Presuppositional Apologetics is the name given to that form of defending the faith, which starts entirely from biblical principles. It is a subject that we have discussed several times before in this podcast, and it is the subject of my book 'Only Believe'.
Recently, I have noticed that there are a number of what I would refer to as Cage Stage Presuppositionalists on the internet. They have adopted the methodology of presuppositionalism, as one tool among many, without, it would seem, a real understanding of what it is about - or, more importantly, what He is about.
In order to consider this problem, I am joined on the show by my good friend Sye ten Bruggencate, who shares my concerns. Our conversation covers a great deal of ground on this topic, in what is probably the longest TMATW so far.

Theistic Evolutionists and Creationists alike have, for different reasons, given an impression that the book of Genesis is actually 2 books: chapters 1 through 11, and chapters 12 through 50. In this podcast, Paul Taylor shows that we cannot understand the life, work and faith of Abraham aright, without believing the literal truth of the first 11 chapters of Genesis. Therefore, the book of Genesis should be seen as a unified whole.

Paul shows that the debate did not work, or achieve a useful object, given that the apologetic approach used was not good.
Paul outlines some of the latest news from the Mount St Helens Creation Center, including, hopefully, the imminent announcement of new premises for the ministry.
Then the episode tackles more on the issue of biblical inerrancy, which has morphed into an attack on Presuppositional Apologetics. Paul responds to a number of recent articles on this controversy, from Spencer Toy, and from Frank Turek, as well as Andy Stanley. Using his book, Only Believe, Paul brings us back to a positive view of biblical apologetics.
Attacks on the authority of Scripture have been coming thick and fast. In this episode, we look at the recent teachings of megachurch pastor Andy Stanley, and examine the reasons why he is undermining people's acceptance of the Bible as foundational truth.
