This week we get into some reminiscence about what life is truly about...
Are you feeling like adulting is HARD AF LATELY?! Like, being in your 20s with this housing market, economy, and cancel culture has been a whirlwind to navigate and has definitely taken a toll on our day to day.
We talk about how its important in the midst of this to focus on the small wins like making your bed, saving a couple $100 a week, booking that trip finally. We also discuss finding happy in the mundane tasks like browsing the grocery store, eating with nonno and nonna, etc. Its hard to recognize these things when you're swept up in stressors and hustle culture.
We also talk about Red & Green Flags-- ordering for you at a restaurant? Showing up to your work?.. yay or nay?
This and so much more on this weeks episode!!
In this Rant Episode:
Embracing Play in Adulthood Our main focus for this episode revolves around a topic that's often overlooked - the significance of holding onto our inner child as we navigate the realms of adulthood. Society constantly pressures us to "grow up," leading us to lose touch with what truly makes us happy - the spirit of play. We delve into ways to strike a balance, finding the magic of embracing our inner child while handling the responsibilities of being an adult.

This week we have OUR FAV people on the pod, our boyfriends Roman and Francy!
Of course we get into our weekly updates... Rome and Sam go into a debate that frequents their household: why doesn't Sam like blockbuster/Oscar award winning movies?!?!?!
Then we get into the good stuff-- navigating life changes can be hard & sometimes when you feel like your life isn't going in a positive direction, small steps to change different areas of your life, GRADUALLY, is what will make a difference.
Francy tells us about how he navigated all the noise/opinions around him while. From being unemployed for months to eventually landing his dream job and ultimately transforming other areas of his life as well.
Plus, we get into a wellllll needed debate about the extent to which partners should discuss past traumas, relationships and issues they've had with their current partner. What matters to one may not matter to the other, but that is why it is important to communicate these things. The boys give their opinion on it!
Its a good one!
We're back with a rant- and boy did we need it after the week(s) we've had. On this weeks episode we talk grief & loss after losing somebody really close to us, it's okay to have different grieving styles but its not okay to push your emotions (or lack thereof) onto someone else.
We also get into our favourite products and things we can't live without, which goes in an interesting direction.
Should you be submissive to your man in exchange for security and protection?
When is it NOT okay to go out without your significant other?
Your friend is a chronic cheater, does this make you more inclined to cheat?

This week, we have one of our own in the Hot Seat. We got Fran sitting down to get grilled with some vulnerable questions to really help us get to know who she is to her core. From her professional/career development to her self-growth journey, Fran doesn’t hold back. I ask her some hard-hitting questions such as how a parent separation has or hasn’t impacted her journey into adulting and how past relationships have shaped the way she views current ones. You know how we are, all fun & banter and less on the emotional side, so this episode even helped me to get to know more about how Fran views life in a deeper more personal way.Let us know your thoughts on these types of episodes— we love to interview other interesting people on here, but hey, we’re kinda interesting too!
We're back with a Roman rants video. In today's episode we talk the things we do that piss other people off, when to step away from a heated argument, keeping the spark alive when living with your partner, getting out of the "roomate" phase in relationship and healthy boundary setting. When do boundaries become a way of trying to "control" the other person?

