2 Corinthians 5:10 tells us we all will stand before the judgement seat of Christ where our works will be tried by fire. This lesson continues in the teaching of the Birth of Jesus. The Incarnation was bitterly contested then as it is now. In John 20:30-31, John states the purpose of him writing this gospel is for us to believe that Jesus is the Messiah--God manifest in the flesh, and that we must believe in Him in order to have eternal life and escape eternal death. Spiritual Gifts are the supernatural manifestations of the Spirit of God and they have nothing to do with our natural abilities, powers, education or learning. 1 Corinthians 12:7-11, teaches us how the Spirit's presence is shown in some way to every believer for the good of all. Receive an understanding of what the Gift of Prophecy is and what it is not, along with biblical examples and what the patterns represent.

The fact the Bible teaches the Virgin Birth in Matthew 1:18-25, can't be denied. One can reject it, but not deny it. This was done to save us all from sin.
Are you informed concerning Spiritual Gifts? In 1 Corinthians 12, Paul wrote to the Corinthian church concerning their misinformation of the different kinds of Spiritual Gifts. He explained how the gifts are given to each person as the Spirit wills. The Spirit's presence is shown in some way in each person for the good of all. There are nine gifts and three categories. Today's lesson explores the Revelation Gifts: word of wisdom, word of knowledge, and discerning of Spirits.
Receive an in depth meaning of God's plan of the End Times through the Book of Revelation. Chapters 4 & 5 of Revelation speaks of after the Church is Raptured up to Heaven and during the Seven Years of Tribulation on Earth, the Judgement Seat of Christ will take place. You will be judged on your works, motives and attitudes, and will receive rewards of crowns to lay at the feet of Jesus for your faithful service while here on earth. Are you ready to receive your crowns? Ask yourself, who and what am I living for? Are my priorities God's priorities? Is Jesus Lord over all aspects of my life? Am I living a Rapture-free life?
The value of speaking in Tongues is the supernatural means of communicating, the spiritual edification, we are praying in God's Perfect Will, it eliminates selfish praying, it's a means of magnifying God, it helps us to be more Spirit-conscious, it assists us in worship, it stimulates our Faith, it refreshes us spiritually, we Give Thanks well, it helps us control our tongue, and we experience the other manifestations of the Spirit.
The signs that we are living in the last days are prophesied throughout both the Old and New Testaments. According to the scriptures, the Rapture can occur at any time. We are living in the harvesting times and this is our service to God --to live a Holy life and to lead others to Christ. Are you Rapture ready?
Speaking in Tongues is the supernatural means of communication. It is used to build up spiritual strength, to pray God's Perfect Will and it eliminates selfish praying. There are diversities in Tongues. They can be for signs, for ministry or for devotional. All are the same in essence, but have different purposes and use.
The Rapture is the first event to take place during the End Times and we are living in the last days before the Rapture. We need to be ready--Born Again, living a Godly life, doing the service of God and leading others to Christ. We need to stay focused, committed, forceful and determined until Jesus comes. God's seven day redemptive plan is revealed in the seven feast days and we are now laboring in the harvest waiting for the trumpet to sound. Are you ready?.
One does not receive all of the work of the Spirit when saved. The initial work is the cleansing from all sin and you're given new heart. Jesus speaks of the next work of the Spirit in Acts 1:4-5 as being Baptized in the Spirit or being filled with the Spirit. The purpose of this work is to empower you for service. Once you're Baptized in the Spirit, He will fall on you and you will begin to speak in tongues glorify God. Have you been Baptized in the Spirit?
In Hebrews 6:12 AMP describes Faith as the leaning of one's entire personality on God in Christ in absolute trust and confidence in His power, His wisdom and His goodness. One example, is God's design of marriage. When He created a woman from man, it was His remedy for the loneliness of man. His handcrafting made their union a sacred bond, thus showing the manifestation of His goodness, power and wisdom. Marriage is God's design, not man's.
