Sarah starts the On Giants' Shoulders series with one of her favourite examples of birth spaces designed via observation and respect for the birth process. Michel Odent created these spaces as part of his obstetric practice at Pithiviers from 1962-1985. This is a must listen episode because so many of the design elements he achieved are important for our understanding of birth spaces today.