We're back with a rant.
On this week's episode we talk weekly updates- Fran's terrifying flight scare and Sam's interesting Walmart experience.
We get into our OPINIONS and thoughts about the recent conversations about the trans-community in women's spaces, women sport and the what is a "woman" debate.
Getting deep, we talk about feminine vs masculine energy. Why do we feel the need to be logical, assertive in control rather than embracing our emotions and letting things flow. Why does our feminine energy sometimes seem to be overpowered by the masculine? How do you find a balance?
All this and more on this weeks pod!
Welcome backkk! This week we sit down and have a candid convo with Mel, aka, Fran's best friend. We talk about getting married 'early' and what that really means + societal opinions surrounding marriage in your early twenties. We also discuss mental health and our experiences with anxiety medication as well as other healing mechanisms. Sam also recalls some trauma when it comes to her first experiences with panic attacks and anxiety & how it plays into who she is today, while Mel gets candid about how she has coped/healed her anxiety for most of her teens and adult life. This episode truly felt like a bff sleepover chat LOL! By the end of it we totally forgot we were even in studio. So sit back, grab a lil snacky snack and come chat with us.
We're back with a new episode! On this week, Fran's New fav Show "Alone" sparks an interesting convo.. how long do you think you can REALLY survive in the wilderness?
We get into some relationship topics when Sam came across someone saying that the "rough patch" in their relationship made the relationship grow stronger. But how do you know if its a rough patch or just a toxic relationship... and when is it time to let go?
To end the episode, we talk a bit about how shows need to STOP romanticizing emotional cheating... it is just as bad as physically cheating. What are your thoughts?
Helooooo KIC fam-- Welcome back.
This weeks episode was truly like a mini therapy session. We talk through some vulnerable topics that have been absolutely consuuuuming our thoughts lately. Like, do you ever feel that immense guilt when it comes to resting/doing nothing because of the pressure society/we put on ourselves?
Also, gone are the days of partying every weekend on King West w/ booths and bottles--- we are fullllly welcoming new, invigorating, energetic experiences into our lives that really make us feel connected and alive.
Sam reveals some thoughts she's been struggling with when it comes to letting go of expectations shes had for herself all her life... She realizes that setting herself up to such a high standard doesnt allow her to enjoy the journey along the way.
Fran reveals why shes been self conscious in the gym since being back after 6 months & some tips on how to build up that positive/healthy lifestyle again, not based on aesthetic.
Tune in!
Welcome back fam. This weeks ep is all about self-love & nurturing our emotions and boy oh boy was it an emotional one... apparently theres a new moon vibe & its getting everyone in their energetic feels. Like, literally we've been crying every single day!
This emotional release, so to speak, leads us to some clarity with regards to whats REALLY triggering these emotions deep down. We get vulnerable about our sibling issues... whats it like feeling as though you need to be the perfect leader as the older sibling of the fam... and whats it like feeling like you need to follow in someone else's footsteps as the youngest? All this and more!
Sam also gets a mini therapy sesh from Roman and Fran about how she should work on cutting outttt her people pleasing & start focusing on what SHE truly wants.. and Fran lets us in on some rllllly amazing words of wisdom from a new personal development book shes reading. Is the easy way out sometimes the right way in to something else? Food for thought...
IT' A RANT. Join us on this week's episode where we sit down and vent. Is it normal to go through an identity crisis when you're in your 20's? Sometimes there's a disconnect between what you're doing, and what your soul ACTUALLY wants to do. Do you want to work corporate when there's a social push to be an entrepreneur? Why can't you do both? We also touch upon how being too kind can come back and bite you and how it is OK to not look "perfect" all the time and let loose- you aren't expected to always be professional. We also get into our thoughts on a viral tiktok...enjoy!
On this weeks episode we're joined by our boyfriends roman and francy for our first rant of 2023!
Chat GPT and AI is shaking up the tech world and we get a little bit into it. Is AI making people lazy? will AI take the meaning out of jobs? Will AI take over our jobs? We're kinda nervous ngl.
We also discuss if degrees and school in general are useless in todays world as social media is the new norm and being an 'influencer when i grow up' is what kids seem to be aiming for these days! Finally we get the guys' opinion on why a high percentage of men prefer the "natural no makeup" girl. What does that even mean!!?
LET US KNOW WHAT U THINK
Today we sit down with Energy Healer and Psychic Medium, Samantha (aka, spokenoccult)... and boy, did we get deep on a spiritual level.
Of course we had some girl chats about some weekly updates and what the TikTok hot goss is before we really got into.
We talk about what a psychic medium really is... can she SEE ghosts? Can she talk to our loved ones? How does she tap into energy and what does ones energy really mean. Sam even lets us know that many of us have these intuitive and psychic abilities, we just need to be open to learning how to tap into it. We even get a LIVE tarot card reading and we were shook!! Also--- the crystal craze. Everyone on social media is obsessed with crystals, but how can they really be beneficial to us and our energy's? Sam lets us know!
This week Roman joins as a third co-host to banter about all things moving out. We're all so excited as young adults to buy our first homes or move out on our own, but no one really talks about the mental toll it takes, not in terms of finances, but in terms of actually getting used to your new surroundings.
We also get into the Balenciaga story and in general, why do people start posting online about 'hot topics' pretending to care... are you really ashamed of this designer brand or are you just taking a picture of yourself throwing out the $1200 pair of Balenciaga shoes you already bought to SHOW Instagram that you care.
We also try international snacks PART 2.
All this and more
We're with Dr. Morgan this week who is an amazzzzing relationship coach and expert in all things relating to attachment styles. We get deep into how our romantic relationships and even our sister relationships are affected by the way we each handle communication as well as how we approach situations. Dr. Morgan helps us to distinguish between securely attached and anxiously attached styles and how to respond to certain situations based on your partners identified styles.
We also discuss the most important relationship of them all... thats your relationship to self. Do you ever feel like you are so busy catering to other peoples needs, making sure your other relationships are in good places that you leave very little space for your deepest desires, aka, not fueling yourself up? I know that feeling all to well.... let's see what Dr. Morgan has to say about that.
PLUS she gives us some expert tips on how to identify things that happen in your day to day that may trigger mood changes. At the end of the day these tips help you to look back on the different activities or occurrences that brought up your happy, angry, sad, etc. mood---ultimately helping with overall mindfulness and taking care of yourself!!
On this weeks episode, Roman is back for a Roman's rant video. We talk about the rollercoaster of emotions when buying a first home and leaving your childhood home for the first time. We also take an attachment style quiz. Do you ever feel like you cant sympathize with other people emotions, or youre too heavily relied on, or you get defensive when other people point out something youve done wrong? Our results may resonate with you. Plus we try cool international snacks and rate them 1/10, grab some snacks and join us!
We're back with another episode and this week we get pretty heated!
Fran is late to the game, but her new Game Of Thrones obsession sparked an interesting conversation about the worst T.V show characters to exist. Who do you think takes spot #1? We also get into the topic of relationship jealousy and setting boundaries.
Why do some of us feel the NEED to be the "chill girlfriend"? Is there a certain amount of jealousy in a relationship that can be considered 'healthy'? How can we respect our partners wants yet also set boundaries to protect ourselves and our needs?
We are NOT experts.. but tune into the convo and let us know what ya think.
We’re back with a rant! On this weeks episode we discuss the great and not so great shows happening on netflix right now… would you go on a dating show with your sibling? Weird? Not weird? idk..
In honour of Sams bday month, she dives into 6 key lessons she's learned in the last year...including the realization that not everyone will treat you or certain situations with the same amount of care/respect as you. Sometimes its hard to come to terms with things like this, but that is the only way you won' harbour resentment... what do you think!?
Also, do you ever wonder why you're still tired, even after 8+ hours of sleep!? You’re body actually needs multiple types of rest... more than just the typical 8 hours a night type of thing. Millionaires use the rest methods we talk about in this weeks episode to keep them at their sharpest.. listen & find out...
Thank you Siempre Tequila for sponsoring this weeks episode!
On this weeks episode we are doing something a littttttle bit different. We have the wonderful Mixology Matt on the pod who has quickly turned a hobby/side hustle into a successful business. Matt takes us through one of his mixology classes and teaches us how to make a professional Margarita and Paloma!
Of course a long the way we spill some tea, ask Matt some burning questions and also make a fool of ourselves bc we can't seem to get the utensils to work.. lol. Tune in if you want to join in on the laughter/chat & also learn how to professionally make some of the best Tequila mixed drinks we've ever had! & seriously, go grab yourself a bottle of Seimpre Tequila for your next night out... or day in ;)

