This week Mid by Midwest conveniently ignores the midterm elections to instead focus on a series of stupid slap fighting, first between the White House and CNN's Jim Acosta over a brief bout of rudeness. And second between every major metropolitan hub in America as they competed to bribe the world's largest retailer to locate their newest headquarters in their own city. Now New York is betting multiple billions of dollars on that horse.
This week we ignore the fact that the 2018 midterm elections are the day after recording with a consideration of one of Trump's more ludicrous pre-election plays to his base. Should the president be able to revoke birthright citizenship by fiat? Almost certainly no. Should we not have birthright citizenship anymore? Maybe?
This week we have the gang together again to give you a preamble for the midterms and how much of a shot the Democrats have at winning both the House and the Senate.
