't know who you are seek God, if you are looking for purpose seek God. Don’t lie to yourself.

This topic has been trending on Twitter for a few days, and my timeline has been filled with ridiculous comments. Watching humans easily fall for the agenda of division is amazing. The playbook is old and they are running the same plays over and over again because people are leaning on their emotions instead of truth. I would love to see some unity, how about unity in the homes between the parents, unity in the community against illegal activity, or some unity against a tyrannical government that is preying on the minds of the younger generation?

Being lonely is a scary thing, no one wants to be alone. As I have grown through my journey as a Warrior, I remember keeping people around when I knew I should have let them go. It’s a very dangerous situation when you keep people around you just for the sake of not being alone. It takes a toll on us when we know and see the damage it is causing within. Many times, we don’t want to be alone because we are uncomfortable with our own thoughts, so we try to fill that space with people. Being alone is a great time to figure out who you are.

It feels good to be healthy again. In this episode I talk about being sick for two weeks, I like to call it two weeks of hell. I’m not going to say it was that one thing but what I’m going to say is that it sucked, but God brought me and my wife through it and I Thank him for that. Realizing I cannot afford to waste time on topics that I have no power to change the situation. I have goals for my family, and I took a step back by focusing on things that didn’t matter, not again will I give my time away like that. Today I ask a serious question, are you really offended? Too many times I have seen passes extended to certain individuals, but others never get that same pass. Truth be told you just don’t like the person who is not caring for your feelings. Today society has been lied to for so long that they cannot handle the cold hard truth anymore, they rather be lied and played with.

This week has been a real struggle for me. I realized that my mind is trying to wear me down, but I will not allow it to do so. I know there are a lot of things that are happening in the world today, but we cannot succumb to the pressures of our situations. It’s good to be aware of what your mind is doing and make sure you are able to counter it; we all know the mind is powerful it can work for you and can definitely work against you.

Happy Father’s Day, today right before I went live my mom text me a scripture that she has always told me about. I ask you to look into this scripture Eph. 6:4, it explains how to raise your kids. I know I’m not the best nor do I have all the answers on how to be a good dad. I do know that I had a pretty good example on how and what I’m supposed to be doing as a parent. I greatly appreciate my dad for his guidance and wisdom that he shares with me.

Today I discuss how exhausted I am with seeing another Black Man killed by white police officers. In Matthew 24:12 tells us that; iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. Whats deep inside of many will show itself. We have to hold people accountable for their evil divisive ways. We need more good cops to show they are good and hold their so called brothers in blue accountable for their hatred. We know that not all cops are bad cops but we need to see more from those cops. Know that I am more than my skin color!