In 2 Kings 2: 1-22, Elisha wanted more of God and he knew Elijah was a great man of God about to taken up to Heaven. Because he had committed himself to following and never leaving Elijah's side until God took him up to Heaven in a whirlwind, Elisha received a double portion of the Spirit and went on to perform great miracles. Do you want more of God?
What is Weaning Faith? In Psalms 131:2, David says his soul is like a weaned child with his mother. In context, he is speaking of being weaned or to withdraw from emotional and soulish attitudes such as fear; depression; being ashamed before God; being weighed down by stress, burdens and troubles; and murmuring. These attitudes can limit the work of God in one's life. We have been cleansed by the Blood of Jesus and accepted by God.
As spoken in Acts 19:1-6, there are two baptism experiences that need to take place--to be Born Again and baptized in water; and to be Spirit-Filled or baptized with the Holy Spirit. Being Born Again and being Spirit-Filled are two separate works of the Spirit in the life of a believer. Have you received the Spirit since you believed?
In Timothy 4:7, Paul speaks on how he fought the good fight, finished the race and kept the faith. We must also be true disciples and persevere in the Word, persist in the faith and refuse to be discouraged by counter-influences and the oppositions we all face --the devil, the world and the flesh.
In John 14:16, Jesus speaks of another helper. The Paraclete (Holy Spirit) is our comforter, counselor, helper, advocate, intercessor, strengthener and our standby. He is in perfect harmony with the Father and Son and doesn't act on His own or apart from them. He is here for us to teach and remind; tell of the Truth and guide; convict and convince; regenerate and anoint; and inspire the Word.
In Is. 64:1-2, Isaiah speaks of the anointing and mission of the Messiah--to Release, Recover and Restore. To proclaim the Year of the Jubilee--which is no longer a day, but a person. Man's fall from Grace meant Jesus had to become a man in order to redeem us according to the law of Jubilee. He offers His blood and legally redeems all mankind from the tyranny of the kingdom of darkness and those who call upon Jesus are now Released from all debt, Recover what was lost and Restored to a right relationship with God forever.
In John 14:6, Jesus reveals himself as The Way, The Truth and The Life. Our only access to God. Though He was restricted to physical limitations while fulfilling His Heavenly mission of sin sacrifice, Jesus promised another comforter at His departure,who would not be limited by time, to take His place. The Holy Spirit or Paraclete, is God and His mission is to glorify Jesus and reveal Him to us. He also changes, teaches and guides us and imparts gifts to empower effective ministry.
The Passover, being the first of the Seven Feasts required be observed at the appointed time, is no longer a yearly feast--it's a person. Jesus puts an end to the Passover rituals for believers. He is the sacrifice for the sins of the world--slain for us. The institution of the Lord's Supper at Passover signals the end of Old Testament Passover with the offering of the true Passover Lamb. Jesus was and is that offering.
The Holy flame is started by God, but as the temple, we are to keep the Holy Fire burning. 2 Chronicles 7:14 says that we are God's people, called by His name. We humble ourselves, pray, seek His face, turn from wicked ways: then He hears from Heaven, forgives and heals. Fuel needs to be added day and night. When the sacrifice of praise is offered up, fire falls, chaff is burned up and hearts are set ablaze with zeal and enthusiasm.
Lev. 23:4 of the Jewish Study Bible says, "These are the set times of the Lord. The sacred occasions, which you shall celebrate each at its appointed time." The chapter sums up God's plan of Redemption . He paints a picture of His plan in Jewish Feasts (Feasts, means appointed times). God has planned and orchestrated the time of each feast to reveal the work of redemption. They also reveal the end times.
Do you desire to see the Glory of the Lord? In Exodus 33:17-18, Moses had the difficult assignment of leading a rebellious people out of a desert to a promise land, which required a close walk with God. He became frustrated with their being out of control and not desiring God. He needed recharged--he wanted to see God's Glory. We have been given the assignment of living a life that will lead others to Christ and as we get frustrated, we are in need of a recharge. We need to see God's Glory.