On this weeks episode we take a break from topic-based discussions and have a convo with Roman and Francy about one of our favorite pass times... debunking conspiracy theories.
Idk about you guys, but when we're not working, doing the podcast, paying bills, etc, etc, we are nose deep on Reddit conspiracies & it is so fun. We even get into how some of these theories have been present in our own lives... such as sleep paralysis meaning there is a demon in your room....
Sit back and enjoy some really far-fetched and some potentially accurate theories we researched. Do you think any of them have merit?.....
On this episode we have a great conversation with Jesse Michel, athlete- turned entrepreneur.
Not only do we go deep into his journey of touring the world as a pro hockey player, but we get into how mindset is the key to managing the crazy world of professional hockey. Despite multiple injuries, Jesse details how his positive mindset helped him rise above the physical/mental pain and find opportunities elsewhere which have ultimately brought him an abundance of success.
We talk about how he went from owning an e-commerce clothing brand to being a multi-million dollar developer ALL within short amount of years. Our conversation on this episode really showed how putting your mind to something and being CONFIDENT in yourself, really can take you far.
We also piggy back off of our previous conversation on the podcast about women in sports.... and get some pretty interesting insight as to why women are paid less than men coming from someone with extensive background knowledge in the world of sports. This ones a good one so be sure to tune innnn!

Why women don't get paid as much as men, why women are labelled as less entertaining/ skilled, and going over some opinions on what needs to change in order to close the gender wage gap in sports. We end off the episode discussing Andrew Tate, is he "raising" a new generation?

We are soooo excited to be able to share this weeks episode with @The Anxiety Guy with you all!
Dennis has been a pillar in our anxiety healing journey. Specifically, during a time when I felt super alone, scared and misunderstood, it was Dennis' videos that really gave me the tools to be able to start healing and rationally thinking about my health anxiety.
On this episode we Dennis tells us about his own journey from struggling with anxiety to his healing process to now being a mentor/advocate for so many! We also discuss anxiety triggers resulting from trauma, how to identify health anxiety symptoms and Fran and I also get really personal with our own mental health journey's.
Make sure you look our for the amazing exercise Dennis conducts where he helps us reflect on instances of anxiety to compare it with moments of confidence, calmness and ease. You guys can try it at home too!!

