A trip to the beach seemed to be just what the family needed and what Goodson needed to get his golf game in order. And the family is going to Charleston for a Spring Break getaway.

This week we get an update on the new grandson and Bradi's condition. Both mom and baby are doing well. Goodson hurt his leg at the local trampoline park but is still able to swing the golf club. Eley is going to her middle school homecoming dance this Saturday. Travis also talked about the Shark Tank Reunion in Vegas and how he lost his wallet and phone within the first hour there.
While Bradi's at home with the brand new baby, new grandpa Travis talks about the excitement of the week an what it was like to welcome his new grandson home. Travis is also attending the upcoming Shark Tank Reunion in Las Vegas.
Bradi seems especially calm, considering everyone thought the new baby would be arriving yesterday. After a doctor's appointment, we now learn it could be just after midnight on Monday. Well the show began with Travis correcting me on how I've introduced the show over many episodes. The proper phrase is "You can learn to play guitar immediately with Chord Buddy." Travis and Goodson hired a bass guide for a fishing trip on Lake Eufaula and caught some really good bass and learned about finding the fish in difficult warmer weather. Eley's 14th birthday party is coming to the pontoon boat this weekend. And things are ramping up for the 4th quarter at Chord Buddy, which is the most wonderful time of the year.
The whole family takes the pontoon boat out for a spin on lake Eufaula. Travis and Goodson will soon be joined by a guide on the lake to learn a bit more about fishing and finding the fish. And the date of this podcast marked a rather important day for Travis and the company.
So a kitchen table discussion turned into buying a new pontoon boat a couple of hours later. And then it's off to the lake to put the new boat into the water. At Chord Buddy a new TV commercial will soon be shot to help spread the word.
This week there's talk about getting Goodson into the local Jr. PGA League. An upcoming trip to the beach for the family is coming soon. And Travis talked about how some frets on guitars are too long and the remedy.
There are two very serious topics on the Chord Buddy podcast this week. One is a wreck involving Bradi and the other was very close to a heart attack involving Travis. So, guess who's turned over a new leaf?
Goodson hits twelve and the pool party is on. The Dothan Future Masters (PGA Youth Golf Tournament)is on and Travis takes the boy to check it out. Is it hotter today than when we were young? There's a definite heatwave in the Dothan area.
Travis is kinda down in the dumps this week. His boy Goodson, is at the beach with a friend and Travis is forced to get to know his beautiful young daughter, Eley. As it turns out, we learned Eley is a very bright young lady. Travis enjoyed her company and thinks she's a keeper.
Travis took Goodson to see Top Gun finally, after 2 or 3 attempts over the weekend. Travis also tried to take Goodson fishing but realized he should have gone to church.
We finally got Travis' favorite son, Goodson, on the podcast! Goodson talks about his involvement in sports over the spring and summer. Travis talks about his blood pressure issue. And we briefly discussed the Texas school shooting.
Travis talks about Baytown, near Destin, Florida, where the family spent some time over the weekend. Bradi is going to school, soon, to eventually become a nurse practitioner. Goodson wraps up baseball for the season but his tryout for basketball is not going so well. And there's a new prize wheel on ChordBuddy.com.
Travis talked about Jerome Jackson sitting in with his Stateline Five band at Keel & Company in Headland, Alabama Saturday night. There was also talk about the 6 foot 9 inch inmate who escaped from the Lauderdale County, Alabama jail assisted by a female deputy. And the new marketing company for Chord Buddy has begun their new campaign.
So maybe the biggest news ever on the Chord Buddy Podcast is that Travis will soon be a grandpa. Bradi is having a baby boy! Travis also talks about living a healthier lifestyle and having diabetes. We also got an update on Goodson and Travis' other daughter Elie, who seems to be well adjusted and enjoying her time with her friends.
Travis is excited about the return of the USFL to Birmingham. Travis and Bradi are getting back into going to the gym in an effort to get into better shape. New adds will be showing up soon on social media for Chord Buddy. And Travis and his band, Stateline Five, will soon be appearing in a local TV commercial.

After a not so successful camping trip, Travis and the family may have decided to give up on camping all together. Maybe it was the flat tire on the camper only minutes after leaving home.