How does God value our lives? Psalms 139: 14-18 informs us that God is so pleased with how He created us that His thoughts of us are too many to number. Most view their lives as insignificant, having little meaning or importance. Consequently, they lightly value their lives. But, God's view of us is much different than how we view ourselves
What does it mean to fight the good fight of Faith? In Timothy 6:12, Paul knew the Christian Life was not a cakewalk and one had to possess the fighting Spirit. This is why in 2 Timothy 4: 6-8, he speaks about the Faith required to finish the course by fighting the good fight of faith and possessing that fighting Spirit.
Spiritual lives are built with spiritual materials. One is Knowledge-- which is the accumulation of facts; two is Understanding-- which is to grasp the meaning; and three is Wisdom-- which is the practical application of knowledge and understanding.
In Matthew 17:14-21, Jesus teaches Mountain-Moving Faith to his disciples when their unbelief kept them from casting out demons. He teaches, if you have faith as a grain of a mustard seed, you shall say to your mountain, be removed, and it shall be removed. A mountain is an obstacle, a problem, disease, an addiction, or any difficulty you may face. Unbelief kept the people of Israel from the Land of Promise. But, belief or faith caused David to defeat Goliath, brought down the walls of Jericho, and the parting of the Red Sea. Do you have Mountain-Moving Faith?
According to Philippians 3:10, after Jesus met Paul on the road to Damascus, he was forever more changed and his longing desire was to know Christ intimately. Our desire should be the same. The four Gospels are the proclamation of the Gospel; the book of Acts is the demonstration of the Gospel; and the Epistles of Paul are the explanation of the Gospel.
Why is our Faith tried? God doesn't try our Faith, but Satan does. According to Romans 10: 14-17, "...Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God." So how do we increase our Faith?...by hearing, believing and speaking the Word of God.
According to 1 Timothy 2:4, people perish for lack of knowledge. Without being taught properly, believers can remain carnal and never develop spiritually. And Acts 1:8 shows us that God wants everyone to be saved and filled with power from On High. This power enables us to witness, to live and act for God, and to show forth the divine manifestation within.
The Bible describes our "now" time in 1 Corinthians 13:12-13. During our time on the earth abides faith, hope, and love. God is love and has faith and vision. Love is greatest because it continues in Glory. Faith and hope won't be necessary. In Glory, redemption is complete and every hope is realized. On earth, hope motivates us to use our faith to make our hopes and dreams a reality.
There are two kingdoms at work around us: the kingdom of light, and the kingdom of darkness. Each kingdom has its own standard of operation, and set of values, morals, and followers. Those who follow Jesus abide by His morals and values; those who follow Satan follow his morals and values. Fasting is one of three disciplines Jesus taught his disciples. Prayer generates power, giving reveals the heart, fasting shows desire and demonstrates humility. Though fasting doesn't change God, it does change us and position us to better experience His grace in our lives.
Why is faith so important to God? Because it means we believe in Him, His integrity, His love, and faithfulness. In Luke 22, of all the things Jesus could have prayed for Peter, he prayed that Peter's faith fail not. The writer of Hebrews describes the condition of man in regards to the throne of God. Before Jesus, there was no access. Twice in his epistles, the apostle Paul used the word 'quench.' In Ephesians 6, he admonishes the church to quench the fiery darts of satan, and in 1 Thessalonians 5 he instructs the church not to quench the Holy Spirit.

Many times in the Old and New Testaments, people would fail to walk in God's divine provision for them because they failed to activate God's power. How can we have the power of God at work in our lives? By revering and fearing God more than men. Even after years of following Jesus, working His miracles with Him, and receiving his teachings and passing the test, the disciples of Jesus still were not fully equipped to carry on His work.