This week on the podcast we have the amazzzzing Alessai Scauzillo— business owner and founder of A Sculpt Body. We have an amazing conversation with her about her holistic approach to fitness, how the fitness industry can often have a solely aesthetic approach to fitness as opposed to a health/wellness approach, and how we’ve personally feel into the cycle of body dysmorphia because of these social norms.
She also gives some background on how she was able to go from her 6-figure corporate job to starting her own business from scratch — the mindset shift that had to occur within her that ultimately translated into her full 100% energy into her business and in turn propelled her to be able to quit her corporate job for good. Alessia gets into some of her motivations as to why she started this business and how she has been able to successfully dedicate herself to it for the last 2 years. If anybody out there is thinking about going full-time with their dose-hustle, be sure to listen to Alessia’s insightful advice on how to push through that fear of failure and what others think… once you pass that threshold, theres not stopping you ;)

On this weeks episode we're joined with our boyfriends, Roman and Francy for another highly requested rant episode.
We start off with weekly updates (of course), and this leads into a pretty heated conversation about compromising in a relationship. You should definitely make an effort to enjoy the activities that your partner enjoys, but sometimes you just can't force it!
We also get into why we can sometimes hate Instagram and how it affects self-esteem from a males POV. Further, the ways in which toxic masculinity can hurt rather than help men that need some emotional support or pick me up. #Niceguysdontfinishlast

Buckle up, because here comes another rant! On this week's episode we get into a variety of topics. We discuss the ongoing Depp VS Heard trial and how it shows a glimpse of the realities of some of our favourite celebs. We also get into the Roe Vs Wade decision and the courts power to overturn abortion rights. Why does the government have a say on what we do with our body? We end off the episode with some lighthearted convo, like the truth about sunscreen, Fran getting scouted (and denying) being a contestant on the bachelor, and our fav and least fav Met Gala looks.
Wow...this week we really get personal by sharing some personal physical and mental health struggles with our guest.
Welcome Lana, Reiki master/teacher & life coach, on the podcast this week! We talk what exactly Reiki is, healing through Reiki, how working on our spiritual/personal development journey can combat limiting beliefs... and sooo much more!
Lana even discusses the 7 chakras and how these energy centres are so closely linked with physical sensations and bodily functions. Now, none of us are medical professionals and we'd obviousssssly recommend seeing your doctor for anything going on physically, buttt, it was amazing for us to link some of our own personal stories when it comes to health, o the ay in which certain energy centres could be blocked.... aka, feeling a lack of confidence when it comes to speaking your voice and giving opinions and also dealing with physical symptoms such as inflamed esophagus = a potentially blocked throat chakra! Amazing stuff!
Check out Lana's socials below and reach out to see how she can teach you more about Reiki & even learn a little but more about your own energy centres! @coachingbylana

Keeping it Cento 2022! On this episode we touch base for the first episode of the new year. We talk setting realistic goals... aka setting goals that you feel called to achieve! Maybe that can look like incorporating boxing into your week because it has always been something you have wanted to do! Maybe it is simply establishing clarity in your career path... whatever it is, don't think of it as 'New Year, New Me', think of it more as 'New Year, Better Me'. We are soooo over trying to constantly think of new ways to exceed last years goals, last weeks goals or even just exceed expectations we previously set for ourselves. Instead, we are actively going to be working on healing old wounds, whilst continuously striving forward to be a better version of ourselves, faults and all! Also we start rambling on a little about our soul record and intergenerational soul wounds... yeah, some pretty witchy stuff, LOL! Take a seat, or a stroll... and have a listen to our chat.

In this week's episode, we are joined with Roman (aka Sam's boyfriend) on the podcast. We get into a lighthearted conversation about some relationship-related questions. Why is it weird for girls to propose to guys, and how would Rome feel if Sam popped the question? When is the right time to say "I Love You," and why is there an unwritten rule for the guy to say it first? And why do relationship coaches encourage women to "be a chase" when in a relationship? So many questions were answered with the opinion of a man in a long-term relationship. Plus, we play a game of "Who Knows Sam Better," Fran or Roman?

This weeks episode also touches on mental health & how there is strength in being vulnerable and open… you’ll be surprised how many people you’ll connect with and help heal when you do make yourself vulnerable.
Lastly...is it true that females and males should be trained differently in sports? This is an important topic that exceeds just the area of sports, and in this episode the girls get to discuss how sexism can affect both male and female players-but from a soccer coach’s perspective!

Anxiety is something that affects everyone in different ways, and in this episode Sam, Fran and Natasha go deep and explain some of the ways anxiety has been a factor through career, relationships, and everyday living. The girls note how it has been specifically hard and anxiety-inducing to be patient and move on to the next chapter of their lives, which has been something that a lot of people have been dealing with during this last year of COVID. Natasha touches upon strategies for growth and healing such as how to honour yourself especially during your low days, and also talks about how to deal with feeling pressured by external forces/validation to act in ways that don't truly align with who you are as a person. This is a safe space as always... so sit back, relax, relate, and tune in with us while Sam & Fran keep it real with you.

