Eva Stachniak, much loved Canadian author and world famous writer of historic fiction reveals much about her latest work. After a year of intensive research Eva finds the job of sifting and sorting as onerous as ever, especially when it concerns the detailed life of Branislava Nijinsky, sister of the famous ballet dancer Nijinsky. Following her beloved brother through the intricacies of Russian ballet, appearing on stage with him, she was arguably the person most close with the man who thrust ballet into the 20th century. She did not follow him, however into the madness which consumed him but stayed to continue in dance , in choreography and in a tumultuous life.