Hola amigos...This week the girls based their discussion on their most recent binge... Sex Life on Netflix. They talk the romanticization of cheating on your spouse, like... if you're constantly dreaming about sex with another man/woman, why are you even with your current partner? Fran also asks the question of: Is it possible for one person to satisfy ALL your wants and needs n a relationship? Which leads Sam to bring about the discussion of when to draw the line when it comes to making a 'change' for your partner? Is it possible to change our behaviours for the success of the relationship without actually changing ourselves as a person? Soooooo many questions and luckily for you, a whole episode of KIC to ponder on them! Tune in!

Welcome back! This week Sam & Fran get a little heated about their opinions on active listening skills; Sam just can't come to terms with Fran's idea of 'active listening' is! They also debate whether the Netflix hit 'Too Hot to Handle' is scripted or not. Can these people really not go 24 hours without physically touching each other with $100,000.00 at stake!? But most importantly, the girls get into a discussion about cancelling Canada Day. The recent discoveries of hundreds of young children's graves at residential schools have brought Canada's crimes to an international scale and have faced Canadians with the question, should Canada Day be cancelled? Ultimatley, the girls agree that Indigenous voices NEED to be heard, their platforms need to be lifted so that we can all hear their stories & hear what they have to say! The girls also discuss how drinking has become a different experience compared to their ‘younger’ years. Remember when you’re older cousins or friends, who weren’t reallllly that much older than you, used to tell you they can’t drink like they ‘used to’? Well, after some recent bad experiences, the girls explain their perspective on this. Side note… why do so many East Coast American-Italians pronounce Italian words without the last, most important, syllable? Its ‘mozzarella’ not ‘mozzarell’!!! Tune in for these discussions and more!

After a week of birthday celebrations, Sam and Fran are back with another episode. In honor of Fran turning 22, and Sam being in her 20s for a decent amount of time now, the girls have put together a few major lessons that they’ve learned, and are still learning while being a young adult. They talk about discovering your drinking limit, (why drink to get blackout drunk?), how quitting doesn’t always make you a quitter, and why it’s okay to be vulnerable with people. (not everything has to be taken so seriously!!) Whoever said you’re going to be married with kids with a stable job and a house by the time your 35 is lying, and we’d like to have a chat with them. The girls get into certain situations in which they’ve “autopiloted” through life and essentially, why it’s OK to not have your life figured out in your 20’s.
Welcome back KIC listeners... on this episode the girls play the classic 'Truth or Drink'. Sam & Fran are pretty comfortable being truthful with each other so it is safe to say that they spilled a lot of secrets! You'll have to tune into this weeks episode to get to know these girls a little bit more. Maybe even play along and make yourself your fav cocktail for some R&R while listening to this weeks episode.

The big 40. Welcome to episode 40! This week sure is a mouth full for Sam & Fran. The KIC listeners sent in their opinions on why they think women's sports aren't as popular, well recognized, and why women have been under-represented in this career field! First things first, the girls give their opinions as to why this is the case.... from gender norms, to mass media, and deeply embedded perceptions of what females should be 'doing' with your life.... they really dive deep into this conversation with no filter! Overall, the KIC podcast wants to normalize these conversations and push the boundaries for what women can and WILL achieve going forward.
Be sure to listen all the way to the end, this sure is a good one.

Do you guys ever find yourselves closed off to affection from your friends/family? Resistant to ask for help? Do you ever feel confused about what you truly want in life? Do you believe in coincidences or does everything truly happen for a reason? The girls had so much fun recording with our guest @themindpalace.ca this week where she goes in-depth to answer these questions and so much more. Sam & Fran are super excited for the KIC fam to tap into their spirituality and realize how it can help heal them!
Make sure to tune in and stay until the end for a special 5-minute mediation at the end of the episode!

Does money really buy happiness? Maybe, maybe not... that might have to be determined on a different episode. But what the girls do determine on this week's episode of KIC is that being able to understand how to save & spend money wisely is definitely something that will make you happier in the long run. We've all had that uh-oh moment when we realize we've maybe spent too much or are scared that we haven't saved enough. Well... it's not too late! We're all on this journey of being able to manage our money and develop financial literacy together! The girls let you in on their fears of not understanding enough about how to save and spend wisely, as well as how to make the most amount of money possible.. because let's get real, we all want as much as we can get. They also delve into some of the top tips that have helped them maximize funds thus far, so make sure to listen and let them know whether this has worked for you or not! Sam & Fran are no financial experts, just two girls trying to share their journey ... what has worked and what hasn't. KIC would love to hear what has worked for the listeners, let us know!

So Sam was right, Fran is haunted… or in other words, she’s a seer! The beginning of this week’s episode starts off with a good old ghost story and the little encounter Fran had with a shadow person. The girls then get to what they believe is a crucial three-step process to coping with a breakup whether your the breaker-upper or the breakup-ee... AKA the Ultimate Breakup Bible. Things get a little personal as they share their own experiences with how they've grown and what they've learned. They then get into an impromptu little this or that: cheating edition. Texting someone and hiding it from your partner, going to a strip club, and still lingering on dating apps while in a relationship. Cheating? Not cheating but fk you? Not cheating at all? Tune in to see what the girls have to say about it!**

You know the drill by now. The girls start this week's episode with their daily dose of weekly updates- Zac Efron's new face, all-nighter hallucinations, and how to get away with not picking up your dog poop on a walk lol. The girls then dive into the results of their Instagram This or That: Movie Edition! Although some of these movies are pretty cringing, nothing can ever beat the feel-good movie vibes of A Cinderella Story, 13 Going on 30, and of course... She's the Man. After you listen to this episode, you'll definitely want to re-watch one of these movies for the 10th time.

Do ray me fa so la ti... No lol.
The girls start this week's episode with a little singing challenge; although they both are pretty bad, who's the worst of the worst? They then get into some of their weekly updates and tea such as that drywall scandal about the drywall guy who works in drywall and gets fired from his drywall company (take a shot every time Sam says drywall). Things then get political. If you've been a loyal listener, you know the girls don't love talking about politics on the episode. Still, they felt like it was time they shared their opinion on how they think the Canadian government has been handling the covid situation and vent about the thoughts running through their head. They question if there are other intentions behind the lockdowns, why certain situations regarding large corporations have been hidden, and the wishy-washy decisions the Ontario government has made. The girls like to follow the rules; that's how they have always been… but it comes to a point when they believe you have to question if the actions being done are really for the benefit of the people and the greater good in general. Feel free to message them your opinions and comments, as no opinions are invalid, and they are always up for a good debate!

Welcome to a new episode! This week, the girls get right into it and really keep it 100. They get real about body image, specifically in the eyes of social media. They each discuss their personal battles with body image from receiving hurtful TikTok comments, to comparing themselves to what social media deems as the “normal” beauty standard. They then get into discussing some listener opinions such as how different everybody’s perception of themselves would be without social media, and discuss why labeling voluptuous people in the media as 'unhealthy' can be detrimental...

Welcome back to a new episode! This week starts off with Fran’s latest obsession of the week, Leo Dicaprio, and a confused Sam as she fails to understand why some people watch movies like ‘ Titanic’ just for fun. The girls then get into a deep conversation about their most ambitious goals and what’s on their bucket list. Start a podcast- check. Live in a different country for a year- pending. Not only do these bucket lists bring back some good memories like starring in a musical in the basement of a church, but the girls realize that you can actually level up your life through the exploration of people and places, rather than just being laser-focused on career/profession... tune in to find out the deets of this conversation!

Have you ever farted without knowing someone was in the same room as you? Sam and Fran sure have and share their unique and embarrassing stories of the week. The girls then go onto discuss a bunch of random sh** they just don't get. Why is there such a feud between Millenials and Gen Z? Don't get it. Sam doesn't get the concept of boxed water, why does it taste better? Fran tries to understand how our brain comprehends languages. Antique living rooms, pointless don't get it. They then get into their thoughts on the concept of engagement rings. Are they just a product of society? The girls give their real opinions on these unanswered questions. You don't want to miss it!

Just kidding… but not really… This week Sam & Fran discuss what it would be like if Sam actually got on Big Brother & Fran actually got on love island ( can anyone help hook this up for them!!?? ;))) since they have been working on application for most of this week! Fran also recalls a sleep paralysis event from this week that included Sam as the star of the show.. yay, lol. The girls go on to discuss the real and raw ways the pandemic has changed them, both good and bad, both physically and mentally, in honour of it being approx. 1 year since the start of COVID, and how they’re looking at this new way of life as a paradigm shift…. They also lighten up the convo a little bit with a trend survey from the past year… what ‘trends/fads’ have you guys given into amidst this crazy year!?

The girls get into a game of This or That Nostalgic Show Edition, which prompts memories of the one tree hill, gossip girl, and even CMT sitcom days… sometimes it feels good to reflect on shows/memories that give you that sense of comfort amirite!? KIC is back with another episode! This week Fran and Sam start off the pod by sharing their good ol' high school stories. Fran shares her most embarrassing grade 9 memory that has to do with www.matchourbabies.com... remember that!? And Sam recalls the time she backed up a car into an unfortunate object while a bunch of people watched.... her nickname was the name of that object for a while....The girls move into some deeper conversations stemming from a post found on Instagram. They voice their opinions on traditional 'feminism', pro-life protestors, and people who push their views on these subjects, specifically through social media. They end off the episode addressing the Chris Harrison situation... all you bach fans know what they're referring to. Would you watch the bachelor if Chris Harrison was no longer the host?!

Helloooo, KIC is back! The 'Keeping it Cento' podcast has established that sometimes that name is just too long to type.... so when Sam & Fran are lazy they'll use KIC as the acronym from now on ;). In this weeks episode, the girls take a live personality test and really deep dive into whether or not it is accurate or not... they give their reasoning behind some of their answers that have to do with their thinking styles, their sociability, and what they like to do for fun! Sam's outcome was not so much what she expected, but nonetheless, the test helped them both reflect on why they are the way they are! The girls also do a quick lil Valentines Day this or that and reflect on what this magical holiday was like back in highschool; filled with roses from secret admirers and match-making cards... fun! Of course, the episode ends with some Bach talk as well as a very, very special guest who stops by t say hi. Trust, you don't wanna miss this one.

Welcome back to Keeping it Cento....This week the girls get right into it and start off the pod by discussing Bridgerton. Sam's on the bandwagon, Fran not just yet, but she'll get there. What do you guys think.... yay or nay to Bridgerton? The main focus of this week's episode is the girls' realization of how overtime, self-sabotaging ways can be kinda destructive. Whether it is in your professional life, personal/relationship life or anything in between, triggering thoughts and/or feels may lead you to self-sabotage certain situations. Sam identifies what she thinks the main characteristics of self-sabotage are, and Fran identifies the recent moment that she recognized her self sabotaging ways. Now, the girls are definitely not therapists, but they are doing what they can to give you their insight on the matter, as well as determining ways to help you get out of that self-sabotaging cycle. Also, maybe you can make a little game out of this episode and take a drink every time one of them says self-sabotage...or maybe even just re-read this description a couple of times... you will be 14 drinks deep and ready for a partaaaaay. Anyways, lol. If you are a bachelor fan stay tuned until the end where Sam and Fran discuss their thoughts on the dramatics of Monday's episode.

Helloooo everyone! This week Fran is back and ready to give her opinions on 'closure'. Sam and Fran discuss when they believe closure is really necessary and when it isn't. Do you realllllly need to see your ex for one last hookup, then lowkey label it as closure? Or is that playing games? Sam talks about times where 'friendship breakups' led to her feeling the need for closure to get one last word in, and times where she was content with just letting the toxicity go. Ultimately, they keep it real and let listeners know what the concept of 'closure' really means to them. They also read some listener DMS! The girls finally play 'are you smarter than a 5th grader?', and let's just say Fran could use some mapping skills, and Sam could use some biology lessons. Annnddd, if you are a bachelor fan like them, stay tuned 'till the end for a brief recap of this week's episode! They talk bachelor Matt's kissing with his eyes open, who the actual villain of this season is, and who they think could be a front runner at this point...

Today Sam is flyin' solo. Nonetheless, she has a rant-and-a-half for you this Thursday. The episode starts off with some Bachelor recap.... from Serena's boots, to Queen Victoria's antics, to Bachelor Matt's make-out skills...she gives her opinion on Monday's episode and whether or not Matt is really cut out for this. Sam gets into the topic of appearance based biases when it comes to ones profession, career, and special hobbies/interests. She tells some stories of when her ability to work/perform was questioned due to her style and what she learned from that experience, and also recalls a time when Fran's athleticism was questioned. Sam goes off on a little 'motivational' rant, giving the listeners tips and insights on how to continue pursing what you love no matter what 'group' society tries to push you into. Want to be a model, but you're not 5'7 with a 23 inch waist? No problem! You can still make it happen, the opportunities are endless.... A lot of millennials are trying to figure out their career, their passions, and what they want to do with their life, and Sam drives home the point of... as long as you keep going, and believe in yourself, you will never fail!

The girls are back this week podcasting from their new space... La garagé. A few episodes ago Sam & Fran asked their male listeners what they didn't 'get' about women. This week they have a male guest to answer and crush some male stereotypes. Do guys really care about how many people their girl has slept with? Do guys recover from a breakup quicker than girls? Find out what this particular guests think and stay tuned until the end of the episode when the girls dive deeper into these topics. Why does society make women feel like its taboo to hookup on the first date? Sam and Fran will let you know their opinions loud and clear! Oh... and also Sam picks up her electric guitar and plays some rad tunes for you guys... let us know how good you think she is!!!

Happy 2021! Sam and Fran are entering the new year with a new mindset, taking care of the mind, body, and soul. In this episode, the girls dive a bit deeper into their personal lives, sharing their struggles with anxiety and how it has impacted their everyday situations. They also share some tips that have helped them cope with stressful situations and the evil cycle of overthinking. The girls also give their opinion on how “self-care” has become more of an aesthetic than an actual stress reliever itself. The constant do’s and dont’s of a “instagrammable” self-care day causes destressing to become more stressful. The girls take a more nonchalant approach, looking like shit in bed and doing absolutely nothing all day long.

It is the last episode of the year! The girls discuss all the shit they don't have time for in 2021... they discuss how unattainable perfection is something Sam will be leaving behind in order to make way for new opportunities and goal setting. Fran decides she is going to try and 'digitally disconnect' in the new year in order to focus more on herself. The sisters also touch on some fads they think should be left behind in this whirlwind of a year; from tye-dye tracksuits to micro-purses, and more! Stay tuned for their discussion about this week's holiday this or that, and their attempt at imitating the Grinch's voice... let's just say voice acting is not going to be something they go for in 2021!

Remember those nights out where you'd get all dressed up...hair, makeup, outfit (that you probably spent way too much $$ on), you'd order an Uber with your friends and jam out to throwback songs from the early 2000's, then you'd get to the club and line up in the freezing cold bottle service line, show your ID (or maybe fake ID) to the bouncer, and go inside the clerb to have a dope-ass time with your friends?... Seems like a lifetime ago, right? On this week's episode, the girls basically talk all things clubbing and 'going out'. They talk about the differences going out when they were teenagers to now as adults, and how they navigated the club scene with strict Italian parents. Fran tells a funny story about how she almost got caught by mom Maria when she was under 19 (#rebel), and Sam gives some hangover cure tips that she's acquired over the last few years! The girls even get into some pet peeves... such as those people who spray ACE bottles all over their hair in a booth... like, why!!?

This week's rant is brought to you by weird childhood things Sam & Fran did (and hope you can relate to) when they were young...we're talking playing Aquamarine, having mini spelling bee's in the car, Bonhomme de Neige Carnival, and more. The girls reminisce on those fun times as a way to get away from the hustle and bustle of adulting and figuring shit out! Speaking of figuring shit out, make sure you stick around because Sam & Fran discuss whether or not it is okay for someone to go for their friend's ex if they think he/she is really the one. Fran also has a mini therapy sesh debating about whether it's become increasingly difficult to open up to new people, or she is just not in the mood to date at this point in her life.

The sisters get to sit down and talk with up and coming singer/songwriter @a.i.c.a._ about how she came to realize she wanted to pursue her passion for singing, the struggles she faced along the way, her main sources of inspiration, and how she even made it on Serge Ibaka's Instagram Live competing in a singing competition. In all seriousness, other than nostalgic throwbacks, Sam & Fran debate on who was the real guitar hero, why the Big Comfy Couch was a little bit creepy, and how Tamagotchi's were the simplest yet best piece of technology ever. This episode also dives into the topic of whether or not the post-secondary school you go to really matters. Are you a wuck festern advocate from UofT? Or maybe a Ry High alumn? Or maybe even just a straight out of high school and into the workforce type of guy? Well, Sam & Fran get into the ups and downs of their differing school experiences, why one school may be higher stress than the other (or not), and ultimately their opinion on if the school you go to REALLY does matter.

The girls dedicate this episode to a game of THIS or THAT 'pop culture' edition; from pumpkin spiced latte's to Harry Potter obsessions to their thoughts on an Only Fans profession, Sam & Fran establish that most of their opinions stray from the norm. Of course, it wouldn't be an episode of 'Keeping it Cento' without an argument or two; the girls bicker over who was the green Powerpuff girl when they were younger and reminisce on the days where they had fake boyfriends named Nick & Joe Jonas. It is safe to say their quirkiness definitely comes out in this episode. Oh, and don't forget to sing along to Fran's song with her, called 'Lead Me On'.
Sam & Fran are back after a week off at the cottage! Speaking of the cottage, the girls discuss an unpleasant occurrence between their family and a man that left Sam saying something she kindaaaa regrets. They also answer some of your "dating"-related questions including first date pet peeves, should you give the shy guys a second chance, and more. Fran also tells the story of her first date gone wrong! Stay tuned until the end when the girls announce an exciting addition to "Keeping it Cento"!

In today's episode, Sam & Fran recall the intense argument they had while recording last week's episode.... and inevitably end up arguing about the argument! They also try and dissect reasons why people still play games while dating.... is there really a point in waiting 4 hours to text someone back? The girls discuss an incident involving Fran's ponytail ending up in a pool, why Sam doesn't always smile in pictures, and more! PS. They also discuss some 'this or that' opinions in which Fran expresses her unpopular point of view on f.r.i.e.n.d.s. vs Modern Family. Finally, the girls answer some of your questions including how to deal with f*ckboys, and how they feel about the mandatory mask law. Wear the damn mask Karen!
